This is a great place for visitors and residents alike! The Greenway is a meandering path behind the flood wall/levee system, which surrounds nearly the entire city, and protects the city from seasonal flooding.Its a great place to see the Red River, the grasslands, and some wildlife (occasional deer and lots of birds).The path is very well maintained and the pathway is large enough for walkers and bikes.Overall, I highly recommend The Greenway to anyone.

My dog and I walk the Greenway along the Red River all the time. Its a nice park. Maintained well. Good trails.

I love running the running the trails and have put many many miles on since Ive lived up here. Only real negative Ive got is a lot of people dont follow the law that dogs must be on leash the whole time. There are a lot of dogs off leash and a few have chased me out on runs.

People should let me know when they are coming up behind me. Be courteous!

Awesome park in North Dakota. In ND there are nothing much to see but Greenway park is the only place where you can chill and relax or do cycling during summer and walk for longer distance. And in winter you can go ice skating in the lake (Red River).

Miles of open paths to walk, run, bike, rollerblade, longboard etc. A bike repair station was added by Lincoln park which is a great addition. Hope more get added along the trail. Theres a few spots along the southern part of the greenway which is a little rough for rollerblades but thats the only downside. Could also use a few more water stations along the way but overall Im very happy to spend hours rollerblading through the paths

Still has debris from the flooding. Not maintained very well but serene and peaceful!

Gorgeous. Paved path. Youll see people running, biking, roller-blading, and walking. Goes along the river with neat bridges

Very nice asphalt trail with well maintained and beautiful surroundings. Perfect for any activity and rarely busy around the grand forks area compared to other trails Ive rode or ran. Highly recommend.

Miles of paved trails along the river to bike, walk, roll, or run. Lots of dog friendly bag spots and plenty of nature to take in. This is the best place in town to stay active and healthy .
