There is a parking area and large double field for ball games and tennis courts as well. I sat in my car in the parking lot eating take out while watching a family flying a kite on one of the fields. Beacon Field is kept very clean. Beacon Field is also the site for the large annual Greenfield Fourth of July Fireworks display. Many people flock here yearly for the fireworks, food booths, music and social time waiting for the always well worth it fire works display. The event was very much missed with covid 19 restrictions this year.

Nice view from Poets seat Tower. Park within walking distance from my apt. Needs a playground, at least a few swing sets. Cant remember if there are picnic tables. Older people need a place to sit that is not the grass.

The Beacon Field are is very nice. Its a very large green space with two spots Fields. One for football (soccer) and another for baseball / softball. The park has a kids play area and there are also red clay tennis courts. Generally the park is very peaceful. Sometimes it can be a little busy. People like to park in the upper parking area and eat lunch in there cars. The park has three parking areas in all. This is also the park where the town has the 4th of July and winter carnival. Definitely an awesome place to just relax and fly a kite.

My family and I stopped here to view Greenfield fireworks. We have done many of the local firework shows including UMass.I have to say that the Greenfield fireworks take the cake. Field is loaded with vendors including music play into the beginning of the fireworks. The coordination was rather impressive. The best part was they launch the fireworks off the hillside above and at times it almost appeared like they were right above you.We had a great time and the field is a wonderful location.

Nice little park to sit in your car and eat your lunch. Good place to just chill and do nothing. Great for kids with the play structures and the baseball diamond. Essentially a cookie cutter park with a little hill for sledding. Nothing mind blowing but nothing you could hate.Pros:- Structure for kids- Baseball diamond- Tons of parking around in the shade- Trash cans around- Benches around- Hill for sleddingCons:- Fairly small- Not much to do apart from baseball and playing
