I moved here in June 2019 after taking several months to look around Groton, New London, and Watertown. The staff are amazing, the maintenance is on point and fast, the emergency services are lightening fast. I have not seen one bug in my apartment and as soon as there was a beetle in the hallway pest control was here that week! I pay a higher rent for my two cats and upgraded amenities and I love it. They JUST ADDED a playground and my neighbors are nice! I walk around with my kids when our larger mail goes to the leasing office and everyone is nice! I work next door at Pfizer and many other neighbors do too. This place is amazing. I do sometimes wish I could have a dog but then there would be poop to clean so I get that no dogs but like I said I have 2 cats to make up for it! No cigarette butts on the ground, no poop around, I walk outside barefoot without worries.

Moved in 2 years ago, maintenance appts are pretty fast & I always get kelvin. Hes really nice & always goes above and beyond to make sure everythings taken care of before walking out the door. The front office responds quick to my needs & is upfront about any additional fees. I really like it here, my neighbors are friendly.

This is the worst place to live in groton,CT. They get -5.They are so freaking unprofessional. They have no respect for their residents. They dont know how to talk to you and they will do anything to make more money off of you. Please do your research and read reviews on this place before you move in. Thats the mistake I made. They have been harassing me and making me uncomfortable in my own home that Im paying for. I have no desire to renew anything with them. They threaten to report me to the creditors because I dont want to pay them extra money after my lease is up. The property manager is unreal. I hate this place and Im making it my duty to let people not experience what Ive experienced. I dont wish it on my worse enemy. They over price these trashy apartments and fine you with unnecessary fines.

Great apartment with reasonable rent. Very spacious houses in a beautiful neighborhood. Cons - dogs not allowed, longer lease period.

Groton Estates: A great safe place to live, with great apartments with affordable rent, great management, great maintenance staff and great neighbors!My name is Tony Sutton, my wife and I lived at Groton Estates from June 2012 until May 2018.Our overall experience was great !The 1st things I was impressed with were the clean remodeled apartments with energy efficient windows, fire safety equipment, square footage, the quick responsiveness and professionalism of the maintenance staff.At 1st there was an issue with snow removal but the new management team streamlined an efficient process outlined in communications to tenants and hired responsive contractors with the correct amount of workers to handle a facility of this size. So problem solved!The management staff was always friendly, quickly answered questions and addressed issues. Even provided a safe place in their office to have packages delivered which prevented theft. Also management kept tenants informed of general evenrs or policies, scheduled inpections, fire and pest control thru notices placed under our doors and by emails.In related matters of safety from criminal elements, management had a lock installed on our rear entry door at my fellow tenants request. This showed great care and concern.In my experience Groton Estates attracts great family oriented tenants, all of whom I have a great neighborly relationships with, some I became great friends with, but overall mutual respect and common courtesy was a mainstay even as neighbors come and go.I would recommend Groton Estates as a great safe place to live, with great apartments with affordable rent, great management, great maintenance staff and great neighbors, plus located near I95, local shopping centers, police station, town hall, grade schools and college, public park and beach.Thanks again to everyone on the Groton Estates Team for an great living experience !Have a great life and God bless you all and your families!Sincerely,Tony A. This is become the worst place after new management. They have changed all the policies and now charging everything to resident even for small maintenance request.I stayed here for almost 4 years as it was near to Pfizer but I vacated after unfriendly management and policies.And you know , they charged me for Carpet and cleaning ( I used professional carpet cleaner before giving back apartment). They will not return your deposit, apply all false charges and talk very rudely if you ask any questions.Please stay away from this place .

Groton Estates is a poorly managed apartment community. Repairs are not made in a timely manner, management is hostile to the point that they make false allegations to the police, and maietance enters whenever they feel like it.

Its great and all but the rent is expensive so be careful people, rent can go up to 1,000 dollars if you stay for one year thats bad
