Very clean and beautiful park with a parking lot close to the playground area. Its not crowded at all and the playground equipment isnt old or worn out. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic park!! There were several different jungle gyms, slides, swing sets and zip lines for the kids and a gazebo nearby so parties would be a pretty cool idea for sure. There are walkways and trails throughout the park as well as a tennis court. Parking is free and there are trash cans put up all over so its really clean. Its dog friendly as long as you have them on a leash and there are doggy bags available should you need them. Im not sure if its there all the time but when we went there was an ice cream truck too so that made for a great ending to our park adventure. Well definitely be back again soon!!

Nice place to bring your kids to play. They also have a decent tennis court. They turn off their outdoor drinking fountains during the winter for obvious reasons, but they are there during the summer. The bathroom is behind the community building in the middle of the park. They also have areas to host events.

Fun, have not heard of anything dangerous or unsafe for kids. Children love playing, plenty to keep them busy, a walk around book reading for Mom and young child. Tennis courts. Clean, manicured lawn. Excellent place for children and adults.

The scenery is beautiful & a feeling of serenity due to finally being able to come out of hibernation due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

This is a park in the City of Goldsboro. It has been here for many, many years. There is a fountain in the center that used to have fish in it, but there are no longer fish there. They have tennis courts, a train for the kids and the kids at . There are picnic tables and a gazebo. They have soccer nets and playground equipment. Most of it is still closed now because of the virus. The grass needed to be cut today. More attention needs to be paid to the uo keep of various things in the park.

Really awesome play place!!! but other surroundings werent okay... my son found a razor in the parking lot and then another visit a bunch of school kids were smoking on the play sets :/ but the playground is awesome.. :( just depends on the day I guess...

Went to Jingle in the Park with my daughter and grandson and enjoyed it so much! Train ride, hayride, leaves and Santa! What a nice time we had and such a good time. The Park put on a wonderful day and evening for the citizens of Goldsboro!

It was nice. I went there as a child and was able to share that with my grandchildren. Wish the picnic area was closer to the park.

The Christmas thing they have out there is fun. My family and I have so much fun. We drive an hour and a half.

Large park. Has playground, tennis courts, and a nice walking path, provides dog poop bags to clean up after your pet, covered picnic areas. Some fantastic old, interesting trees if you find that interesting.

Ive gone to this park since I was a kid. With it being right across from the public library, its a good spot to play, walk around, or now a days, play Pokemon Go as there are two gyms located there. On a hot day, just walk across the bridge to the library to relax and read a book in the air conditioning. Can be rather shady during the night however, so unless you are with someone else, I would not advise walking around late at night. Farmers market is open on Wednesdays.

Nice park in the daylight. Play equipment was OK. My 6yr old couldnt reach the zip line. People smoking marijuana heavily in the park. We left before dark when the riffraff started comming in.

Nice park. Its has a fountain, tennis courts, and a train that kids and parents can ride! Its right in the center of town.

Really nice playgrounds. My 11 month old climbed the stairs and went down a slide for the first time on her own (shes a pro). Neat fountain and grounds.

Love this park wish the bathrooms were cleaning and the eating area full of ants so bring stuff to clean or cover table. The kids love the train!

The jingle in the park event was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and professional. It was set up wonderful. Only request next year have handicap accessible parking.

The park was quiet and peaceful a breeze was stirring and it made my time reading the word very enjoyable.

The park was really nice. I was there to play Pokemon go with friends but it was a nice park. There is a area with play equipment for children and on there other side is several tennis courts. The parking is free as far as I know and they have a beautiful fountain in the middle if the driveway. Oh.. and the squirrels are cute.

Amazing place to take your kids or family for a picnic or even to play some ball they have large stretches of grass with soccer goals you could play anything on from baseball to polo. One of my family’s personal favorites is the side walk that has a story book on them but you must finish your walk in order to finish the story. The playgrounds are very nice to sit back and enjoy or even join your kids for some fun!

Herman Park is a great place to bring the whole family for a BBQ, to bring the kids to play on the new playground or just to relax and enjoy the peaceful environment.

The kids love going to the park

I like it. I use to go here as a kid and I like that it is near a library. Good for birthday parties and for taking your kids and pets. Tennis court and basketball court are fun. The train is fun for the children also. I bring my dogs and when the train is in town me and my siblings go to the concession stand and get ice cream and other food while they wait to ride the train. The fountain in the middle use to be really pretty with fish in the water but now it just looks nasty and thrown away. Sometimes there are people playing music also. The park is down from goldsboro high school.

Very nice park with tennis courts and a huge green wall, ti play on if you have no partner. Restrooms were clean and there is plenty of shade. It is located behind the goldsboro library. Its a beautiful atmosphere but I only go here before noon because of the neighborhood surrounding it.

This park is nice. I would rate it five stars if there were a basketball court with at least 6 goals. This park has no basketball court, at all.

Its a nice park. Just didnt like the fact that there are some shady people wandering about. One guy followed me and my spouse for a bit, we sat down at a bench and the guy circled around back towards us. Kept eyeing my wallet and our phones. Never did anything but, we kept an eye out. Other than that, the park is beautiful and relaxing!
