The manager was so rude today. I had no mask on. He came over to me an stated his stores policy about wearing a mask, which I can appreciate...he was just doing his job. However when I told him I couldnt wear a mask due to breathing problems, that was not acceptable. He said I had to wear one. I said well would you prefer I leave...he said yes. I will never patron that store again.

Horrible service. Never buy ANYTHING from this Greenville store. No warranty on a defunct shaft that clearly was defective (the wall lining on the inside was clearly thinner in random areas than the rest of the shaft lining).I spoke with a representative on the phone who said they would replace the shaft no problem. Upon taking it in I was met with an absolutely unenthusiastic/and useless service person who clearly did not want to do any work on a Saturday. He made plenty of excuses as to why he would not be able to fix it. Essentially he convinced me to never give Golf Galaxy another dime. This has been the second time they have ripped me off on a scenario with club repair. I paid 45 bucks for a 5 dollar epoxy repair and was charged for labor aka.... nothing but watching epoxy dry!!

Walked in at 10 o’clock when they opened to buy a new driver wanted to test two different ones to see which one I want it. Walked out at 10:31 without a single person speaking to me as I stood at the service desk and the demo booths. Maybe it’s because it’s a golf store and I’m covered in tattoos or their service just sucks either way horrible experience.Will never be back again.

Got my putter re-griped, and while I was waiting, found a reasonably priced M2 hybrid. To make sure the M2 was satisfactory, they let me hit balls with it on the simulator!The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The grip for the putter made a substantial difference, likewise the M2 was a huge improvement over my previous hybrid. Would recommend.

Yea umm I literally bought my first driver a m6 Saturday and went to Topgolf and the first few swings sounded like the shaft was cracking. Very disappointed and $350 out the window. Of course I can get a new shaft but not here.

If youre a golfer, this place is a paradise... but WHY DO YOU GUYS NOT ALLOW FREE SIMULATORS ANYMORE???? Makes me so mad BC I was able to test clubs out and I know what I liked, so I bought clubs and upgraded all the time.

Went and got fitted yesterday disappointed that I was just pushed the lastest and greatest instead of fitting me on a budget like I asked ordered the irons so I could get my 80$ back but from now on I will get fitted by a local golf pro not pushing any products

Went to golf Galaxy in Greenville today got there late just before 5 still open.started looking at clubs a man otapproach and said I need to make a appt.to be fitted I said I dont want to be fitted I just wanted to look at some clubs and then he reminded me we close at exactly 5 it is super bowl Sunday andy wife said so you wont to hurry and he said well I was trying to be nice about it but whatever she said is right wont go back !!!!

I went in on a Saturday afternoon. The store was moderately busy. After browsing I asked an employee a question and he opened up a hitting bay for me. I had no fewer than three employees ask me if I need anything as I browsed through the clubs. I wasnt looking for help, but I didnt feel like I was ignored if I wanted any. Good selection of products and helpful enough for me.

If I could give 10 stars to Ed Overstreet for all his help with my fitting, I would. Ed was very patient with this rookie golfer, explaining everything to me, helping me with selection, and keeping me under my limited budget. I very much appreciate all of his help. Mike Tadie

Went into the store to get my clubs fitted, I asked how much it is, with an attitude the employee said i was then told they didnt need to servemy kind and was called the N wide before i was told to get out. I called the manager of the store as and he laughed it off like it was nothing. Do not give these racists your money.

Went in for club fitting and was a bad experience. Was treated like I wasn’t worth the time of day even though I had an appointment. Asked to have everything I was told I needed priced out and that seemed to upset them. Would take weeks to do anything to my clubs apparently before I could even use them. Left paying 80$ for that experience and didn’t even have anything done to my clubs.If you are a scratch golfer this may be the place for you, anything less and you may not like how you are treated.

Horrible. No clue who was an employee and who wasnt. Did get greeted at the door by a friendly whats up man? by someone. Interested in making my first purchase on a set of clubs, bag, shoes etc... $$$ but no one offered any assistance. Walked around the store from one end and then back with no one asking if I needed anything. I dont mean to seem childish, but come on, help a newcomer out; let alone a paying customer. You just lost out on a seemingly easy 2k-3k order and a repeat customer. Damn, golf is a hard sport to get assistance with. Just my opinion, I wont be back. Do not expect car salesmen mentality, but a simple opening conversation to ask for any guidance would had been nice. Should have read previous reviews. Oh well, on to the next store.

Need to work on customer service. Came from Travelers Rest to pick up a ping shaft that I had ordered. Ask the man to put it on for me his answer all you got to do is screw it on. Well smart A I knew that but thought some customer service would be nice since the prices are high as anyone. This man never wants to work with anyone unless there a scratch golfer. Guess he cant get a job as a golf pro. After all this the gentleman up front offered to put the shaft on for me . Thank you sir but I will never step foot in Golf Galaxy again. Sure do miss Nevada Bobs.

Due to my daughters shoe size, finding her golf cleats are not easy. Took her here as a last resort. Between my daughter trying on cleats and browsing we spent about 30 minutes in the store. Within that time not one employee offered to help. They just stood around watching golf on tv or hung out chatting at the register. While we did find some cleats she liked, the customer service was horrible. Definitely dont think they are worth battling the traffic to shop here.

8/26/16. I love this store. Every day I get off school this is where I go. The staff is great and friendly. Wont just tell you something to get you to buy. They give you their honest opinion. I highly recommend this store to friends and family! Every time I come in someone greets me as if I they have never seen me before. I was looking at a set of irons and one staff personnel came over and started to help me. We disscused cost and what it would be versus other ways of getting the custom options I wanted. He knew prices and specs of everything. I

I had a great experience at Golf Galaxy! Because I read these reviews I had quite a bit of apprehension about visiting the store. Not only did the staff do a great job of helping me figure out what clubs to purchase, they spent almost 2 hours with me answering my questions and addressing my concerns. They will have my business from now on.

I called 1.5 hours out from Charlotte last Friday afternoon on my way home to Sunset, SC. I was hoping to get fitted for new grips on my Ping driver and two fairway woods. The person who answered the phone said the fellow who gripped clubs had been very busy but would be able to help me on my arrival. I was on time, the entire staff was very helpful and they took time to ensure an accurate fit, my new grips are perfect and I really appreciate the professional attention.I will be back!

The inventory was good, however have visited the store twice in the last two weeks. On both occasions I walked around for about 10 minutes, stopping several times at an item I was interested in. Not one time did an employee notice me or ask me if I needed help. I will buy golf balls elsewhere and buy other golf items on line.

This Golf Galaxy location has an excellent selection of clubs and equipment. However, the customer service is horrible, or should I say the lack there of. My wife and I spent 45 minutes in the store and I was never greeted once. Several associates passed by but never spoke. I was there to buy a new driver, the Titleist 917, which is a $400 club. I was undecided about spending that much money and probably could of been influenced by a sales associate. No one ever approached me and I set the club down and walked out with the $400 in my pocket, and not theirs. 2/18/18 from 10:00 - 10:45.

Recently asked to have a 3 wood reshafted and my guy who usually does was unable to. The guy who did it this time completely ruined my 3 wood. When he gave me my 3 wood back it had a gash so deep on the top of the crown all the way from top to bottom. He then proceeded to tell me he didnt know how it got there. They then waited a week to order me a new 3 wood instead of giving me one off the rack. When I received the new 3 wood, it had the complete wrong shaft installed in it I have never been so pissed off and upset with how unprofessional this was handled and will never get a club repair done here again. Absolutely terrible customer service on this issue

Costumer service is so bad. Been in a few times and only once has anyone taken an interest in helping me. I was in there today and it will be my last. Treating your customers like an inconvenience for asking questions is a quick way to run them off.

7/5/16, I went to the gville store to buy a set of irons. Store was not busy as I could see, finally I had to ask for help. I was discussing several sets of irons. Unfortunately the sale man could not answer my cost questions. Finally he said hold your horses and I will ask the pricing person. His response made me feel raw if not just mad. So I bought some gloves and left. As I see other reviews with similar situations made me wonder about this store. I would rather buy local but not from a store/person with a unappreciative attitude. Maybe I will give it a second try, maybe.

This was also my first visit - and my last. I received very poor customer service at this location, which in my case meant NO customer service. We were in the store for nearly 30 minutes, and not a single employee offered to help us. There were obviously plenty of employees in the store, but they seemed to be more interested in chatting than helping customers. I wont be visiting this location again.

Customer service is terrible. Went in to get a new putter grip and came out with nothing. This was due to none of the employees asking me if I needed help. I was in the store for 30 minutes and was passed by 3 different employees and none of them acknowledged me. Will not be going there again.

I read the reviews prior to driving 1 1/2 hours to the Greenville store. Quite a few of them commented on the lack of service or even common courtesy. I took them with a grain of salt until I actually experienced the exact lack of attentiveness.. As soon as I entered the store I saw an abundance of service?? personnel. Some putting, most just talking to one another.. oh and a few attending to stock. No one greeted me, asked if they could help with something or even cast an eye in my direction.. It was as if I wasnt visible. Finally I went up to one and inquired about getting custom fitted for new clubs (the $50 discount coupon time was running out). The reply was that the guy that custom fits the clubs stepped out for a minute.. OK, I waited, and waited, and waited. One would think that the original guy would have asked if he could help me with something else in the mean time,, but no. He had more important discussions to engage in with his fellow employee. Finally I gave up and walked out. Like the others postings,,, they lost out on a fairly large sale and a potentially repeat customer. One has to wonder if the manager or franchise owner reads any of these comments. Perhaps the staffs behavior is what they are taught.

Store manager was very rude. I remember when the customer was always right when I was in sales. We harper on customer satifaction. When you make someone drive an hour and a half to your store then say oh Im sorry we gave you the wrong information. Thats not right and he should have handled it politely and made it right. Ill never buy anything from golf galaxy
