This is not the state of the art facility but it is quaint and charming. Bev the owner was very accommodating and pleasant to work with for all the planning and set up and had a basement full of decorations to help cut on costs. Many reasonable caterers to use. Guests loved the relaxed atmosphere and we chose buffet style reception for my Son and daughter in laws wedding. Wonderful to have both wedding and reception in one place. Like an old church with beautiful stained glass windows and refinished wood. An undiscovered Gem in our little hometown of Greenfield and loved that we kept it all local to where they live and our families have so much history. Photos just outside along streets were amazing thanks to 928 Photography. Only reason not 5 stars is night of wedding staff was very late turning the room.. 1hr vs 30 min. likely due to taking family photos under the stained glass windows plus all of my specific room set up requests but there was some staff attitude underlying all night that only Im sure I was aware of..You can go with the flow and have Bev and staff guide and do it all if you want relaxed casual atmosphere this is both beautiful and comfortable just like the town of Greenfield...charming!

We recently had our wedding reception here, and I am so grateful for the wonderful experience we had.One of our fears finding a good reception venue was being able to customize the place without paying extreme fees. With this venue, we were able to chose select our owns beer options (even having a beer tasting event with our own customized glassware), bring in our own DJ, design a doughnut tower for our doughnuts as a desert option, and customize the decorations with our own flavor. We were also able to take advantage of Bevs large collection of glassware, which saved us a large amount of money on decorations and centerpieces.I planned this wedding from Texas, and the owners responded very quickly and helped put together the wedding reception I envisioned. The room is very beautiful and we all had a wonderful time - I wish everything went longer!The Creative Arts and Event Center was a great value and I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking to plan an indoor reception that isnt restricted by the typical caterer/ alcohol/ decoration constraints.
