This is a really reasonably priced theatre. The owner is really kind, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the concession popcorn is just right. It is an old theatre and so the seats are old, however they are not uncomfortable and the place is kept very clean. I bring a poncho to keep my legs warm, but its not too cold. They show just one movie. It is our beloved Grants theatre and I always enjoy attending.

It had been a long time since Ive been in a movie theater that would seat close to 500 people. Old school one screen. Old chairs. Stained and deteriorated good sound system nice people. I watched Sonic the hedgehog. It was one of the highlights of my stay in grants New Mexico. Five thumbs up

Theatre staff is friendly, prices are reasonable. Sound system and picture are very good. Seating is very old school, but refreshingly simple. Been coming here for over 30 years. Thank you for the great service!

Popcorn was delicious. Snacks were perfect and plenty. Warm and cozy. Friendly owners. Had a great time watching Frozen 2.

Classic movie experience. Friendly staff. But the best part is being able to purchase affordable snacks! That alone gets five stars from me!!!

Entrance to the movie area could be closed off.People walking in and out, swinging the doors and letting the light in gets annoying. Might as well give the ok to people to use their phones. Seats could uses some upgrading, bring a seat cushion to sit on.For the price, its a good place to watch a movie.

With grandchildren around in like to take them to see new movies when theyre worth seeing. Prices are reasonable, considering its the only theater in town. I also know the owner personally so I get a discount.

It may be outdated, but for a small town. I am grateful that we have a theatre! Plus you can enjoy a movie with snacks for cheap compared to big cities. I hope to have it around for more years ahead! The owners are Awesome!!!

Screen and sound system ok but the broken down no cushion seats are horrible. I guess in a small way it gives you a sense of nostalgia when you sit in seats that were probably installed in the 50s and your shoes stick to the floor due to the decades of soda and nummy treats coating it. Dont forget, they only take cash!Stay Golden Pony Boy.

Nice small town place. Old theatre but a good one

New seats would be nice. However, its a Great place to hang out. I love the matinees they have for our children in this town. All are very friendly, Never rude.

Use to watch movies there w/my siblings when my dad was working for Kerr McGee at Ambrosia Lake Back in the days when Grants was in the booming industry with the uranium mines. My dad Woodie Wilson Lee wasnt a smoker nor did he consume alcohol, he would have lived longer had he not been a miner, but that was a high paying job to care for his family. Those were the good ole days.

First theater Ive ever smelled chemical air fresheners in. I expect it to smell like popcorn, not putrid artificial vanilla(?)

Old theater....but I am really grateful they have one in town. Only $9 adult admission, and the concessions are incredibly cheap for a movie theater. Thank you, West Theatre, for keeping some entertainment in this community.

Old fashion theater, old building and old seats ... not the most comfortable; however, the screen is large and the sound is good. The prices are decent too!
