Music with the Impacts is always nice. Its nice to hear the old familiar oldies. The Impacts singing group is great! Dancing to those with slow dances is romantic. My husband and I dont get out much. But its romantic walking on the deck right along the Gulf. Night lights while you are dancing let you see the Gulf thru large windows! Very inexpensive if you buy your tickets ahead They are 12.00 a piece. Just call the office and ask the next time they are playing and buy your tickets ahead. Much more money--like 25.00 a piece at at the door.You can get group tables if you call ahead too. Costs you nothing extra. Full bar. Its so fun and relaxing evening!

Cute little place. We visited an art exhibit at the casino, very nice. Lots of phenomenal pieces. Nice small beach area, with an awesome playground thats totally fenced for the kids to play. Lots of places to eat, get a bite, and a great show at the Neptune. Seems like a nice place to visit for a while.

Wonderful, quaint and friendly town. We enjoyed the day shopping, eating and enjoying the scenery. Will definitely be back. Thank you Gulfport!

Beautiful old hardwood floors make for excellent dancing! Holds well over two hundred people with wonderful view of water on two sides and pier to walk on the water just steps away. Full bar available as well.

I went here for a Contra Dance last week and enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Place is clean. I look forward to trying new dance events in the future.

Wednesday night dances are alot more fun than I was expecting. Great restaurants and bars right around also. Dancing is open and very friendly to all.

This is a very cute little town. Not only do you have an area where you can go to the beach with plenty of parking and amazing views, you also have plenty of places to eat, plenty of little shops to visit, and an altogether fun time for family, friends and couples. This is a community that is alternative, so if your sensitivity levels to that type of crowd are higher than lower, it may not be a venue for you. Nonetheless, great place to visit, cute little town, but bring your wallet with you because the prices in these restaurants are not inexpensive. This is a great place to fish, hang out, bike, walk around, and enjoy the quaint little surroundings this area offers.

We always enjoy dancing on to the oldies group the Impacs once a month at the Gulfport Casino. The music takes us back to our tern years and school dances!

The LEADS fundraiser was spectacular. The venue is on the water (need I say more.) Its surrounded by other delectable and entertaining businesses. The only concern about the facility was the restroom was out-of-order. Adults eating and drinking makes that a necessity. I would give them another visit.

Attended a private function. Really spacious place. It was done up for the event but could tell it was a exciting clean place.

We meet here on a regular basis and the food is good the service is great and the prices are very reasonable.

Fun little Beach town that is so easily accessible from St Petersburg. Fun shops, live music and drinks and lovely views of the bay. If you want an amazing swimming experience go elsewhere.

Great community. I recommend staying at an Airbnb for a few days to really appreciate all this great town has to offer. Bring a bike.

This is a very womderful place. The Tuesday Market, The Pier, The Casino......and lots of friendly, unique people. Theres alway a great breeze coming from the water. And the feel of old Florida. A gem that many do not realize is in their backyard. The main street runs right down to the water. Sunsets fab. Love it.

There is no better place! We just had our wedding here and the staff were phenomenal! Everything was perfect and the venue is absolutely beautiful! Justin who is in charge at gulfport ballroom and casino is extremely knowledgable and extremely helpful with everything we needed!

Location was great for the wedding I attended. However, the lighting needs to be better where they have the food set up at, (especially in the evening). The staff needs to wear gloves while serving and warmers need to be under the food to keep it warm.

Ran into some old friends & signed up for a couple of writing workshops at the Peace Love Pride festivals. Live music!! Very festive in Gulfport today!

Love this place, reminds me of the late 70s early 80s. Friday and Saturday night is festive along the beach. Many business are locally owned.The beach is well care for and a pleasure to visit.People are friendly and you dog is welcome.

Downtown Gulfport is a little bit of old Florida. Quant diverse stores and some good restaurants and bars.

Very cute nostalgic venue, slightly run down but I think it is part of the charm. The location is perfect and looks out over the water with boats and a city scape across the bay.

Cute Beach area. I find it rather small to be call a city, its more like a development. A place to get away for 2 to 3 days from the rat race.

Beautiful nostalgic building, food was delicious, parking plenty and great selection of shops,restaurants and sandy beach to stroll along.

Had a ball in Old Gulfport. The city has done a magnificent job maintaining the building against all odds.

I so miss living in Gulfport... Went for the 4th of July and had a blast...

City of Gulfport Ballroom is beautiful fun place to go to dance or go to learn how to dance.The Impacts 50/60s band was playing there last Friday night. What a great band. Our Original 50s Rockers Dance group always enjoy a night out when they are playing. They will be back next fall.

Always loved the little city of Gulfport and was blessed with spending my Summers and weekends there. Still has that small town feeling.

I love this place: great location, romantic waterfront setting, with w. wrap-around deck, beautiful sunset view, good parking. Theres a number of opportunities for weekly dance (including lessons). For years, it’s been an excellent site for our organizations annual Holiday party because theres a stage, dance floor, bar, ample seating, good-sized kitchen, all clean; AND above all, very reasonable rates!
