Had a little family get together for my son turning 8. They were so nice and accommodating! We had two pizzas and wings, both were good quality bar food. Kids had fun at arcade. Will be back!

My brother invited me to come see him, practice with the bowling team hes on. I really enjoyed myself and atmosphere was very appreciative. There was no smoking and I was able to carry out the procedure for coronavirus.

This could have been a 5 star experience instead I can only give one star. My son wanted to have his 6 birthday bowling, so since we built a house in Goose Creek this bowling alley was the closest. To start off they do not offer a birthday cake but charge you 15 dollars to bring one in besides whatever you payed for the cake where you got it. We didnt have a bunch of people, maybe 12 total with like 7 adults and 5 kids. For 6 people to bowl 2 games each it was 79.00. Ok a little pricey but I can handle that, what I couldnt handle is the terrible customer service. Every time my wife or I asked for something, they acted like we were bothering them. Im sorry Im asking them to do their job like shoe sizes or bumpers for the kids. Tried ordering food for everyone and couldnt because snack girl was late because of a accident. Np, it happens but when she got there, we ordered 2 pizzas and a hour later we checked where they were. Oh we had a problem in the back. Ok, you couldnt let us know? Anyway after all the excuses and terrible customer service we just had our cake we brought and left. Like I said, if attitude and customer service was better, this could have been completely different but they honestly act like they could care less. Im not one to blast companies but do yourself a favor and dont have a party here or actually come here unless you want to be treated like garbage.

12:30 PM 9/30/2020.Went to bowl 5 or 6 strings.Obnoxiously loud rap music continuously playing over their sound system.Half way through first string, went to front desk and asked the young lady to please turn down the volume a TAD. Went back to continue bowling. Did not notice any change to the volume of the STILL OBNOXIOUS RAP MUSIC screaming out of their sound system. We gave up after 3 stringsand returned home to take some Tylenol for our noise induced headaches. We will not ever return to Royal Lanes:(.

The staff members are very friendly and politely. Very understanding during pandemic according to CDC guidelines. Music and food was good.

This establishment was clean, they have nice, polite staff. Would pick this bowling alley over the one on Ashley Phosphate, which we went to two days prior. We had a pleasant experience here.

We just had our son’s birthday party here and it was such a GREAT value! Our son got an actual bowling pin as a keepsake for his friends to sign. There is an arcade area that was a hit with all of the kids. Guests got to bowl with the Cosmic Bowling set up for 2 hours and got a drink and food. (This included shoe rental which I have had to pay for separately at another place.) The only thing to pay for besides the amount per guest they quoted to us were the cake and gifts! They provided favors that included lolly pops shaped like bowling balls and pins AND a coupon for each guest that is good for a free hour of bowling when you purchase one the next time you bowl there. (For a 10 year old this is much cooler than Mom’s loot bags sent home from other parties as favors.) They even included and all of the paper goods and invitations in the party package! There was a very nice young lady who set everything up and cleaned up after serving all of the guests! (Don’t forget to include a tip for them in your party budget. They are so awesome you will def want to.) The deposit was minimal for a party reservation and you pay per guest who actually shows up after meeting the minimum number of guests. All of the details are listed on their website, but I just had to gush about all of the extras and quality. Amazingly affordable, great service from the staff, AND something all ages agree on!

We love this place! Its clean and fresh, and things feel new. Plus the staff is helpful and friendly. Our big group event was amazing and so fun for everyone in attendance!

A lot of fun for the family. Clean facility. My only complaint is that when they get busy and you want to purchase more games on your lane it can take time since only one person is working the register and getting shoes. But the staff is friendly and helpful.

This was my first visit here. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Very friendly people work here. They have a menu that is reasonably priced and good varieties of food and alcohol.I am adding this location to my fun places to go list.

One of our favorite hangouts. They have plenty of lanes. The prices are reasonable. Its not super fancy, but if you want to bowl and have fun doing it, this is the place.

We love coming here. Especially during the week were there is less people so my children don’t get in anyone’s way. The food is good and priced right. The teens working there are very nice and polite. Definitely great spot for families with kids. They have great specials as well.

Had a ball double dating wit my bf...... only complaint is they dont have enough bar tenders...... line was hella long but she worked pretty fast.

Their management really needs to get a grip on social media and how customers use it.We have a bowling alley 10 minutes from our house, but drive almost a half hour to Royal lanes. New Years eve day we checked their Facebook page and Google for the hours. One stated from 9-6 PM (Holiday hours, NOT listed as May be different because of holiday, but Holiday hours) and the other stated it was already opened. We arrived to find out it was not going to open for another hour and a half.Their lack of taking 5 minutes to change this information wastes other customers time. Sad.

Good prices courteous staff. They gave a small arcade with games of all kinds. Decent bar and grille.

It has been maybe three since the last time my family has gone bowling and we had so much fun coming back. The shoes have always been my favorite!

Fun, fun, fun. Something for everyone. A good place to play and have great conversation. There are things for children to do and adults to do including bowling. There is also a snack bar and a bar. There are pool tables and bathrooms. A very enjoyable experience.

Nicer place. Went on a Monday night, there might have been about twelve other people already bowling. Everything was clean and functioning properly, so we enjoyed a few games with adult beverages. Theres a nice bar there. All in all, great time. I highly recommend.

Its good exercise for the whole family along with the competition that goes along with bowling. Its always a good time youve got your little snack bar, and the prices are reasonable now it does get crowded so you might want to get there early

We had so much fun! Its not expensive. Its a good way to take the whole family for fun. Wish there were some lighter balls with bigger finger holes, butvwe had a blast. Took my mom here for her birthday.

I was overcome with emotions when my boy and several other Cane Bay High students asked me to be The Mom who chaperoned the high school students after the homecoming dance in this 2018 school year. It was very surprising to find out that we were going to be going to Royal Lanes in Goose Creek. It really goes to show that the old bowling alley isnt just something that you do as a family, or as you get older, or back in the day. This establishment is very well appropriate for all ages. I was very surprised to find out that all the children wanted to go to bowl and that is exactly what they did. Of course it being on a weekend they did have to wait about an hour to get Elaine, but the food, cleanliness, staff, atmosphere was excellent. I was so excited that I could actually get iced coffee. And even hot coffee if I wanted to before I left. The kids were able to shoot pool play video games Bowl and even enjoy cosmic bowling, and a safe environment with absolutely no drinking or smoking for underage students at all. It was so nice and it was even nice to know that they wanted me to bowl with them and hang out with them not just sit there off to the side and stay undercover. LOL thank you to Royal Lanes for making the Cane Bay High School 2018 homecoming dance after party a success.

This bowling alley should be a lot more modern and cleaner and have a lot more help. Ball went missing and never came back, pin setters kept dropping pins there was water or liquids on the floor....shall I go on?

My only complaint is, if you order a meat lovers large pizza, it comes out faster than a grilled cheese with fries.

We had alot of fun bowling and playing games! I basically threw $30 in the trash though we ordered two large pizzas one pepperoni and one cheese it was not good at all im a big pizza lover i think that was the first time i ever threw away alot of pizza other than that everything was great staff was amazing!

We had a fun night out. Our lane was between two groups of people and they were a joy to be around. The bartender was helpful with mixing some fruity drinks for those who didnt like the taste of liquor. Only complaint is one of the girls up front had a major nasty attitude and stood around instead of helping her co-worker. We pressed the service button because our screen went out and she just stood there looking at us. Other than her, our time there was delightful.

Lots of lanes, great prices, friendly staff and good location. Will definitely come back.

Lines didnt work properly

Great staff that work here. Morgan the young lady that helped me was amazing! Her infectious smile, greeting, and most excellent customer service skills were top of the line coming from a senior in high school. Between her, the gentleman running the pro shop with his extensive knowledge, and karaoke will keep me coming back. Great place solo, with friends, and family. Bring the kids, hang out, and have fun because this is a great place all around!

The place wasnt bad! The jello shots were ok. The bathroom was clean, kind of sucked that the full bar didnt open until 5.

Tournament was ok it was really hot felt like they had no air conditioning and only one fan and the bar was not open.

I live in Georgia and was down for vacation with my family. We all ordered food and/or drinks. When my name was called, some lady came up and walked right away with my food. The young ladies who were taking food orders were so very nice and apologetic. They even attempted to find out who had taken the food. I asked for extra time on my lane for the mishap and it was provided to me. A better system should be put in place when retrieving ordered food.

Nice place to enjoy a game of bowling, food could have been better. Karaoke was fun in the bar area.

I took my husband bowling for his birthday and we took advantage of the all you can bowl special they have in Monday’s. It was AMAZING!! We haven’t had that much fun bowling in so long! We decided to make it a weekly date, but hurricanes and life has gotten in the way. I hope we can pick up this tradition soon!

The bowling was fantastic and the bartender tonight was awesome sauce!!! The service in the food section... Not so great. Never called my name for my food that happened to. Be sitting there and took forever for the kid behind the desk to simply ask me what kind of sauce I would like with my chicken strips. But... Had a great time!

The bowling alley was clean and well maintained. There was not a surplus of annoying children. I actually found a good ball for my sausage links of fingers. The food was superb for bowling alley food and well priced. This is a great place for families with kids or friends just wanting to hang out

Great place. Love bowling here. I like how the owners are continuing to invest to make it a better place. Hands down this is my favorite spot to go each week. The wings are so delicious, the best wings Ive tasted in town.

A little dated but a good value for the money. First time I have ever been asked to pay in advance though as usually you pay when your done. I guess they have had a lot of people sneak out without paying.

Great deals. Clean lanes. Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Went on a Thursday night, 9-12pm $8 all-you-can bowl and shoe rental. But they have that Tues - Thurs. Many other good times. There is a bar with food, darts, pool table.

Reasonable price. Decent lanes. Good atmosphere.

Went to a birthday party here. Nice and clean bowling alley, great pizza and other food in the restaurant inside. Theres a bar inside the restaurant part that has a pretty good selection of draught beers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints. When you have to have the inevitable kids bowling alley birthday party this is a great place to have it.

Great ambiance and cheap bowling Monday nights!

Ive been here quite a few times with the family and every time was a great experience. Unfortunately the games are kind of expensive, but its worth it in the end. Every time Ive came here there was always lanes open and I was able to get one instantly. The cleanliness was on point and it was nice that they had the bar. I got a few drinks and I also tried out some of their food items. The food is actually pretty good..not bad

Great place to go with friends and family. Very friendly staff. Decently priced for the bowling and the shoes. The only bad things are the food is a bit pricey and there are so many leagues there getting a lane can be difficult at times.

Royal Lanes is great. Its the people that might change your opinion... As with all public places I suppose.25yr non league, casual bowler speaking. This establishment delivers what it promises and I keep coming back for it. I bowl with my own shoes and balls but the lanes are kept nice. The ball returns have left battle scars on my balls but it is what it is. The staff has always been open and friendly despite not being a full time patron. My wife and I can bowl 3 games, have a pitcher of beer and bar snack foods for about 40 bucks and respectfully take 1.5 - 2hrs of the lanes time so I cant argue with that.I personally recommend this place except I dont because now youll just be there now crowding up the joint with you eleveenteen children when I want some piece and quite. :)

Love bowling here! I was a full time bowler but left the game for a long time. I had a lot of questions and all the personnel are helpful.

First time going there and our lane broke down at LEAST 6 different times. It took about 5 to 10 minutes for it to get fixed. We started out patient and laughed about it but by the time we finished the 6th frame and waited the 10 minutes we were over it. The people next to us played nearly 3 games to our 6 frames. We went to leave and get our money back but were informed they dont give refunds on cosmic bowling because they dont know how many games we bowled. Our screen clearly stated this was our first game (it counts the total pins after each game and ours was all 0) but she still would not refund us. She finally offered to move us (why it wasnt offered the second or third time it broke is beyond me) but we had a babysitter waiting for us at home and already spent over an hour there so that wouldnt work. In the end she still refused the refund or any type of coupon or ANYTHING... they seriously need to rethink customer service because I cried the whole way home . New baby, first night out, blew 50 dollars and pleaded with the lady for our money back and it destroyed our evening. Really disappointed. Idk what wrong with people these days. Have compassion and do what you can for people.

We had a great time here. It was our first visit to this bowling alley. The staff was very friendly and they explained where everything was and how to work the machines. They went ahead and entered our names ahead of time so that the bumpers would go up for our 3 year old when she bowled. They also gave us a dinosaur ramp that she could use to bowl. It was a great experience and we will definitely plan another visit there.

Fun and affordable. A little dirty. Balls oldish. Did not like having to go into adjoining bar to get a beer.

Pretty good place to hang out with the family. The bar and food area needs some waitstaff. We sat in the bar and couldnt hear when our food was ready and had to go to bar to order drinks. A waitstaff would have been much easier.

Ive been to the bowling alley quite a few time, but I dont think I have ever brought my kids to this one. I was shocked to learn that they dont allow bumper for any child that is taller than the counter, which is pretty upsetting when you have a child who is autistic, who is used to always having bumpers, and in the 80th percentile for height and doesnt bowl well at all. We had already paid for the lane so it wasnt like we could just leave. They were not accommodating in anyway. I honestly dont see why it matters if they have bumpers or not, its not like she was bowling in a competition or anything.

Friendly staff and plenty of lanes. There is also an arcade of sorts and a bar with both drinks and food. Scoring seemed accurate, which cant be said of every bowling alley. Have visited before, 10/10 will visit again.

Great atmosphere, well taken care of lanes and descent prices. Bar service was pretty slow though. Overall a good experience. Id recommend this place to others.

I had order some Frys and the man put the wrong name on my order soooo my food sat there got cold and and I ask fore fresh Frys and they can like they did wont two that so I NEVER ORDER DOOD THEY AGAIN THAT A SAME

Had a great time. I go bowling alot around the country and this is one of the better alleys I have been to.

Horrible experience. 2 adults 3 kids went bowling yesterday. Bought 2 games. Didnt make it through half if the first game because the machine was acting up. We were moved to next lane where the same thing happened. Then we were moved several lanes down. Same thing. After that we just wanted to leave. Manager was only going to give refund for 1 game but I insisted on a full refund. Finally got refund but only on game not shoes. I will never go back to this bowling alley .
