Adjacent to a Grain Mill, the location has a main museum (which seemed to have a close sign but I might have been mistaken, they were still open in the rest of the buildings.) Its mostly a representation of the industries (cotton mill building, printing press stamps and demonstration at select times) and artifacts from the areas history (Indian arrow heads, police force equipment from some time ago, fireman axe, etc.,) whether it be political related such as elections, or a school house. The surrounding area is also worth checking out and this is a good starting point on what to check up on.

This is a place for the young and old to visit. We had our 30th family reunion here in Grapevine and everyone really enjoyed all of the festivities... from the shoot out in the watch tower...the exhibitions in the museums...to the festivities on Main Street. Everybody really enjoyed themselves. Whenever youre visiting the Fort Worth, Texas area or you live in the area, stop by Grapevine and Main and visit, I promise you wont be disappointed.

There is a lot of grapevine history here you could easily spend several hours here. I didnt even make it to the other houses that is on the property. It is free to go in at ant time & the lady that work there is helpful. I will be going back when its not raining so I can check out the other houses.

Friendly and very knowledhable staff. I went with two 20 year olds, and two 14 year olds, all of which had a great time. I wouldnt recommend it for ages younger than 12 as they would not find it interesting.

I was disappointed at the way the museum choose to omit the facts of slavery from displays. I really dont understand how there can be a cotton ginners museum and an educational spil about when cotton was king with no mention of the agregus crimes against humanity that were committed and no tribute to the human beings that lived ,suffered and labored in this country so that cotton in fact could be king and Fuel this American economy.
