This stay was ok. There was a large group of families that literally took over the pool and bbq area on Saturday evening, not allowing for any other guests. They were loud, partying, and not respectful of others around them. They were throwing a football into some private yards. We were run out of the pool area the next day as well because they just took over the pool and were obnoxious. There is a new housing development next door that shares the pool. Apparently this weekend partying thing is a regular thing and is not welcomed by the residents. I can see why. We will not stay here again.

Very nice hotel with great staff

I was fortunate enough to have booked the canoa ranch golf resort as my wedding venue. Brian, Danielle, the front office staff as well as engineering and housekeeping were fantastic. We booked the patio out by the lake for our venue. The views of the mountains and lake are stunning. The patio has a bar area you can use along with a barbecue grill, fire place and fire pit. The lighting Brian had installed keeps the patio area very well lit at night. The hotel also helped coordinate with us any and all covid guidelines in place prior to the wedding to ensure our family and friends safety. All of our guests booked the one bedroom suites and were absolutely blown away, some even added an extra day to their stay. The one bedroom suite has a full sized kitchen, a fireplace and a washer dryer in the unit and are extremely spacious. The breakfast is a great inclusion in your stay. Our guests really enjoyed the omelet station. We definitely will be going back!

This place was awesome and the room was very spacious with a big kitchen. Had a fireplace in the front living room, dining area for at least 6-8 people.Bedroom was huge with balcony and patio furniture nice t.v. as well.

Very nice...our suite was fabulous.We had it almost all to ourselves.Loved the heated pool. Restaurant was delectable & what a treat to eat outside on the greens.

The pool could be a lot bigger for being a resort. The room however was really nice and comfortable. The resort was clean and the employees were really friendly.

Had an amazing 3 night stay here! The staff was beyond amazing, the hotel is nice and clean and the pool was open! We spent most of our time at the pool enjoying the Relaxing yet kid friendly atmosphere

Great accommodations, overlooked pool and golf course, all employees were very accommodating and helpful.

Everything was great at first but when we came back from swimming the kids pulled there sheets back to get into bed and they found what looked like blood splatter on the sheets so we called and the lady came up and verified what we saw and immediately gave us a new room, which was fine except they downgraded us from our original room so the next day we went to the front desk lady And spoke with her about it and they accommodated us with a upgrade to a suite which is a very very comfortable set up so all in all it was a nice place to stay we all had a great time and more then likely we will be back again

Nice location, liked the golf course. room was large, needed some attention from peeling paint to shower sliders missing handles. breakfast was from 7-9 got there about 10 minutes before close and they had already closed. was disappointing and just not a lot of attention or care from staff regarding. air conditioning in room was loud resulting in poor sleep. probably makes sense to go with the bigger suites. we were there for a quick overnight so did not do that.

Our first rooms light was flashing...we moved...our second room had long black hair in the shower, the sink hot water faucet handle didnt work ( it spun around) the shower glass door wouldnt move...it was stuck...and the chest between the beds had something sticky on it....someone was sent up and he had to go to the hardware store for a part to fix the faucet handle....

This place looks beautiful but it seems theyll let any kind of riff raft here. I had planned to stay here a week but only stayed 3 because the pool was full of people day and night. The same people at that. They were with car fulls of people and were being extremely loud and careless with vulgar language and inappropriate music. The management did nothing about it and so I wasnt going to waist my money here not to enjoy the facility because thats what it is, not a resort.

Not bad, but the rooms arent totally clean. Balcony was covered with spider webs.

The location is beautiful, and its a very nice, clean facility. The basic rooms do not have a view of the mountains, and no covered parking, unless you rent one of the suits. They do have free breakfast, and theres a lovely restaurant in walking distance for dinner.

My new favorite place to get away. Clean, reasonable rates. Nice people

Seven of us wandered down to Green Valley for a mini golf vacation. We stayed 2 nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff was professional and courteous. The rooms were modern and very clean. My suite had a full kitchen. Breakfast was tasty, hot and served very quickly. I appreciate that we were able to use all of the facilities without having to pay a resort fee. The golf course was in very good shape and challenged the best players in the group but did not intimidate those of that are just hackers. Dollar for dollar this was one of the best hotel values I have had in a long time.

Great stay, great service, very nice King Suite

Front desk staff was helpful and courteous. Property very clean. Golf course restaurant available for take out from 11 to 6. Breakfast in hotel is included and is catered from outside company. Friday morning we could get it to go and take it to our room. Saturday morning there was a sign and we were required to eat downstairs and not take it up to our room. Made no sense.

I stayed here to avoid a DUI after a Christmas party. The room was just over $100 and it was spacious, however the view wasnt great and there was a constant hum outside the door from what I assume was a heat pump or furnace. The hotel could use some updating and maintenance but its not too bad for the area, maybe the nicest place in Green Valley The bed was comfortable. The balcony was dirty and showed signs of water damage around the top. My view was of the copper mine and a dirt lot with dumpsters. There was a flat screen TV with a combination DVD/VHS player. Also an unusually large walk in closet.Breakfast could use some work. The dining area felt cheap, plastic folding tables and chairs on old flooring. Breakfast was cook to order, but bland and definately not fresh. There wasnt much else except some old soft fruit. Voice of drink was coffee and some mystery juice. Thats it.In the end, I avoided a DUI and for the price and location its not bad. Ill stay here again if need be.

Stayed two nights. Room was a little run down, but comfortable. Breakfast was limited, but adequate. Fitness room was enough for a workout. Elevator was the slowest that I have ever used. Price was definitely too high.

Room needed repairs. Could hear the people talking in the adjacent suite. Somebody took the only cart for load out to their room the night before. We came in late the night before and it was gone. Never saw it at 7 the next morning. Had to carry everything out and we had a lot. Not a pleasant experience for nearly $200 a night.

The views are amazing and love the amenities.

Sorry, dont know where to start!! One of our best hotel experiences EVER!! My husband is a retired wide body airline captain, we have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and this place easily rates within the top 5! The property is beautiful, the staff are terrific, the rooms are luxurious, you will NOT regret staying here!!

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite for 5 days. It was awesome!!The rooms were pristine and perfectly clean. While we were there, a pest control tech stopped by to spray. He said the resort has never had any pest problems because they do so much preventative control. That was very comforting.The breakfast was delicious. The amenities were great. The staff was so kind!It was an awesome experience. We will stay here every time we are in town!

Everything was just adequate. Room was a little run down, breakfast was small but had enough choice, and fitness room had enough equipment for a workout. The room price was too high for things being just adequate.

Great value for higher end accommodations!

Checked in this weekend and noticed the resort was about empty. Room was clean but in need of updating as paint worn, walls scratched, caulk around shower door missing and moldy. Went to pool and had to use the strainer before we got in as water loaded with dead bugs. Chaise lounges stained and dirty. After dinner (not at resort as reviews were very bad) my wife was getting ready for bed and noticed a large bodily fluid stain in center of bedspread. Removed bedspread immediately. Our room had a “view” of a wall. So between the dirty pool, body fluid stain, tired room, and having to travel into Green Valley to eat dinner we would definitely not stay here again. We did make Alex aware of our issues at the front desk and he offered to take $8.00 from our bill. Not sure what that amount represented but it seemed odd. Hector at the pool was a great guy. Other than that no more Canoa for us.

People super nice. Breakfast great. Views awesome. Room comfortable. . Pool was ghetto with yellow crime tape, didn’t clean room. Lots of light bulbs out and mismatched. Air conditioner was super loud. Staff made up for the downsides.

I like that the hotel has a refrigerator in the room and that the rooms are a good size. I have stayed at the hotel approximately 4 times in less than a year. The room I checked into this time wasnt as nice as the previous ones. I prefer a top floor so I dont have people walking over my head all night- which that guest did. Mattress was in need of replacing and the faucets in the bathroom needed to be replaced. (Same issue in last room.) Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Do not stay in the rooms that have two queens! they are interior rooms with no windows that look out...they look at an interior walls in an atrium that is basically another room...bizarre. I had to move and I got a suite which was nice..but the whole hotel is not up to par...run down...breakfast you sit on plastic chairs and tables ...everything is cheap and I feel you are paying higher rates ...so what are you paying for? Sorry but they act like they are 4 star and they are 2 star at best.

We like the location as it is convenient to many birdwatching sites. Staff was pleasant, rooms are nice size and comfortable. We always like to have a fridge in the room. This was the third time we had stayed there.

The property is beautiful, but the management needs to be changed.

Desk staff did not have room ready. Advised would call when ready, then never called. Room directly contrary to what was requested. Noisy in room. Literally even though it was the interior with a view of the windows to all the other rooms, zero privacy, you could hear the wind gusting into the room from outside. Just a ridiculously over-priced room and the use of the term resort is insulting as there was nothing offered to guests that makes it a resort. Any other hotel under $100 a night could have offered more than what this hotel charged $182 plus tax for.

Didnt get to stay long enough this time. Cant wait til next time

Beautiful scenery

Bad, bad experience. Took 35 minutes to get a menu. Then took over an hour to get the wrong food. Bacon was burned. Food not hot. Waitresses didnt know how to solve problems. Maybe they will improve as Green Valley needs good restaurants, but I wont go there again

Beautiful Resort! We had a great time in our last weekend getaway there!

Staff is very polite, and try to fix problems if there are any immediately. The rooms are beautiful. The view isnt bad either.

Had a king suite which was very comfortable,well appointed, gas fireplace, very spacious! Very nice! Only downside is that there is no restaurant in the hotel but rather next to it. Has full kitchen with all you need however.Definately a Good spot especially if you golf.

Area and scenery are simply breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious and fully equipped for an extended stay - including appliances, dishes, washer/dryer, etc. This is a golf resort, so if youre looking for a resort to relax poolside with a drink, this is not for you. Only downside is the HV/AC is rather loud (woke me up a couple of times during the night). Other than an entirely new system, not much can be done about that though. The service is excellent - a few hours after I checked in, a gentleman from the front desk called to see if there was anything else I needed, superb.

This is the best place to stay in in Arizona! The staff is so nice and accommodating. I love the views and the mornings beckon you to walk all over the amazing grounds and adjacent golf course.They have a great, huge and full breakfast with omelets made to order! we would eat and take the apples and Danish for snacks. The woman cooking was so sweet and really ran a great breakfast area...it was clean and stocked so you could come and go fast.

Older hotel that is conveniently located near golf course and close enough to Green Valley. The rooms are on the smaller side but have nice balconies connected to an atrium with greenery. The omelettes served for breakfast were delicious.

My wife and I love this place. Its about 2 hours from our home and this is our favorite weekend getaway. We always get a suite. Its bigger and much nicer than almost any timeshare we have stayed in. It is more than twice the size of a normal hotel room. Everything, including kitchen, bathroom, beds and furniture is UPDATED and comfortable! There are granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, stainless steel appliances, separate tub (big) and shower (big) and enclosed toilet. (My wife loves that.)Everyone here is helpful and congenial. The manager, Brian, gets right on top of any issue that comes up. The pool area is really relaxing and beautiful. The landscaping is great and it all looks across a small lake and golf course. Every time we come, I hate to go home again.

Very nice place. They have simple double queen rooms. They also have suites and 2 room suites. They come with a kitchen and a nice balcony. The pool is a great place to cool off and relax. Also habe a golf course. They have free breakfast in the morning that is one of the better ones I have had in awhile. The only con I have is the wall are thin and the people in the room next to me were loud and every noise including just walking around telescope into my room. But over all it was a great stay.

It was very quiet. Check in was so impersonal and only transactional it was a bit upsetting for me. Other than that the house cleaners and rest of the staff were great.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. If you stay here, you may want to have some light bulbs handy. We stayed in a king room and the walk in closet was dark due to the light bulb being out. When I asked for a bulb change, housekeeping, front desk and maintenance all said they didnt have any replacement bulbs. When I asked if they could get one by the next day, they said they didnt know and could not guarantee that I would get one at all during my 6 night stay. I said I would go to Walmart and buy some if they would install and asked for the managers number so I could call and complain. When I went back to my room to call the manager, the front desk called and they just happened to find some bulbs. In all, 5 bulbs were replaced. Maintenance and housekeeping are a joke. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Avoid building 6 and especially room 3601. Will not be back.

My family and I had an awful experience with their breakfast buffet staff. As I waited in line to grab breakfast for my family I watched the kitchen manager be rude to the people inline in front of me and was dreading my turn to order. When she saw the number of breakfast passes I had she became upset and started to yell at me and say that I had too many passes for one individual. I explained to her that my family was sitting at a table and that we all wanted the same thing so I figured it was easier if I just ordered the same for everyone instead of having everyone in line, as the line area was already crowded. My extended family was all there for a wedding so it was easier this way and I didnt see how it was a problem given I had passes for them all. In fact, we had 2 extras. She asked her colleague to go count my family members. Again, what different did it make if I had passes with quantities on them? I explained to her that the front desk gave me the passes as part of our stay and that I didn’t know why she thought there was a problem. Mind you she is not speaking to me, she is yelling at me. After deciding she had no choice she said she would make the omelettes when she wanted to and that I needed to go away and sit down. I told her I waited in line like everyone else and that it was not fair for her to skip my order because it was “too big” and that I was fine waiting there until my order was made. At that point she and her colleague are angry about having to make my order and they both begin to use profanity. Yes, profanity directed at a guest! What kind of place is this? Quite frankly I was in disbelief, I’ve never in my life been treated this poorly at a hotel and certainly never been cursed at by staff or disrespected this way. It cannot get more unprofessional than that and I stay in hotels ~40 nights/yr and this was a first. It was totally unacceptable treatment especially considering we were guests and in no situation is it ever okay to treat someone else this way. I asked for her manager and she stated she was the property manager, which was a lie. She back tracked on it after I went to speak to the front desk personnel. Again we only stayed here because it was the wedding selected hotel, I personally prefer Marriott properties and after this experience we will not be back. It’s a shame because our family really liked the property and was considering it for a family retreat.I didn’t want to leave a bad review without first giving them the opportunity to address the situation and act on my feedback but the on-site personnel did nothing. I was told “sorry” by the contact on site. I also left the property manager (I believe his name is Bryan) a voicemail and never heard back from him.

Golf course has a great layout, great price, great value. Greens are in sad shape right now, but that will improve.

Great rooms great staff and great cooks for breakfast

Lovely check in experience, very nice rooms, even the basic ones. Only odd thing was the toilet in our room, plumbing must need some attention because it was LOUD when you flushed the lever. Very disruptive, especially at night. Their complimentary breakfast is wonderful though!

We were visiting from Orlando and found this resort by accident. Looks well maintained and has beautiful views. Next time we are in Tucson we will be staying at this hotel.

We come up here every year for a golf outing. And every other year it would have received 5 stars. The room itself was up to par and worth the money, but they all but removed the hospitality. No more breakfast buffet in the morning, now it is about portion control. There use to be a station full of towels out by the pool for guests, now you have to check towels in and out. Instead of putting a card on file and paying when you leave, they charged the full amount up front. They probably deserve less than 4 stars this year.

The standard rooms include loud AC units, but the suites are quite nice. This is my preferred hotel in green valley. The breakfast is unusually good, and has been at least a little different every time I have stayed. My last visit it included omelets made to order.

The Wyndham Canoa Ranch Resort is a wonderful place of rest and relaxation! Its in a beautiful location, with an excellent view of the mountains all around. We were just here for a retreat and had great service. The rooms are impressive and very nice, too!

Wow...great for our girls night away! Enjoyed Tubac shopping, then here to relax, enjoy the pool and huge hot tub...and the night Hawks as they played in the palms and wind above. Beautiful, clean, full kitchen in our 2 bedroom suite. We will be back!

Stayed in a suite. Had an excellent experience. Only gave four stars cause the bathroom sink and shower drains had a temporary bad odor. Also didnt have enough towels for how many beds were in the suite. Breakfast omlets were good and had fast service.

The beds were just replaced while I was there. The suites are good size for travel or small family get away. The summer specials are great.

We were seven golfers and booked three rooms, including a 2 bedroom suite for seven nights. All of us enjoyed our stay at this facility that has great accommodations and wonderful staff. Manager, Brian, went out of his way to make adjustments to our package rates and provided great assistance in getting tee times at our preferred golf course. I expected a lot more from this property. Im not saying it is awful but it packed in various areas. First, I will say the pool area was pleasantly inviting and the staff was friendly, those were the main positives that stuck out. The room was clean though the bathroom needed some astetic repairs. Also the bathroom linens were frayed. There was no microwave in the room. The hotel boasted a hot made to order breakfast but this really just meant a continental breakfast with an omelet station.

Love this hotel. We go there often just to get away. The rooms are great, the pool area is awesome, love the jacuzzi. Really wish that the pool and fireplace area could stay open later than 10pm.

Great rooms. Good facility. Nice people. Modest breakfast offering for such a high-end establishment. Ill still be back.
