Great place to take the kids. Or even just walk/ride a bike without the kids. The playground is wonderful. It is more updated then I expected it to be; it just isnt great for smaller kids unless they are really fearless. The playground is also under a nice amount shade in the later afternoon and there is a decent amount in the early afternoon. There are a decent amount of picnic benches around so you can bring lunch/dinner/snack. The only thing that is slightly wonky is parking. If coming from the main road, there is a parking lot off to the side of the highschool. You need to cross the road and train tracks so make sure you keep a look out for them.

Public park in Grayslake with 2 playgrounds and long loop trail to take a walk. Has some sport fields and Frisbee golf as well. Very nice.

Great place to walk around and enjoy the area. I go there many times a week for Pokemon Go. Great place to catch Pokemon and take over gyms.

Fireworks at Central Park were great! They seemed to be right above us, which was a great view.

Only 90s kids will remember when it was white and red and was much larger.

The park is huge! Very beautiful will many areas for a variety of activities! Ive always felt safe even at dusk. Park is busy and well patrolled. I go there weekly in the summer months.

Safe, clean, quiet, beautiful, recently updated playgrounds, waterpark, frolf course, proximity to library, pool. Serene and active areas. Open space and wooded areas. One of the greatest things about Grayslake is this enormous park.

This park is always open, its a beautiful place. Good for children to play at with 2 different parks as well as a splash park and a pool.
