Why the theater and womens bathroom smells like soaked cat urine is beyond me. I highly suggest a better cleaning routine, hospital grade cleaning products, and maybe get the chairs all shampooed. I refuse to return until it smells like a clean movie theater with a delicious aroma of only buttered popcorn. Sorry, not sorry.

Overall we had a good experience buuut the theater was FREEZING so by the time the movie was over I wanted out just so I could thaw out. We even had big jackets and a blanket with us dont get the mozzarella sticks.. not good at all!

Love going to the movies.Theater has seen plenty of ware since new. Remodeling usually means looking at numbers and deciding to close or raise prices exorbitantly. I will sit in the worn-out seats and far too small of restrooms for a little longer. Paying theA Club members monthly fee is the only way to go. As I said, I love the movies...

It has become a self serve place. If i wanted that I would stay home on my couch where it is comfortable. I do like the new food options

Its the only theater in Great Falls. Not a terrible one. Popcorn is good. Prices arent terrible either.

It is sadly the only Movie theater in town. Service has been okay. The best day to go is 5 dollar Tuesday otherwise you pay a lot more than necessary. The price for Popcorn and a drink is expensive. The screens and sound are good and the seats are comfortable.

Im visiting from CO where we have some extraordinary theaters (Dolby Cinema, IMAX, Prime, recliners, etc.), but this was a nice little theater. Very nostalgic, it took me back to my youth. And it was very clean and well maintained.

Great service but the I.D. asking is getting a little out of hand. I get it, kids shouldn’t watch certain movies. But when the ticket people say it’s okay to buy a teenager a rated R ticket, I didn’t expect to get I.D.’d again at the usher booth. Take it easy guys. Our boy can handle it.

We decided to sign up for the AMC Stubs-A List. We were able to add the app on our watches but when we got to the theater the woman said she needed the code because she didn’t have her scanner. We weren’t even going to bring our phones but we did just in case. This is a sign amenity that’s offered, but because our theater is ghetto, she needed the code. The woman also kept correcting us when we were reading the code. She said there was a letter in front, when clearly it’s on her end because the code on our phones don’t have a letter in front. Very poor customer service. I feel if we have the scan bar on our watches or phones then someone at the movie entrance should be able to scan it, instead of getting attitude from someone working the concession. To top it off, we’ve noticed some speakers are blown so the sound sucks, and the chairs have never been updated. They only have a few screens worth watching a movie in, the other ones are ground level, and you might as well go somewhere else. The popcorn is always stale. And like most theaters the pop/popcorn and snacks are ridiculously over priced. If you’re able to try to see your favorite movies in a big city theater where you get basic amenities, quality sound, and reclining leather chairs.

Friendly staff, no sticky floors. Decently priced show tickets. Concessions are pricey, like most movie theaters. My only complaint would be the way they have their soda fountain setup next to the lids and straws. It creates a cluster and a longer wait just to get drinks. Other than that its a decent movie going experience.

Food popcorn and drink was all good but some of the chairs in the theater were falling apart and they werent super comfortable. Top that with sitting there for a 3 hour movie and you get this review.

Normally I like our AMC theater here in Great Falls MT. Unfortunately not tonight. A group of teachers from the Prescool I work at made plans to go see YESTERDAY at the posted 8:20p.m. showing. We arrived at theater and were told showing was canceled. Apparently corporate had told them to show Men in Black instead. NOTHING was changed on the website to give us any heads up. So we left with barely even an apology for the inconvenience.

The best theater in town! The only one too. I am sure that only the best employees work here.

Simply not affordable. I am used to high priced pop and popcorn at the theater but these people have taken it to a whole new level. Nobody even taking money at the ticket booth just a sign hanging up saying to purchase tickets inside. Then we had to wait in the long line at the only open concessions register just to purchase show tickets. Employee is out mopping the main lobby without even putting up a wet floor sign. Pretty low class operation.

1 Pop machine was down. The other didnt have diet coke. And the seats are uncomfortable. But it was a good movie. Great sound system.

So the classic part of the name apparently means old, rundown, and dirty. We were the first movie in this particular theater today and there was old popcorn on the floor from whenever. Theaters charge more and more, but it doesnt look like any of the money is put back I to the facility or keeping the place very clean. Unfortunately its the only theater in town so they can do whatever they want and were at their mercy.

Always a great time. The young lady with the short reddish hair is always the nicest person there.

Thought it would get better since amc took over. Still the same hole. We will keep driving to helena to go to their theater. It only costs about $10 more including gas.

We went to see The Lion King on a Saturday night at 7:00pm. This was the worst theater that we have ever experienced. With the prices so expensive in the theater...one would expect it to at least be clean and well ran. It lacked professionalism from everyone including the kids behind the snack counter to the ticket taker. The seats and movie room were filthy.We will never give them any of our business again. We will just wait until the movies come out on Demand at home. How sad .

Only go when I have to with a group. Still dont understand the costs for popcorn, pop, etc? Talk about expensive. Theater rooms are okay, chairs are starting to feel & show their wear, sound systems at times fades or goes in & out.

One of the worse AMCs I’ve been too. Staff is rude and very impatient. The theater wasn’t clean and the main lobby is out dated and always dirty. Only 3 people visible working. One taking food orders, one making food, one taking tickets. There we about 6 people in line and I waited literally 15 minutes to get a ticket. The employee had to take my phone to put in my Stubbs Acct number. She wants too happy about it either.Get with it. This place continues to suck

A hit or miss experience. They’ve been slowly updating the theater itself and that’s helped immensely but the staff can still be a bummer. Just a month ago I had an employee snap at me for asking a question about my purchase. Turns out they made a mistake and had to refund our money and no apology or compensation was made afterwards. But the pricing and deals for movies are nice so I continue to go. It’s just an average theatre worthy of an average review.

The theater needs an upgrade. Staff is always wonderful, but sometimes the sound is off, or the seats are in need of repair. The facility needs some TLC

This theater has really improved since the recent franchise change. The bathrooms are an especial improvement! Theyre clean for a change. Ive been taking advantage of the $5 tickets on Tuesdays a lot more now that its worth driving across town for. Kudos to the staff who seem to be much happier, friendlier, and eager to serve.

What a sad excuse for a movie theater. Overpriced popcorn that is stale af.go to order hotdogs they run out and look at you like your stupid, when you ask for a refund. I have no clue where the staff learned there customer service skills but could use an update. Seriously overpriced. Use the money your ripping people off on your popcorn to update your 1980s conversion van seats. Your theater smells like a nursing home. Do the employees even know how to push the broom. There walking around with trying to look busy, instead of customer. Worst experience of my life. Sad, sad .

The staff are very nice, but the theater itself is not the best. The film room dont have surround sound so every movie doesnt have the bite it needs. The doors to the rooms are right next to the seating so you hear everyone come and go.AMC needs to show this theater some love because it needs the TLC.

The staff is always friendly, I am a once a week movie goer.I really wish that the theater would be updated, the carpets are filthy and the seats need to be replaced. And the moldy smell is awful.It would make going to the movies more comfortable and enjoyable if it was updated and refreshed.

Good little theatre for a smaller town. It has improved some over the years. I just went and it was a good experience. It was quite loud but the option is too low I opt for louder. They offer better snack foods like hot pretzels, mini deli trays, hot dogs, flat bread and of course candy and soda. Come watch a movie, how long has it been since you and the family attended the movies?

The crew is always so helpful and friendly. Since AMC has taken over this building has made a lot of changes for the better. I cant wait to see what else this building does in the future.

Well I got to admit it was a poor experience that are closed right now and I cant get through by phone. Not to say that what theyre showing for movies isnt great... Some extraordinary movies as of late. Just timing I guess.

Sound and picture were good. I wish i could say the same for the rest of the theater. Chairs are old, broken and not comfortable. It makes watching a 2:30 min movie hard. This place could use a good overhaul.

Ehh, its a standard movie theater. Absolutely Nothing to get excited for. Maybe, and Im spitballing here, but maybe if they used these outrageous prices and modernized this theater, great falls would have a decent theater!

We come here a lot as there are few options for things to do in Great Falls. I havent had any bad experiences here. The theatre is not as modernized as some of the newer theatres. It doesnt have reclining seats or an IMAX screen. The annual popcorn bucket and stubs memberships are a good deal. Overall its a pretty decent theatre but dont expect an over the top experience some newer theatres will offer.

I have never found the theaters to be dirty. The seating is comfortable. The price of going out to a movie here or anywhere, no matter what your age, is ridiculous. Prices are horribly high for admission, as is the cost of food and drinks. Also, some of the movies at the theater are already available on television. Great Falls needs to up their game in my opinion. Then again, the parking lots seems to be full. Therefore, people are still willing to pay the prices. As long as people continue to flood the place nothing is going to change. Business as usual!

Subpar popcorn, but very clean and friendly, and good quality screen.

This theater is never clean. We are regulars here just because theres not much else to do in town. But whether its the actual theaters that never get cleaned, the lobby, and most disgusting is the bathrooms. Customer service is okay but cleanliness, friendliness, and the actual facility itself could all me improved.

Overall, pretty nice. Overpriced snacks, but thats to be expected at movie theaters, these days. :(

06/2017: As the only movie theater in town, its good. It would be nice if they could update the seat cushions so that they are more enjoyable in the lower seating. The concessions are pricey, but I do like what they do have available. The staff is helpful if you have a little patience. I do wish however that they expand to have an arcade inside the waiting area.Edit: 01/2019 its one thing to have to come up the length of the parking lot on crutches in the middle of winter. Its another thing to OBVIOUSLY IGNORE someone in that state and not at least come to talk them. Seeing as this is the ONLY theater in town. I dont have an option to take my business elsewhere. So, its all about customer service. Hence in my drop in the approval rating.

I enjoy coming here more than when it was carmine cinemas. seems to be run better and I like the updates they made. seems like their customer service improved too.

This is a nice theatre offering a wide selection of snacks, drinks, and movies. I was surprised at the condition of the seats, because the rest of the theatre seems updated and classy, but the seats are still the smaller older seats, and many had broken armrests and stains...

With the new ownership this theater has really improved with leaps and bounds. They have great snacks and food for the movies. The signage ia up to date and done well. The staff even seem to be happier and more helpful.

Movie was good but the entrance was dirty. There was no signage as to where to get your tickets. Staff seemed careless.

No voice on screen, once it started my husband was outside telling someone so I had to leave all my stuff to find him and we missed the beginning. We were not happy

It’s a small town theater that’s staffed by mostly young, high school aged people who sometimes may or may not be having a bad day. Service will pretty much vary based on that. However it’s still a place to watch movies that is kept in somewhat good condition. Hopefully it’ll see some more updates one day!

Concession foodies good but way over priced.

Sat in theater for 15 minutes with a blank screen and piano music playing before me and another person alerted staff. Staff when entering were not very inviting or friendly and the ticket taker was so busy counting tickets she never bothered to look uo to see the group of people.

Me and about a dozen others waited in line for 20+ minutes because we arent premier customers and only premier customers were being helped. Then we were informed that there was supposed to be 3 lines as if that would have helped. Horrible customer service. The only reason that we come to this theater is because it is the only one in Great falls. The seats and theaters are gross, dirty, and need to be reupholstered as they are falling apart.

Very understaffed. Several selections in the soda vending machines were out. Butter dispensers for the popcorn were both out. Lights were flickering in the theater. This place is trash.

Would give more stars but the cashier was way rude and seem to be in a rush and did not want to answer questions about their rewards memberships. Over all theater could have been cleaner after arriving early and still having to waot 20 minutes for the theater to be cleaned and still found food on the floor.

The customer service was great. We are premiere members so some customers got upset when we were able to go to the front of the line. The customer service was really good.

Getting better. It surely isnt Carmine level of bad anymore but it still doesnt feel that much better. The flow of the place doesnt make sense, the place looks half kept half not, but the customer service is much better than it has been in years. Two years ago I wrote a review giving this place one star and I would have given it no stars if possible. Now I will barely give it 3 stars as it has improved but there is a lot more to go yet. Thanks AMC for changing some stuff up as I now will happily go back and watch movies in a theatre.

Great movie and sound. However for the first showing of the day you would think they could spend some money on a mop for the floors in the theater. They were extremely sticky from pop.

Only theater in Great Falls so theres a bit of a monopoly. As such, prices are kind of ridiculously high for movies and even more ridiculously high for concessions. Last time I checked, a small box of candy was $4. Overall though, my experiences here have been good. The one time there was something wrong with the speakers and no sound worked for a few minutes, we talked to a manager and got a refund quickly. Thanks for that good service. Clean, good facilities overall

Walking into the theatre that the movie was showing in, was like walking into a sauna. When stating a complaint that it was about 85 degrees, we had been told it was the thermostat and it was broken. And it takes about three hours to fix. My response, well I missed a good portion of the movie we paid for because I had to leave several times to avoid heat stroke. Along with several other paying customers. Customers should not be subjected to sit in a boiling hot room because of a KNOWN problem with a heating element was stuck on high and broken.

No, screen of what movies are playing at thicket booth, so when our show was sold out we could not read the schedules to opt. for a different movie they were moved above the popcorn stands, ( I have 20/20 BTW). Then found out you can now buy tickets at the popcorn stand, and a premier line. Confused on what line to be in. Then its fill your own drink to go wait in another line, and they are so close together even with 2 machines, only one person could pour pop, and the put your own butter station was so close everyone was congested and waiting. Could be more stream lined. Very confusing for the occasional movie goer.

Theater was fine, but having hot dogs on the one side and main items on other caused confusion. There has been a long line waiting to fill at the drink dispenser. Wasnt a very good solution.

Facility is inviting. Movie and popcorn are approaching amusement park prices. The arcade section is slightly overpriced. Some game machines do not work properly, which is disappointing.The movie experience itself was great. Fantastic surround sound.

They used to have really sharp focused movies now its all fuzzy. Someone doesnt care apparently.

Always freezing. Old cold popcorn. You cant even wash your hands in the bathroom. There is never any soap. The water only drizzles when you hold down the handle the whole time. And you get an inch of paper towel. Now we commute to helena for a weekend movie. Way better. So fun. Better prices. Lovely bathrooms. And clean theatres!!!! Definitely worth the 45 minute drive

I just started to go to a movie for many years and I really like the variety of movies to watch BUT, you people need to get back into reality with your popcorn and pop. Its really sad because the concessions are more expensive than the movie itself.
