Enclosures were all clean, you can tell that this place really prioritizes husbandry which is the first thing I look for in a reptile store. The products are overpriced but that’s kind of impossible to avoid if you’re selling ZooMed products. I really hope to see somewhere start offering better/cheaper alternatives to ZooMed products. Feeder rodents and insects seemed very healthy. The store in general was very clean, organized, and seemed more aware of the limited amount of space that they have than some of the other reptile stores around northern CO *cough* scales *cough*. The only real reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because the kid working there wasn’t even wearing a mask. Not only is that illegal and unsanitary, it’s just flat out disrespectful to your customers.

Amazing!Clean, well lit, amazing animal loving staff!The first thing I noticed when I walked in, was how clean the store is. Immediately after, I was greeted and welcomed in by the staff. It was my first time in, and I still felt the same way as when I’m welcomed into the home of my friends.After talking to the staff, you learn that they work there because they truly love the animals. I don’t mean they take good care of the animals, I mean they truly love ALL of the animals. While I was there, one staff memeber was cleaning/transferring a spider home and the spider bit him. His reply was “so cute!”.I purchased a bunch of crickets (150) and the staff bagged them in 5 separate bags. This gives them room to move around and breathe. It keeps them alive longer, but also shows the level of care the staff has for ALL the animals, even feeder crickets. I’ve purchased crickets for over a decade and this is the first place Ive ever been to that didn’t just dump all of them into a single bag.Finally, the last thing that really stood out, was the placements all the animal habitats. They are housed in a way that the animals can’t see into neighboring habitats. Reptiles don’t like to see other reptiles. It causes a lot of stress due to predator/pray relations, as well as territorial issues. It’s nice that Wild Things cares more about the animals, than the bottom dollar.Clean. Good staff. Caring staff. Competitive prices. What more can you ask for? Wild Things is about 45 min out of my way there, and 45 min back. There are closer places, but Wild Things is worth the drive because I truly feel they love scaled family as much as I do.

I have 3 boys who are diligently saving up their allowances to buy a snake of their very own. They have been hooked in owning one, ever since they got to hold one, at Wild Things. The friendly staff is very well educated and very passionate about each reptile/creature that they own. They have taken the time to teach my boys something new, each time we go visit, and they even taught my boys how to properly hold and pet each reptile. All the animals in this store look happy and well taken care of, in their own special setups. Clean and organized. When it comes time to buy my boys their snake, I will feel confident in my purchase.

Great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Spent some time talking with them about the snakes and turtles. They seem to be very responsible when it comes to placing the reptiles with perspective homes.

The staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They’re very patient and are happy to answer any questions you have about anything. We’ve bought 3 healthy reptiles from them and they carry everything we need for them, and more. We even go in just to visit the other animals sometimes just because it’s such a pleasant experience every single time!

A great store with great staff. I’ve come here for pet rats and they’ve all been very healthy and happy. They keep their store clean and the staff is so kind. My friend came here to rehome her iguana and an employee offered to rehome him temporarily until she was ready to take him back. Remarkable service. These people really care. Highly recommend!

We saw this new store opened up, so we thought we would stop in and look. They have a nice little selection of reptiles. The manager answered all my questions, and I had a lot. You can tell they love what they do. He mentioned he could order me something that they didnt have, so if you are wanting something and they dont carry it, it would be worth asking. Lets all support our small business community. Check this place out!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. We purchased a crested gecko and it was healthy vibrant and the store had a lot of options for tank set ups. Highly recommend the store to anyone that meets feeders for their reptiles as well as new pets

Holy! I went here today with my family and the people are AMAZING! My mother and I got to hold the Blue Tongue amd it was like- heaven for us! They have so many unique species, and I found out they breed Leechys! So im super excited to come back! 10/10 def recommend this place ️️
