Beautiful state forest has many many attractions just make sure you visit it with the help of local resident or guide. It is a very extensive forest . Limited facilities but there are camping areas.

I didnt get to go to the bosque (forest) I went to the part where the food, board walk and kids park are. Very nice. Beautiful scenery.

Its a wonderful place to visit

Great for a hike. Close to home, it have several trails to walk. It leads to the beach, which is not crowded. Just be mindful if you have kids.Bring water and please take your trash with you.

Is beautiful, but is not that clean, not the water, but in the sand have a lot of seaweed, is not a problem but if you want to sit down well you cant

The place is basically abandoned. Walkway is broken and a prohibited sign is out front. The area was dry and full of dead fish and dead iguana. I assume the fish died when the area dried up, no idea why so many dead iguana.
