DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!! I BOUGHT A BROKEN ITEM FROM HERE YESTERDAY AND TRIED TO RETURN AN HOUR LATER AND WAS TOLD TO COME BACK IN THE MORNING TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER. NEXT DAY, MANAGER SAYS CAN NOT RETURN OR GET MONEY BACK, HAVE TO CONTACT MANUFACTUER EVEN THOUGH THEY JUST SOLD ME THE BROKEN MERCHANDISE. SINCE THEY SAY THEY CANNOT OPEN ANY PRODUCTS TO TEST, EVEN THOUGH MOST ADULT STORES DO LIKE VIP ON THE BOSTON POST ROAD IN ORANGE, (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) THEN THERES NO WAY OF TELLING IF YOURE BUYING A BROKEN ITEM OR NOT WHEN PURCHASING FROM AMAZING INTIMATE ESSENTIALS IN GROTON, CT.

I came to the store at 9pm and there was a sign on the door that said be back in 5 min. Which was totally cool until I sat outside for 20 min, and the store closes at 10. I started knocking on the door and calling and this woman comes and opens the door with an awful attitude. I proceeded to tell her that I was there for 20 min and she told me, verbatim, “I don’t believe you were here for that long and I was cleaning the back and were ABSOLUTELY allowed to close the store” her attitude baffled me. I work in customer service and no way would I close my store an HOUR before closing time and then treat my customers like garbage when they were waiting.And then 4 other customers came in! Imagine the business she would’ve lost!Anyway, I won’t be going back there to be treated like that again, I would advise to take your money elsewhere!
