Clubs ok. Needs a bit of better music. Service was good. Probably needs a bit more advertisement. Mostly for people who know, how to dance Hispanic music.

I would love to give Artistika more stars, being new to Greensboro Ive heard several great things about this club and was excited to go.Unfortunately, to my dismay I was stopped at the doorI was with a group of friends meeting another group of friends at Artistika.I just got out of a cast on my ankle and was excited to go out with out crutches or a cast. The doctor told me to wear a brace and shoes that would cover my ankle. Wasnt planning on dancing all too much. I did want the chance to test out how my ankle to see how it was going, but I was just happy to be out with friends. I made a point not to wear sneakers, but nice clean shoes that would protect my ankle.Regardless, I was stopped for my shoes. I explained my situation even showed the door man my brace on my ankle, explained that I had other shoes but I had on the shoes I had because of my ankle.Door man wasnt having any of it.I could tell I was getting no progress with the door man and clearly could see that i was at the point where I was not wanted in the club.Told my friends that were with me to explain to the rest of the group what happened and I left with out a scene.I understand dress codes and clubs, but was really surprised and disappointed with this situation.

Great Place to Dance Latin Music

Friendly, clean and fun.I highly recommend this business, the owners do a great effort to welcome people from different backgrounds, provide an environment full of fun and great music with great drink specials. Their raffles give great gifts, and most of the time from local businesses.I am very grateful for their support to the community, and always trying to be involve on helping others!So, if you feel adventurous and looking for a memorable night, dont hesitate to try it!Also check their Facebook because they are always trying to bring new ideas and dance classes!

Best club ever!! Came here twice and had a great time. The music is great, the DJ sure knows his music! Overall it has a Friendly staff and the club is clean

This was my first time going to a night club, and I decided to take my girlfriend here. The salsa selection was great and there were even beginners classes for free for newcomers [n00bs] like me. This club does allow people under 21 in, as long as they are marked with a giant X so they are not allowed to purchase alcoholic beverages once inside. They have very friendly staff, and I enjoyed coming here.

Nice place, just a little bit tiny

I had reserved a table for my birthday. I get to the club only to find out my name was not on the list and was told all the tables were taken then I was blamed that I showed up too late to get the table. When I asked for the owner the girl up front lied and said she wasnt there. Then the bald headed bouncer said she was. He came back and said the only thing they could do was let me in for free when originally I was promised a table and a friend to get in free. Terrible service, I am very disappointed Ive been going there for years but never again.

Attention: NO BLACKS ALLOWEDIts all good until the manager or staff see that ur BLACK. Especially the old bald headed manager . RACIAL PROFILING is definitely at This establishment. Turn blacks away before we even get in the door, myself included (twice). Not to mention I have observed them do it multiple times to people that have on the same clothes as the Spanish people. So if u want to get RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED against go to artisikas

I asked the Security guard if I can make a request because I wanted to hear Bachata. He said we had to ask the DJ but the manager doesn’t like Bachata so they don’t play it . I went and asked the DJ and he said the manager doesn’t like Bachata so he doesn’t play it. Smh. The Bartenders are slowwwwwew and lack customer skills... definitely will not go back.

This place has nice music and friendly people. I liked the inside as well clean and neat. The only thing I would suggest to change is the front door security checking I.Ds theres no need to be rude if people arent doing anything not to mention being a smartass and theres only one bar so they need at least 1 more for all the people in there. Expect to wait at least 15 mins for a cocktail.

0 Stars!!! I’ve gone to this club for years until last Saturday and that will be the last time I will ever go back! I knew the owner and workers well and I had reserved a table for my birthday! When we arrive the bouncer stopped my brother from going in because of his shoes! I understand there’s is a dress code but his shoes weren’t sneakers, plus he hardly goes and didn’t know what shoes were acceptable.. he was only there for me. They know us well for years. The bouncer Steve was nasty and had the most horrible attitude and thought he owned the place! I asked to speak with The owner and (bald guy + bouncer) they lied straight to my face saying she wasn’t even here! Which was a lie because first I saw her walking in and second she posted pics on fb of that night! I follow her on social media plus I thought we were all friends but I guess that didnt matter. I already showed my ID and wanted to go inside myself to ask her if she would make an exception just this time after all we’ve given so much business plus the friendship. The bouncer still didn’t let me in. It was my birthday and my friends and family were with me waiting and we had to LEAVE! My plans where ruined and I was so embarrassed! I messaged the owner and nothing either! Discusting, disrespectful and so unclassy. They’ve known us for years and know we’ve never caused problems. I will never be returning! It wasn’t so much because they didn’t let us in bc of the shoes but because there should be some sort of respect and loyalty to regular customers! I felt insulted and hurt to say the least!

This is a good club. But I came here a second time. And I was denied access because I had a t shirt. The bouncer told me I looked like a cholo. Ok. I wasnt wearing a baggy shirt that hanged down to my knees. And pants that were baggy. But in his damn head, I looked like a gang banger. I guess I should of put a suit on. thats ok. My money is good else were.

Their salsa dancing and music selection is second to none.

After standing out in the cold for almost half an hour we finally get to the front to be let in and my fiancé was singled out about his shoes even tho several people had walked in with the exact same shoes on and they werent even labeled on the dress code! They are strict about no timberlands and work boots but a man was allowed in wearing those! We also had three people in our group including myself who were all wearing the type of shoes that my fiancé was wearing. The man at the door looked at all of our shoes several times as we were waiting at the front and never once said anything to us. When it was time for us to go in he looked at our shoes again and STILL only told my fiancé that he couldnt come in. I dont know if it was Bc he was white and had never been there before or he just had a problem with him but we will be taking our money elsewhere from now on.
