The whole experience at this salon is always lovely. The ladies are incredibly nice, provide realistic feedback about a desired hairstyle, and are willing to cut one inch away at a time if youre nervous about a shorter cut There are massage chairs to sit in while they wash your hair, and they always provide an amazing scalp massage during the wash. You can get a hot towel on your face post wash as well, and you just end up feeling great when you leave! Definitely my favorite hair salon in Greenwood.

It is a great experience. They care about you as a person and not just a salon. When you get your hair washed they give you a head and neck massage with a hot towel on your face....wonderful. When you get color you get a hand wax job done while your hair is processing. Its always a great experience. Everyone there is wonderful. Teresa does my hair and Ive watched the rest of them work and they all are great.

I am visiting from out of town and needed to get my hair done. I told Amber exactly what I was looking for and she came through with an amazing cut and color. I couldnt be happier with the way the color came out. Pricing was comparable to other areas Ive been in. Ill be back next time Im in town!

I get my hair cut regularly by Teresa, owner of Modern Styles Salon. Am always pleased by the cut, whether it is a super short summer cut or a longer version for the winter. She has a wonderful group of stylists that she mentors, molding them into to conscientious confident employees. I am always greeted as soon as I enter the shop. They make sure I am comfortable, offering a water or coffee if I have to wait for Teresa to take care of me. The shop is clean and well organized.Teresa enjoys when I want her to experiment with my hair to have a color accent for a birthday celebration....purple is the way to go! **Update** just got Teal color added this time!I heartily recommend Modern Styles Salon, a friendly place to be pampered and styled. Have recommended Teresa to my friends and neighbors!

Moving from New York wasnt hard at all. I love it here! It was hard to find someone who could work with my hair like I was used to! Heather is so sweet, professional, warm, accommodating and talented. Service at the salon is fantastic. Hardly ever a wait time with an appointment, always good conversation!will never go anywhere else!

I love coming here to get my hair done. Teresa does an excellent job of keeping my hair healthy and beautiful. Very helpful with styling tips and haircare. Reasonable prices. Hand treatment and massaging chair while getting a shampoo adds to the relaxing atmosphere.

Since my first appointment, Ive been impressed by the professionalism at Modern Styles Salon! Everyone is welcoming and friendly, and Nancy does an excellent job with my hair. I look forward to the complimentary head and neck massage as well as the paraffin hand treatment.

Great staff! I was a last minute work in and it was not easy to find someone on such short notice! Nancy did my hair and she did a phenomenal job! I have very very thick hair (took about 5+ hours and its mid back length) and paid $180 (ish) for (grey coverage) highlights and lowlights, not including tip. Im not a chatty person and Nancy seemed fine with that, which put me at ease.The only negative for me was when I called back to have my roots touched up they said it would be $90+. I dont feel I should have to pay over half of what my entire head cost to color, for just my roots. I understand they have a business to run, that just seemed a bit too much to spend on a root touch up so I ended up going to a friend who is a hairdresser to have it done. If it werent for that I would have given them an over the top review!

I have been coming here for a few years now. Teresa does a wonderful job but I would trust any of the stylists here!

My daughter wanted to get her done for her Birthday today. She called several salons including this one for prices. She had tgeme on speaker phone. And the lady that answered the phone told her it would be $15 for the cut and $40 for the style of color she wants. So i told her thats a great price you should do it! My daughter was humiliated! The lady started the job then tells the. Its $180!!!!! She has hair dye all over her face and neck!!! Her ears.. I was at work when she. Went .. But no way would i havelet her pay for getting her hair done and leaving with dye all over her like this. No way would that lady have been paid a $180 when she told her it would be $55!!!! I would hsve had her aunt do it for a lot less!! But she wanted the salon treatment for her birthday! !!! This is ridiculous! !!!

Teresa always is current in all aspects of her profession. I appreciate that she is courteous and accommodating. Modern Styles Salon is the best!

Rebecca at Modern Styles greets me with a geniune smile and a sweet attitude. She is always willing to help me grow into a new style, try different products and avenues to get me where I want to be with my hair. The salon is conveniently located close to numerous types of stores as Im coming and going from my appointment. They are great to work around my class schedule and make sure I am not rushed. I strongly recommend that anyone give their services a spin! :)
