Loved the animal act show there. It was vaudevillian circus with great acrobatics and animal performers. Fun show for kids of all ages.Seemed liked the air conditioning was not working. The curtains definitely werent in working order. My seat was losing its padding. That being said, the show went on and I do love this intimate little old theater.
Absolutely loved seeing floater there! The sound was amazing the seating was genius but they still had an open area for the moshing lol! The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because their drink prices were way way way to high! $10 for any shot and $6 for an 8 Oz. Cup of beer! But the staff was friendly and welcoming and the building is beautiful.
First time going to what used to be our old movie theater which has been turned into a wonderful place to see live entertainment. We saw Pablo Cruise, soo fun! Its still a nice place.
I love this little treasure!! They always host he funnest shows! Theyd definitely get all 5 stars if theyd change the direction of the ladies restroom door, you cant use both bathroom stalls because the door blocks it and when the theaters full, makes using the restroom difficult.
The Rogue Theater is truly getting old, but the players who perform here are given all she has left.Zepperella brought Led Zeppelin to life in this theater to the great excitement of a large audience. In my own experience with theater arts, the performance was not only virtuoso but brought a group together who enjoyed this theater.
Its,was awesome to listen to the band and workers there were nice and friendly. Just wish there was a nice little dance floor on the side.
I love these old theaters. The Rogue is charming & lovingly preserved.
Dweezil Zappa was amazing!! The only thing that was a problem was my grandmother requested disabled seating and was denied, even though she has a cane.Dissapointed with staff, not the theatre.
Thank you Rogue Theater! You help me live well with fabulous talent at my door step!
Dont miss Zeperella when they come back. Accomplished musicians, good singer and harmonica just rocked. Clementine is one of best drummers Ive seen.
What a great venue especially if youre seasoned...little older, dont want to stand, enjoy a great concert. Bathrooms were very clean, concessions fair price. ENJOY THE SHOW!
Cool, old, historical theatre. Glad its here and running for local shows!
The shows are great and I love the venue. But they attract the WORST crowds: overly intoxicated, heckling, loud, obnoxious. Tonight was my 3rd and final show here. At least we didn’t walk out like a handful of people around us!
We got to see The Subdudes play tonight and the show was fantastic!!! What a great experience for my mother in law, wife and myself. The venue is wonderful and sounds perfect. I recommend going, especially if you love the artist playing like I did The Subdudes tonight. My M-I-L got me a poster which I was able to have autographed backstage. Thank you Rogue Theater!!!!!
Vintage theater! Great venue! Amazing artists!
Not a bad seat in the house. It has character and a storied history of acts that played there over the last 30+ years. Greg does a helluva job as asoli operator bringing great music usually only seen in Portland or the Bay area.Greg himself plays a mean guitar and has songwriter in his resume to boot!
Best ushery Ive ever encountered, as my friends and I sat row 3. An usher asked us if we could see well, and we really couldnt but said yes anyways, well this usher made the people standing in front of us move to the side. He somehow physcicly knew we couldnt see Del Mcoury good enough.
We had a lot of fun at the Todrick Hall show!!
I just LOVE the Rogue Theatre in downtown Grants Pass, OR! Its the size of a high school auditorium, kinda like the one in Berkeley, CA, where I heard Jimi Hendrix play in 1970.Anyway, the crowd is always fun & upbeat, I just saw Kim Simmons there with Savoy Brown. On October 10th my friend & I got tix (2nd row) to hear a band from the Bronx, N.Y. called Postmodern Jukebox. They are a very unique band that do my old fav rave punk songs & then set them to jazz. Also, they do tunes from the 1920s.So REALLY looking forward to them!
My church joy church meets there. Not been there long but so very accepting and awesome. All welcomed.
Old school movie theater converted to a fun venue for live shows and music. Always hosting great shows, while serving good domestic and craft beers.
Great Sunday service by Joy Church
First and only time going to Rogue Theatre- Went to see Willie Watson and Charley Barr. The venue is garbage- its not set up for standing floor, yet they allow it. The staff did nothing to control the drunk crowd, and Watson walked out early because of the constant disruptions. Even if this place is historic, its poorly managed. If you want to get drunk and high and continually talk over the music, then sure, youll like it. If you want to enjoy a show, this is not a good place for you.
Had a lot of fun at Pigs on the Wing- the Pink Floyd tribute show.
Went to a concert here. Everyone was friendly. Good old fashioned venue.
A great place to catch your favorite musicians or hear something new!
What a great place to catch a concert. I have seen several bands perform here, and I always enjoy the venue. They even serve alcohol. If you get the chance, I highly recommend going to see one of the shows that they put on.
Pretty decent theatre, good seating but it gets extremely hot inside.
Staff was awesome, drinks were strong, beautiful theater. Smallish dance floor, groovy times
This place is amazing and the history is great. We live in Ashland but we have attended many concerts in this venue and like it a whole lot. However, one word of warning, dont sit upstairs because thats where all the drunken Big Mouth people sit. Very unpleasant experiences sitting up there but its not the fault of the theater. Always pay more to sit downstairs if you can. And the upstairs balcony gets really hot as well.
Fabulous concert Gaelic Storm
Small, quaint venue but the seats are way too close together. The interior desperately needs to be updated and bigger bathrooms.
Absolutely fantastic Venue! Cant say one thing bad about it.. but I would like to see more vegan food and drink choices.
Loved the concert but the theater needs some TLC
Fantastic venue. Ample parking.
Great atmosphere, service, entertainment, & food!!.. Really enjoyable.
Great place! The staff is friendly and the theatre is very cool.
Loved the music #zepdrix, seating was comy.. but the camera men were obnixious. And the bartender was rude. I asked why we werent allowed upstairs and the tone in her voice made me think she was really tired if dealing with asshats lol but still rude..
Love rogue theather y@t played 4 time
Saw a floater concert that was awesome the rogue theatre is a great place for shows
Nice venue. Wish the lobby was a bit bigger to accommodate those entering and waiting in line for merch or for the concession bar. The staff is great! Would also like to see more current names coming thru as well as more family oriented such as magic shows as well as some good comedians.
Great small venue. However certain performers attract certain crowds. Not unusual to smell marijuana!
Quaint and down homey
Great venue. Great musicians. In the Hart of grants pass
Love this place good acoustics, and I like the cold beer, staff is personable.
This little theater is quite the experience. I saw Crystal Bowersox play here and it was intimate and shined. Overall just a fun perfect little date night out. Staff was friendly and humorous.
Not to bad
Love this place!!! Been to 2 concerts, cant wait to go back!!
Great venue
Saw all female AC/DC tribute band HELLS BELLES .. awesome show, awesome venue!
Excellent place for great night out with excellent music
I took a group go 10 to see Shopkins Live. We had 2 people with Developmental Delays, 1 senior citizen, 4 kids under 8 and 3 others to assist everybody. We asked for help in finding a place where we might have 10 seats close enough together to see one another. I was yelled at, in front of my group, and told that General Admission was General Admission and to go upstairs. I spent over $300 there, not to mention the 3 hotel rooms (some of our group was local) and the 20 meals at various restaurants in the area. I have never been treated as rudely as at this theater. It was embarrassing. We later asked for help in getting the people to sit down to allow the rest of us to see, all we got in response was a rude attitude and no action. We wont go there again. We would rather spend our money in Medford, Bend, Redding, Eugene, or anywhere else. I know we were not the only people that had that experience there. I hope other GP businesses wont mind the loss of business, and that the theater owners wont mind explaining that they are the reason for that loss.
A diamond in the rough. A must experience!
Seen Johnny Lang there, perfect venue for him.
Used to be great. Now have a problem with noisy, rude clientele. Serve alcohol which just adds to the problem. Need to control the few who ruin it for everyone else.
Go here whenever I can love going prices are a little bit high but still love going and they have a great arcade
Saw pink Floyd the Wall here, sat in the Balcony, had 5 different doobies passed to me that night! It was fantastic! Rock on Rogue Theater!
Really needs some updating. Great concert though!
Awesome place to see a show.
Great venue!Very nostalgic atmosphere.3rd concert I have been to there and they were all nothing less of amazing.
I took my 80 year old parents to see one of their favorites, Del McCoury last night. I think they are permanently traumatized by the crazed twenty-something stoners that were wasted and falling all over them. They had no idea who Del McCoury was, they just wanted to get loaded. The staff bouncers watched them smoking weed all around us, and they sloshed beer all over my dad. They all seemed to have been raised by wolves, with no regard for the people around them. The body odor was so foul that we ended up changing seats 3 times, and then we just left early. What a waste of $160.00. While the theater and sound were good, the allowed bad behavior was very disappointing.
Always a fun place to be
Great theatre with a fun staff.
Old movie theater, now mostly traveling bands, etc. All styles.
Was comfortable great sound and friendly service.
Fun place to go. If you havent been you should
Epic on all levels!Drinks were a little pricey, but other than that, perfect spot.
The front 3 rows of seats are uncomfortable, good view but hurt after awhile
Great music venue
Neat old theater
The Rogue Theatre in Grants Pass is a small intimate venue booking great talents.
Great shows, great place!
Drinks were outrageously priced! $10.00. More than Id pay at a bar. Seats need replacing. You sink in them and then you cant see.
Too much of the crowd was so noisy that Willie Watson walked off in disgust before his last encore
Good show but the seating was so cramped and uncomfortable
Cool old theatre turned into music venue
Very helpful great venue!!
Love this place
Great venue for small shows.
Great venue for concerts!
Great venue!
