This place is definitely following sanitation guidelines, it was our first time eating here though! don’t mind the pizza I ordered mushrooms on half of the pizza only lol our server was Brooke she was amazing the food was delicious (so was my adult beverage) and overall my little family had a blast here definitely recommend you and yours to come out and enjoy

The place is great! Ive always had fun when I visit. The people in the party room serving food were great, and the food itself was rather nice. On the other hand, one of the persons at the prize shop was rather dismissive and clearly didnt want to be there. I only asked for help from then twice and then seemed extremely annoyed to serve anyone. Regardless, it was a great night!

The eating area has some of the most disrespectful waiters/waitresses. They see you waiting and no one comes. No one wanted to clean a table. Manager finally came. But the manager for the restaurant area did not come. Will not visit this location again. You need to do better Grand Prairie. Good customer service goes a long way.

Awesome experience for a pretty teen birthday. But Saturdays are super crowded. Our hostess Danielle was amazing!

Night started off great with bowling, food, games and more. As time went on the zip line monitor went on break and I was told that I would have to wait till he or she returned. Which was fine but after an hour went by I went back to ask to do the zip line then was told the person left for the night and I was told to go get a refund for the inconvenience. I was thankful for being told I could get a refund since I couldn’t completely use my passes. As I went to the guest counter to ask and talk about the issue there was nobody there for a good while. I was asked by a waitress who saw me just standing there waiting for a while. After telling her the situation she said no problem I’ll get a manager and I said thank you. After waiting again Anthony showed up and I told him the issue and then he left came back 10 min later with a 1 hour bowling coupon and $25 play card and said will this do it. I told him I’ve spent over $140 being here tonight and I don’t think 1 hour and a $25 card will do it. After I was able to finish the night I went back to face a devil of a woman named Dawn who thought because she was a manager she could talk to me how ever she pleased. She was extremely rude and wouldn’t let me finish a simple sentence. And she didn’t have a mask on while talking to me at all she said she didn’t have to have one since she was the manager and made the rules. The simple fact is they wanted to shut me up with simple cards instead of giving my money back. I would never return to this establishment if my life depended on it. The two dumbest, ignorant, laziest, uneducated, unqualified people work at this place and I believe they should not. I recommend never going here for this reason. The absolute worst place to go with friends and family.

Cool spot to take your family on the weekends! Great food and drinks too! I definitely loved the desert, they hooked us up with the donut holes.

Fantastic place for food and fun with friends and family! Bowling, ropes course, multi-level lazer tag, tons of games, VR, Beat Saber and more! Food was great and there is a great food and game combo. My wifes favorite was the bowling, my 9 yr old daughter loved the ropes course and my 13 yr old son and I couldnt get enough of the lazer tag.

I have to say, it was a very pleasant experience. While I only went to play pool and get a few drinks, you could see all the other activities that were available. The building is very clean and well maintain by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were friendly and greeted each person with kindness and respect while the bartender was conscious of my drink levels and checked in to see if I wanted more. This is a place Ill definitely visit again.

Lots of fun games but the drinks are high amd the games somewhat expensive. To be expected though right?

My family has always had a great time when going to this Main Event. We were there opening day and got a free year of laser tag. Covid hit and we havent got to take advantage much but when we do go we have a blast. It is clean with large TVs to watch sports while bowling or playing pool. The Arcade games are plenty and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it.

That beat saver was the best first time playing it i get 55,570 on extreme and I love that play it was my first time.

It was clean, spacious. Kept the 6 feet apart and all the Covid rules. Had a good time. Will for sure come back!

Actually had a really good time there with my friends and family, especially during these times with the pandemic...I noticed employees quickly sanitizing games and bowling lanes and the stuff used from the party as soon as they were done with the lane , the manager also seemed to have a good handle and steady flow on how to run things.... So overall yeah good time and safe thinking of coming back next week

The entire staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful! We brought a group of four teenage boys from 200 miles away to celebrate my sons birthday and had a wonderful time! The facilities were clean, the amenities were exception, and I cant express enough about the incredible employees...they were awesome!

It is really nice. Small crowds which helps with Social distancing and lots of fun with family.

The place is very much over rated when it comes to food and drinks.and there is to many kids working there that doesnt know what they are doing.its a good place to take your kids for fun nothing else though.

My family was having a birthday party for my nephew who was turning 6 and wanted to celebrate here. My mother began to order some food, she asked for a wings combo but requested that she have all flats. The waitress said we cant do that per the chefs request. I said Ill pay the difference, who cares how much what my mom wants Ill try to get. Same rebuttal, per chefs request we cant do that. I asked for the chefs name, she didnt know. I requested the manager, he then also said the same. I guess this chef MARTIN runs the place. Anywho, this place isnt a place that caters to the customer needs so this WILL be the last time my family or I will attend. Enjoy though!

Had to wait too long to go bowling and to play laser tag place wasnt even that crowded! Also one of the workers was very aggressively repeating the face mask policy over the PA system. It made you feel like you were back in grade school!

This is an awesome place for old, young and anyone who wants to have a great time. You can have a date, play with your kids, spend time bowling with your elderly Grand Pa, or hang out to just play video game. The place is amazing. Did I mention the bar? The food is sublime, have at it. Have fun!

Love hanging out at any main event this one had a zip line and that is kool.

This is the best Main Event I have ever been to. The manager Dawn is always polite and friendly. She is always helpful when we need her. People like her make me feel like bringing my kids to play here and they always have so much fun here.

Staff was super friendly and manager gave my son extra credits for his birthday when we went. Only downside was people were walking around game floor with no mask on and not distancing from others who were wearing masks. No staff went over to the family that was not wearing masks to tell them to put them on. Cant go back to this place if it continues to be this way.

It was a bad experience. We are in a pandemic and they are not enforcing the face mask policy. Also they put my girlfriend and myself on a lane where there was other people there. Not following the 6ft distance at all.Couldnt get our refund but we only bowl for 20minutes. Just a bad experience and will not revisit that place.

I give main event a one because today Saturday September 19th I went there and I waited 30 minutes outside in the line that wasnt moving at all and a whole lot of people were coming out and I get the process cuz of Coronabut they have me waiting there I said my sister was in the car she was 18 and I had another sister that I was 16 and my 18-year-old sister had an ID but they would not let me inand the man that was outside with a lady today he just get me and didnt even let me go in so I just left and I went to itz

Beautiful space and atmosphere. Workers are nice and respectful. The place is clean per Covid19 protocol. We enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing! We spent 5 hours here for my sons 13th bday. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was immaculately clean and functioning properly.

Main event is a good addition to Grand Prairie! Bowling and the games were fun. Didn’t get to try the drinks or food today but definitely next time! Tony at the front desk for bowling was very friendly!!

I spent around 6 hours here with my 3 friends it cost around $120 for us to eat play and have a great time i will be going back when my friends visit again.

It was my first time going and I loved it...

Its a arcade but the selection of games is pretty small they only have like 3 rhythm games one of them was a vr game. For 25 dollars you could get like i believe 150 credits. Most of the games took like 7 credits for 1 game but goes a lil higher like 8 credits som3 games. There was a good selection of prizes to get from the redemption. I mean it looks like its more of food and bowling establishment. Theres some games that are really easy to win jackpots so getting tickets arent that hard.

I appreciate the cleanliness of the place considering the times. Had a good time with my family.

Monday Madness was a great deal... all you can play - games or activities $10.95. Hot wings were right up to par! Plenty of fun to keep you busy for hours. A few games not working, but most were. Fun place for a date night!!!

Fun Good customer service and good food and drinks

Great atmosphere, awesome place to go with the family, so much to do for both children and adults. There are a bunch of arcade games to play, laser tag is so much fun, you have bowling, virtual reality games, televisions everywhere so you wont miss the game and the food is delicious. This place is very clean and friendly customer service from the employees. You have to visit this place! Its also a great hangout for the fellas who want to watch a game, put down some beers, eat good food, and maybe play a game of pool.

The place is amazing I love it so much fun. Even though the lights went off while we were there but they fixed it real fast.

Brought our son for his 14th birthday here to try all there activities out. We were told to be seated and a server would be over for our orders but to our surprise those before us and after us were being served. We asked three times and they told us to order through a server. We were never acknowledged and felt discriminated against. It was our first and last time here.

So much fun things to do. Great times and had so much fun celebrating with family and friends celebrating a birthday!

We visited Saturday 02-01-20 and we were greeted by a nice lady that gave us information about the specials and told us where to proceed to purchase our wristbands. Even though it was very busy we did not have any issues. We went bowling and ordered food without any problem. Went on the Laser Tag and my kids had a blast. So many arcade games to play. The virtual reality is a must. Overall staff was friendly and we will definitely be going back soon.

Bowling,laser tag,gravity rope, arcade,billiards,restaurant, and bar all under one roof. Came here on monday madness and it was a great experience. You only pay $10 to unlock all events for the day! And you can do it all for as long or as little as you like. Ambience was nice no loud music blaring or crazy crowd. Recommend bringing the family out here.

What a horrible experience today. While waiting for 3 hours for our lanes to become available, we decided to sit near the bar and eat. I ordered several food items first before everyone else joined us. 30 minutes later the others joined and ordered their food. Within 15 minutes their food arrived and mine which was ordered 45 minutes before, still hadnt arrived. Then we got to our lanes, had to request a server several times, and then ordered several items. Our one hour bowl time was over and we NEVER got our order. I informed the supervisor but he said hes not the manager and cant do anything about it. Wow. Poor service. I know they just opened but they need to work on staff being attentive. We should have just went to the Grapevine location.

Nice place, just over priced on the games. I spent $300 and my ran through that in 30 mins.

Stopped in for info on a Birthday party for my 13 year old, I believe the man greeting was named Mike, he was so helpful a d directed me to speak with David in the office who was also very helpful. I was amazed at the customer service with how busy it was! Will definitely be back especially since its so close to home!

Brand new store so its very clean and well kept. The staff has finally found a good groove with the new store and are doing quite well with customer service and all around keeping up with the daily operations. Its crazy busy on weekends, but we caught them on a lighter afternoon, so the experience was smooth as ice.

This was our first experience with The Main Event! We played laser tag, had a blast on the gravity ropes, pool, played an hour of arcades, ate lunch, and played some more. This place kept 8 of us from ages 6 and up entertained for 4 hours! The food was way better then I expected for an arcade type of place, and everyone of the employees were so very nice and accommodating! It is rare to find a place anymore that has exceptional customer service, but this is one of them!The only thing I would recommend to anyone is to call the location you plan on visiting first to see what attractions they offer. Not every place has all the activities listed on their website! With that said we all had a blast at the Grand Prairie location!One other thing I would note with covid being in the front of everyones minds is that they were exceptional at keeping the place clean. They were regularly wiping down all the arcade games and equipment for the different activities. They also had hand sanitizer in many locations.

It was a lot of fun. It is mainly an attraction for kids but the drinks are great for adult gatherings. Only negative thing is a bit pricey try happy hour if they have one or on discounted days like maybe holidays.

This is a great family place the kids enjoy playing the video games, laser tag and we as adults enjoyed bowling. Food is good and if you buy the food as a combo with the play card, the food is almost free. Staff are friendly and very helpful

Very Fun Night!!! Should have given this place a chance months ago. Food was surprisingly Great!!! It was actual Real Meat... The bacon-cheese fries were so delicious, Wingz were Good, Pizza taste fresh , & Grilled Chicken Sandwich was Great. The Arcade Games captured not only our children, but we absolutely got lost in the fun.... Gand Sanitizer was Everywhere. No need to panic So much... I still did,,, lol

They coaxed us into paying 19.99 for all you can play. But the fact of the matter is that on weekends they are so crowded you cant really get to anything. You can bowl all you want for an hour at a time. Then you must get inline for a lane reservation but your next available lane will take 5-6 hours. They take online lane reservations before the people who are actually there and have paid. There are a total of 3 pool tables for your family and the rest of the world to play on. You have waitresses running into you while your trying to play pool. The prices on cookie cutter food is outrageous. 4 dollars for a 12 oz. Soda. Unless you go to this place on Monday through Friday while everyone is at work you will not get your moneys worth. I would recommend the local bowling alley at their regular price. They probably have more pool tables and you would save money as opposes to Main Event. Way too many people to play all you want.

Had a great time, lots of cool games. We played laser tag and did the gravity ropes. There were extended wait times for most attractions, 2 hrs was the longest which was for bowling. The food was very pricey, we had pizza and wings. Pizza was ok, dont get many slices. I like that it stays open until 2am. Overall, it was nice, going back without kids.

Very expensive! I bowled with 5 others and barley got one game done with the 1 hour rental. The ball return sratched bowling ball. It took a long time to get pins set back up. Thats how they get you to rent 3 hours or more. I will not be going again. Ill try a new place next time.

It was packed so it was difficult to play games but I didnt mind waiting since it was a Friday night. Seems the staff needs more training, but its new so that is forgiving. I waited in line at the ticket booth forever because the attendant did not know how to fix an error and the manager hadnt been trained on the fix either so the employee was worried about losing her job. Overall I had a good time...lots of kids there and were well behaved. I plan to return but will give it a month or two for the staff to get better training. Btw, we love the Bartender Kyle!

I submitted a job application here a couple of weeks ago, and a few days ago, I called to ask about the status of it, and was told theyre not hiring. Thats fine, i said to myself, but when i told them that their website said that they WERE accepting applications, they started to give me attitude over the phone, as if it was my fault i had found a mistake on their site and on their behalf.Not a very good way to drum up business if you snap at both your employees and customers (according to other reviews here and on other sites), if you ask me

Went to the food court to buy water no one was there waited for 10 min and no one would help or tell us any information as to why no one was there. Employees were in the kitchen just talking and laughing and they just looked at us and said nothing. Some of the staff looked as if they hated their jobs. Very disappointed and bad for business.

Service was horrible. Nobody acted like they wanted to be there or help us as we came in to eat. Server was rude. She had no idea what was going on. Dont go to this main event.

So much for the Family to choose from, from games, laser tag, their virtual reality game, gravity ropes, a blast.

Place is busy. Service on the bowling side was pretty much non existent but the people at laser tag were awesome. Lots of fun just make sure you bring a bag of money

Terrible service! I think the only good service we had was of the nice lady at the front door the host, who walked us around and told us about the place. Besides that the bartender never brought us the stuff to play pool she just sat around with the other bartender talking. I inform someone from corporate that was there they went to speak with the manager. The manager never came over. Instead he sat around with the girls at the bar and talked as well.Then I come home to find unauthorized transactions on my account from this main event. I speak with a manager on the phone who says well sir what would you like me to do

So I came here on Thursday night to come try out their drinks for thirsty Thursday and the bartender I had was so nice but I went to buy game packages for the night so I could play some games with my wife and I saw the front desk people just counting down the time on their watches to whenever they closed and I was in the middle of a game and they shut the game off, so I basically wasted about $15 on the games and didn’t get to finish up, they completely shut off the power and I wasn’t even able to keep on playing. Service from the bartender I had was quality but my overall experience about the games and my time there was just unsatisfying

Honestly, I had a phenomenal time BUT the wait staff in the food areas is abysmal at best. Aside from the fact that you have to seat yourself (which is totally fine) my group waited more than 20 minutes just for someone to take our drink orders. After about 10 we received those drinks, but then waited another half hour before food to make an appearance ( with some of the order wrong even). Also, when a person orders Coke please let them know that there is no Coke, but Pepsi instead. Dont not tell them, at all.Anyways, I had a great time in the games area and bowling and such, just the restaurant experience was a disaster.Take away: Eat before you go inside. The food is also pricier than its worth.

The place was not that full so it was perfect , employees where cleaning all the time and they clean our station that we used for bowling and we where away from other people so me and daughter had a blast. Thanks main event

This location is severely understaffed or really just careless staff...Friday night and theres at least 3 bartenders behind the bar and wait 20 minutes just for the one to acknowledge us and ask if we wanted a drink...like we were standing at the bar for nothing. Then proceeded to give everyone else their drinks so we ended up walking out and not spending a penny there what a waste of time!

My granddaughter only eats their taco she them.
