Light show was amazing, staff however didnt know anything (perhaps its their 1st day) we had to pry and ask other ticket holders where they got their hot chocolates (tis the season).. one employee said go to the nearest culinary place really? .. we heard people complaining about the food app, because we got their food 1st before theirs.. but like i said lighting was amazing and fun to get out and stretch your legs during this covid time. Mask is required all times.

Holiday in the Park was great! Amazing lights and decorations everywhere you look, friendly staff and enjoyable shows for all ages. I was impressed with how serious they took under cleanliness and Covid sanitation. There were sanitizer stations EVERYWHERE, seriously every 20mft it seemed like. Seemed like an employee was in every single bathroom ready to clean and wipe things down. Unfortunate that no rides were operating, but I understand that. Food stations were a bit of a nightmare tho, expect a LONG time to get your food. Only reason it lost a star. Worth a visit with the kids or a date!!

Lots of fun if you are a season pass holder. We are so parking is included and we spent the 1st half of the day at the water park and the second on rides. We went on a Thursday so the lines were not long and everyone was able to enjoy their favorite rodes. We have gold cups, so refills all day which makes it worth it to have them. They are approximately 20 each and for a large family like ours works. We bought 6 cups. We ate at a restaurant in the Southwest territory and had the nachos and pulled pork so everyone had some. They cost around 16 dollars each. The handicapped stalls are not really big enough for a wheelchair and their supplies and hard to transfer to. They had some type of pink box in front of the disabled sink and dryer, so we had to make do. She could not do this alone so be prepared to help. Six flags could do a little better for the disabled but they try. They have a chair to lower your person down into the pool and while it works slowly it works good. They staff was extremely helpful and kind. All in all my girl had a great time at the pool and enjoys it very much. We didnt go in the wave pool but it looks like a lot of fun.

Im not sure which is worse here, the lack of attractions or the terrible service. It makes no sense that the rides are closed, but if you want to swim in a pool with hundreds of other people, that is acceptable. Also, besides the price of food here being outrageous, the service here made me regret coming to Six Flags in the first place. I will not be recommending Six Flags Great America for a long time.

All of the rides that you can think of or imagine. Full of excitement. Clean, plenty of eateries. Start with the easier ones. Be a bit careful while eating before some rides. Better to stay in hotels nearby, you can take rest after some time and come back on the same ticket.

Ive been to six Flags 100s of times. This was my least favorite visit. Not just because we couldnt access all of the park, but because the dining pass was confusing and some employees didnt understand it well enough to explain it and had us walk from the water park all the way to the main entrance only to find out that that wasnt necessary and this employee who didnt know anything wasnt some young adult or entry level worker, he was some important guy dressed in distinguishable uniform- great america dress shirt with slacks. There were also a handful of rude employees policing this time. Of course due to covid and fear of an outbreak or whatever but theres a way you communicate to paying guests. You want them to return one day and invest so yelling is unacceptable.

This is a great amusement park. The rides are fun, and I always find the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. There is so much to do and so many rides to ride that you could easily fill up one busy day. While it is not the cleanest place, I try to look past that whenever I go here. What you are getting is more or less worth the price, and the season passes are a great deal if you are planning on going multiple times. The crowds are handled well, and the lines never get too long. It is not a confusing layout, and the park is easy to get around. The food is mediocre, but I do recommend bringing your own food because it is incredibly expensive. This is an overall great amusement park with plenty to do.

Six Flags Great America is a great theme park with many thrilling and unique roller coasters. They also have kiddie rides and thrilling (mostly spinning) flat rides. This park gets very crowded on a busy day and waits often can be over an hour.Their tallest attraction (standing at 330 feet tall) is Sky Trek Tower. This rotating capsule gives you a great view and a verbally documented tour of the park and waterpark. With admission over $50/person and parking at $26/vehicle, a season pass or membership that includes parking is definitely worth it. Since meals are over $10, snacks are over $5, and a small (nonrefillable) drink is $5.50, the season dining pass and refillable cups are also way worth the money. All in all, its a good park, but be prepared to wait in lines. Also be prepared to spend a lot of money on food and drink if youre not equipped with the season dining pass and refillable drink cup.

We bought the platinum flash pass and thank goodness doing that deal! Even though it was expensive we got over 50 rides with the pass.In terms of rides the operations were pretty good. But X Flight can be slow because of the large trains. The rides at the park is the best in the western Midwest area. Goliath packs a punch but is very short, Superman is a great flying coaster in which you are in a flying position on the ride. X Flight is very smooth and graceful. But the best ride of all at the park is Raging Bull in which you are over 200 feet in the air. Although this ride has the longest line in the park so I would recommend getting on that when the park just opened or is about to close. Overall I had a amazing experience at the park and I hope I come back soon!

Six Flags Great America has it all! More than 15 roller coasters, tons of thrill and family rides and an extensive water park. This park really shines with its fright fest event and the Love at First Fright stage show in the Grand Music Hall. Im looking forward to Holiday in the Park this year for the first time ever. Just as a note, because the park is so big and offers so much it often gets incredibly crowded. It is best to arrive before opening for a smooth arrival experience. The food and drink lines can also get very long, so I suggest bringing an empty water bottle that you can refill with water at refill stations around the park.

This review is for the entrance to the park on a Saturday. The park itself is 4 star for me. In general the park is a good place to have fun. Adequate resources for your needs during your stay here. The rides are 5 stars, maintained well and a good variety of old favorites and new ones.Okay, now for the entrance. Its a nightmare! If you arrive here after 11am expect a line thats around 150 yards long. The worst part is there is no staff ditecting people where to line up. There is 3 very long line of people snaking around and nobody know which line goes where. You have to go figure that out for yourself.Near the main entrance, close to the flags, there is one security guy that acts as an information person but you will easily miss him out of the hundreds of people moving around. You will also find people cutting and skipping through the line. For an amusement park that charges both arms for entrance fee and a leg for parking fee you would expect that the management have the decency and empathy for their patrons.Goodluck to all of you! The staffs in the park are nice, the management? Youre just a number to them.

Great rides. Lines are always long and time estimates from this point including times in app are way off! One said 30 min but was 90 min - another ride in the app showed 10 min but when we walked there 5 min later the sign at the entrance showed 45 min. Checked app again standing there and it was still wrong. The food had always been way overpriced! $6 for a soda, $2 for adding cheese on a burger. $30 just to park. They do what they can to get you there the upscope way too much. One time is a hard value intentionally. Better long term deal with season pass and meal deal with lower prices for food. Again, rides are awesome though.

In other words say you haven’t visited the Park and they took your money. That money does not count. So your paying more for that membership upgrade. I cancelled mine due to the fact of this covid -19 outbreak and I still received a collections letter. They need better customer service over the phone. It’s a big fat fail in that department. Everyone pays good money at this theme park! Hard earned money especially when you hAve 3 or more kids. To disregard everything else you paid already as a member plus the upgrade when it’s the same.
