I joined this studio in Feb 2017 and have found it to be delightful! The members are not only helpful and friendly, but also truly interested in making sure new members feel welcome and comfortable to ask questions. The facility is well run and stocked, instructional classes are contiually updated, and the more experienced folks have gone out of their way to help those of us who are new. Dont hesitate to join - nothing better than playing with mud and finding your artistic side!
I have had wonderful experiences at the clay studio. People almost always will take time to help others, give ideas, guidance, etc. it is one of my favorite places in Green Valley. I love to be there because the people and the facility are really welcoming and wonderful! Volunteers keep the place running - no small feat.
Even when you are a rank beginner, you are treated respectfully by all the helpful folks here. I loved the Clay 101 class.
I am so disappointed that anyone would write a review and put specific names in their criticism without challenging the people involved about their supposed rude behavior. I would like to speak with Jean Lassiter (whom I have no knowledge of ever meeting) and discuss her problems with the studio in general and me specifically. The clay studio is a wonderful place to be to learn and socialize. It definitely rates 5 stars.
I am so disappointed. One reason I moved to Green Valley was the clay studio. Little did I know that the leadership there(Julie) and members (Ross and Jay) would be so rude and unkind. It is apparent they dont want any new members, the way they treated me and others. There have been a lot of people that have quit going to the studio. Unfortunately thats what they want.
Great people.
