4 stars considering cost and conditioning. Low lying property that floods with torrential rains. That said, 18 holes w cart was a very reasonable $27. Greens were smooth and very puttable. Good value here.

This course is in great shape. Greens are on the fast side and has slope. Its a great course but its one that just kicks my rear end lol. Its worth your time and money to play. Good luck and have fun.

Super nice course & unique layout. Drove up from Soda City & man it was worth the trip. I play a decent amount of golf in the Midlands & the conditions were better than most courses in the area. AND, their greens were spectacular - great shape & true rolling w nice, challenging undulations . Highly recommend adding this course to your list of places to playSuper convenient too.

The course is very accommodating and customer focused. They went out of their way to honor the tee time I made through Golf Now, even though they had opted not to renew their agreement with that service. The course itself was the right balance of challenge and forgiveness to make the rounds highly enjoyable. Definitely top notch.

Beautiful course with a fun layout. The greens are relatively small which is good and bad at times depending on how well you hit the GIR.Greens are punched and sanded currently. It looked like they were punched Friday or Saturday which seems odd to do right before the weekend. Im also not a golf course superintendent nor do I know their schedule...

I’m giving this 1 star because I booked a tee time and I realize once I get there, they do not space out tee times at all. You are back to back to back to back. I was waiting on the first hole to tee off for 30 minutes because there was about 3 groups also waiting to tee off. Once I get on the course I am waiting for about 5-10 minutes on each and every shot for the group in front of me. Each tee box had 2-3 groups waiting on another group. The course was far far too crowded. They clearly don’t care about the players and just want to fit in as many tee times as possible. I left after 11 holes because it was taking far too long. The front 9 took, and I kid you not, over 3 hours to play!! 3 hours!! 18 would of taken a total of 7 hours to play. Wasted $35. It’s a real shame.

The greens were aerated. I know that every course does this at some point in the summer. With that being said the fairways were well kept. This isnt a 5 star. Its definitely a fun course though. Few things could be improved but overall a good time and met some cool people. Id rate it a B-

Legacy Pines, or Legs as we call it, is solid. When the greens are at their best, they are some of the best around when it comes to public courses in the upstate. They tend to pack the course so at times you might have to wait. The course overall is lots of fun. Relatively inexpensive to ride as well.

Great course to play for cheaper than usual rates. Sometimes the course can get slightly backed up but very enjoyable to go to. Also affordable prices at their pro shop and bar/grill. Driving range is in good shape.

We went here for footgolf. It’s a great course, different from others that I’ve played because the footgolf is separate from the golf course. Holes are creatively designed, especially the first hole with the elevated “green.”

Nice golf club. The surrounding area is very and the 18 holes take you amongst several wooded areas. Nice mix of holes. The difficulty level is quote high bit this seems to come for the distance of the holes rather than hazards. That being said there are several holes with water and sand traps. My only really criticism is that he cart I had was a little dodgy and the greens werent the best even though I visited I the middle of summer. Too many aeration holes making putting a nightmare. Overall though I would go again.

What a GREAT course! It is a hidden treasure! Little hard to get to...man what a fun round! The fairways roll, the greens are true (and green) and finished 18 holes in just over 2.5 hours. The only problem with the course is need to have more yardage markers. I do not carry a laser so I had to guess a few times. Everyone needs to play here. Really good time!

Greens were very slow either putting or chipping. They were also very bumpy. Thought this type grass on greens could be kept fast even during warm weather.

Staff was excellent. Sadly too many people with limited skills.play on Sunday and arent aware of etiquette. The 2 hours and 40 minutes to play 9 holes was a bit much especially when holes are open 3 groups ahead

Wow! This was the first golf course I played when I moved to Greenville in 2014. This course has turned around after new management and is easily my favorite course right now. The owners have poured a lot of love and care back into the course and it is playing like it.The course is challenging, but fun, with a good amount of hills and dog legs. Greens are in great shape and are rolling smooth. The par 3s are pretty long, so it is nice to have a little bit of a challenge than the normal 130-160 par 3s. The course is hard to walk due to all the hills, so I would recommend using a golf cart.My only complaint, that day as I cannot speak to it overall, was some of the golfers. Guys coming out in athletic shorts, no collard shirts, playing music loud, and big groups greater than 4. If they can start enforcing standard golf etiquette and rules it has a chance to be really special.I am glad I came back out and was blown away. Great job guys!

The course is so good, especially for the price. Played for the first time today (on sanded greens) and I will definitely be returning. The terrain that this course sits on is fantastic and there are many elevation changes that make every shot fun. It actually reminded me of Pinehurst area courses at times. Go play this course!!

The greens have recently been punched, and they were very inconsistent. Hope to play this course again when the greens have recovered.

Ro
Review №44

Not a very good deal. The greens have been aerated and theyre covered with sand. The back 9 was closed so we had to play the front 9 twice and we were still charged the full rate of $27. Be aware that if you want to ride in a cart by yourself for social distancing youll pay an extra $16 which makes it outrageous.
