I love this location. its always so busy, but the staff is really nice. They always are quick to find and answer questions. If you go on their website and sign up for text message alerts, they send you a 30% off coupon. Not sure if its all the time but worth a shot. The Halloween section is spootacular! They offer a wide selection, and some really beautiful skulls.

Great place to find and buy Lemax Christmas houses and accessories. They have arts and crafts as well as baking supplies. They have holiday decor and storage supplies for crafts. They sell a variety of floral as well.

The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly they are on the floor and available. They usually have what need at reasonable/competitive pricing.

Michaels has always been a place where I can go in sad and become so happy,creating so much in my head while I shop, they are always stock with the most inventive products,making a creative person go insane, today I went to the store to find a Christmas wreath and left with several other things, Mary was so nice that made my stopping by so great,sweet employee!!After three years Ive begun to paint again as usual Michaels Craft store has all the products I need to bring my creation to fruition. Thankyou, especially to the wonderful employees.I dont know about your Micheals but the Gurnees is awesome,thankyou guys!!!

This was to me a small Michaels Store but it had a good amount of products that I like to shop. everything was organized and clean. they had a large wall of clearance items where I found some for 90% off. I had a little issue today but I went back and fixed right away. I live very far away so it was a good thing I double check my receipt before we drove away. The team Members were friendly and helpful when I needed to check prices since the scanner on the wall wasnt working.

Ok seriously cant go here with my 10 year old daughter because we shop and usually spend more than we can afford! It is so much fun while we are there and when we get to do the projects it is always fun! Crafts are a great way to do some bonding and talking with your kids! But I love to find a small creative project that I can do when I am without my kiddos as it is nice to have downtime with myself...And all Moms can relate that having time with and without our babies is super rewarding! The staff here will always help you find age appropriate and popular crafty things to do! I highly recommend checking this business out!

Very well organized. But the worst part was finding someone to help you. You better know where is the item you need or your going to be out of luck.

Awesome store for the novice who is just finding their creative side or the master who wants to paint their own canvas or create their own wedding decorations. This place has anything and everything you need. They even do custom framing although it is on the pricer side. The clearance section is awesome, you can find things you didnt even know you wanted. The store is a bit tricky to navigate especially your first time there, but go often enough and youll have no trouble finding whatever it is you need.

Decided not to buy anything because the line for check out was too long.

Love this store. I was wondering why i didnt know about this store being in this area for long time. Very well stocked with different and cool crafting. This store became my first choice than anything else for craft and home decors just after my first visit.

Asked someone where something was and they pointed to an aisle and walked away. The item i asked about was not even in that aisle. Hire people who want to help

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked store, with great seasonal discounts. Today I got my hands on a $40 photo frame for only $12, bargain! Only reason it’s not 5* is because I only give those out to places with that something extra.

Anything you need for crafty days you will most likely find at Michaels. I would shop there a lot more if their prices were lower. Just like JoAnns their regular prices are way too high...then we get excited with the 40% off sales which many times are still too high. But I must say there are items to be found at good prices...it just seems to me that the majority of items are overpriced.

Outstanding customer service. I interacted with 2 employees.1 on the floor who assisted me in finding what I needed. The other was at the register who helped me pull up a coupon and was just super friendly.

Visited during the spring Black Friday sale. Got some great values.

Most Michaels are a joy to go in to. This one in Gurnee has some horrible associates. My grandchildren and I were followed around the store and being watched. Then, harassed at the register that my 2 cards on Samsung pay were no good and I have to have the card or cash to pay. I want allowed to use my debit card either. I will never spend another dime in that store, or set foot in there again.Being treated like a thief is unacceptable. We had no big purses, jackets, or bags, to hide anything.These young people need to be educated and learn to treat people with respect.Maybe watch your employees, instead of people who are spending money to pay their wages!

This place is always very well stocked and I just love all of the different options they have here for crafting. I love this store! I wish they had this store where I lived or one closer to where I lived. They have such a variety of things. They also are one of the very few stores that sells Halloween villages. Highly recommend this store.

Best place to get your crafting supplies. Its very near everything else (theres stores for hardware, pets, furniture, grocery etc.). They have sales and really good deals from time to time, and theres a Michaels app to get coupons for your crafting needs.

As always, I found more than came for. They have a great selection of craft items. The staff was friendly and while there was a line to check out, the line moved quickly. There were great sales as well as everyday low prices on many items.

Very good store for home decorations including flowers, vase and paintings. They carry frames for pictures and paintings. A good place for seasonal decors Students can get school projects supplies. Trifold and presentation materials are also available.

Employees are really friendly and helpful although I dont need help often. Coupons are good but their clearance prices are Meh. The Michaels brand on most things is good quality (I think sticky notes are the exception they stink) and they have so many cute designs.

I love Michaels and they have a great selection of arts and craft. My only complaint is there is a deadspot and my coupon couldnt load, usually the cashier helps me out with a store coupon, but this time she just looked at me like I was crazy. Even 10percent would have been great for my over $100 total, but she didnt offer me anything.

Havent had any issues and been going to this store since 2000ish.

Very small store they have basic supplies but almost no frabric.

Selection is so much smaller than other local locations but the people are really great. Always a wide variety for just about any kind of crafting. It can be confusing with the different coupon offers, but all cashiers know their stuff and are very helpful.

First and foremost I understand what is happening to specialty stores these days. With the intention of online shopping brick stores have a lot of competition and need to cut costs to have a chance.This store was a mess. I dont know how anyone expects to find anything, and because the shelves are such a mess you cant rely on the price shown being for the item youre buying.The staff is over worked under experienced and just looking for a corner to hide in and get their day over with. They arent bad employees, mostly young with limited knowledge and to many tasks.At this point you can buy a lot of what Michaels sells at Target and Walmart, for less. It seems like a fourth of the store is for cheep gimmicky items to entice children, Im looking at you slime kits.Remember what you are Michaels, you are a store dedicated to arts and crafts. Focus on filling your store with what someone might need for those arts and crafts that they cant necessarily wait to have delivered from Amazon.

The employees at Michaels are SO pleasant and friendly despite the constant crowds. Charles is hilarious, friendly and so very helpful, he makes the checkout process so much fun! Leann (spelling?) is a sweetheart too.

I love this Michaels. They always seem to have good stock, they arent out of products often, and they have a good assortment of products. The store itself is clean and you can tell the staff is making an effort to keep the lines moving and provide good customer service.

Normally I find everything I need in this store and more. Yesterday, I found the frames I was looking for, but the embroidery floss section was a total mess with very empty slots/inventory. Very disappointing. Never did see an employee on the floor to ask for help.

I was very disheartened, as usual. But they are remodeling the store and theres a lot of empty shelves/racks. I went in to buy 2 items that a friend of mine had bought there and nobody knew where they were. While I was asking an associate for directions where the items might be relocated at in the store, another customer also came and asked where she might find the item.tjat she was looking for. We both left discouraged. I saw quite a few people walking out with nothing.
