I went to see five finger death punch, three days grace and bad wolfs. It was an amazing show and a massive stadium. Food was good, but as you could probably expect from any colossium, it was a bit pricey. Parking was outrageous. $20 per car! If you go to an event bring cash and plenty of it. On the brighter side. The bathrooms were all SPOTLESS, i was impressed.

One of my favorite coliseums for concerts. I like the great concert performers that come here. To me, they offer some of the best large concerts/acts in the state of NC and its pretty much centrally located in the middle of the state. Greensboro is a pretty convenient location for the state and the traffic isnt as bad as other larger NC cities such as Raleigh and Charlotte. There are lots of hotels in the vicinity also in case you want to stay the night of the show near the coliseum. Theres lots of parking for the coliseum as well. Ive always had great experience with the staff/security here who are very helpful to anyone trying to find their section and their seats. When purchasing tickets, they are also very good at letting you know at the time of purchase if the seats are in an obstructed view area. I recommend this coliseum for concerts.

This complex has grown which is great but parking becomes a nightmare when the main coliseum has a big event and one of the smaller venues also has something going on. They have started to bring some big name artist and shows, prices are reasonable, parking fluctuates depending on event. This should be a straight $5 if you ask me. The NBA G-League Swarm team plays in the annex. This is a great place to watch Basketball’s raising stars and ex college players. Every seat in the house has a great view and tickets are very affordable.

Just a reminder Im a disabled reviewer - this venue gets a lot of big artists, is a great venue generally because of the different spaces. My seats were terrible, but that was partially my fault. But putting ADA seats(just extra chairs lined up) in the back row of a section right in front of the doors where people are going in and out the whole time is not ideal. It is a GIANT maze, even abled people have a hard time getting around. But they do have public wheelchairs if people need them to get to their seats. The staff is very helpful and are happy to help, which you dont always see.- Disabled people deserve better. ADA law requires for disabled people to have a place to sit etc, but they dont require them to be good. This coliseum just puts chairs in the back rows of sections. There should be seats in the front of the sections or a section in between, anything better than what I saw & experienced - My view was blocked when the people in front of me stood and I couldnt. That shouldnt happen. I couldnt even tell online that my seats were way under an overhang, I was extremely claustrophobic.

The complex for basketball was small, but descent for a what it is used for. The first row should be raised, as everyone walks in front of you and interrupts you watching the game. The employees were very nice and friendly. There wasnt a lot of food options, and seemed to only include pizza and fried chicken.

Very big coliseum. I enjoyed myself. Although I would recommend that you arrive a little early due to the fact that some concert goers do not care who’s seat they sit in so go early to avoid a confrontation. I think the building needs to enforce those rules because if I paid almost $100 for my seats, I want to sit in those seats and not have someone who paid $20 go and steal it.

Went there for 2019 Super 32s . Parking rates were only 5 dollars for all day parking and you could come and go. Seems parking rates are influenced by the event itself. In this case the tournament director must have negotiated lower rates for the wrestling families. Typical big venue food. Staff were courteous and there was lots of space...Good Venue with lots of business and hotels close by

The complex was clean, well maintained, and had an obvious security presence. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sound setup was great and nearly every seat has a good view of the stage. The downside is the same as most larger venues... can be difficult to get in and out, snack and drink costs are on the pricey side, seats are somewhat comfortable and definitely packed too closely together, paid parking is expensive, and the traffic afterwards can be a real pain. Not a bad place to catch a show if you have the patience to endure all the nuisance that comes with it.

My brother and I took my two kids to see the Foo Fighters and we were on the railing for the entire show. The crew was nice and talked to us during break and intervals. They realized that the kids were getting tired (FF played for about 3.5 hours) and brought them a bottle of water. Also, they got picks and set lists from the band and gave them to them. They really helped make the night that much more memorable for my kids. The only downside was the lengthy amount of time to get out of the parking lot, but with the location, I believe they did a pretty good job.

Your standard arena for big concerts and shows.I have seen a number of acts here over the years - Van Halen and Paul McCarntney to name two in partic-ular.Your experience here depends on your seat and what you paid for it.Parking is close but you pay through the nose for it. Concessions are the same. Luckily we dont drink, but even water is $4 to $5 a bottle.Sound is ok, but again it depends on your seat.

Parking is horrible for big events, and expensive. Make sure to bring the $20 in cash. Plan for an hour to get into the lot and an hour to get out. Even on smaller events like the home show you have to pay $5 for parking but at least you can get and out quickly. The gates for big events are the second nightmare. They open late, it takes forever to get through and people get very impatient in line. The food court inside is all fried food but fortunately not as pricey as some other venues. And per usual, bathrooms for women have long lines. The seats are horribly tiny, my husband spent one concert with a tall mans knees in his back the entire time. The nosebleed section is crazy far from the stage and in my opinion not worth the money for events. Theres no hope of seeing anything clearly on the stage.

I have never been more unhappy with a venue. My friend, boyfriend, and me arrived for the Tyler, The Creator concert around 11:30. The staff numbered us and we were 34,35, and 36. After waiting hours, they started lining the first 100 up in their number order around 4. When the doors opened at 5:30 the people behind the first 100 rushed in front of the line. There were two sets of double doors, but only one side of one set was open. As my boyfriend and I were being rushed he tripped over a barricade that was on the right side of the door. I was shoved into in and my right ankle got stuck in it. As this happened my head was slammed against the door, while my left leg was wrapped around the other side of the door. People were running by my leg and falling on top of me. I began to cry and scream hysterically for help. After finally finding a way to get up somehow we rushed through the metal detector and waited with the other hundreds of people, slammed against the gate door (the gate opened up like a garage door). When the gate opened people sprinted and pushed each other as expected. I was pushed down, hit my head again, and people began to pile and stomp on top of me. My entire body was covered and being trampled over. During this, I was also screaming and crying hysterically for help. Being only 5 feet tall and 120 pounds it is very easy for people to trample right through me. My boyfriend and 2 other kind men attending the concert were able to get people off me and drag me out from the cluster of people on top of me. I was finally able to run and get a spot on the floor. I am very thankful for the people that helped me, but where was the security? The security outside went inside when the doors open, which was a very crucial time for security. When I screamed for help, no one was there. The security should of been able to help me and the other people struggling to even stand up. The security needed to be better and it was necessary for them to be more strict during this event. I am very thankful to not be seriously injured, but it was very possible that I could of been. I have been to 5 concerts, and none of them have been this hectic. I am aware that insane fans do exist, but it should not have been this disorganized. Greensboro Coliseum Complex should of been more prepared, and lacked a decent security system.
