Awesome park and is near the mountains so the view is amazing. Friendly people. I would definitely go back to that park because its beautiful and the playground for kids is huge. There is a small and another tall playground for bigger kids. Had a great experience and its a beautiful small town where this park is. I would recommend it

It was an awesome day! I seriously had an awesome time rafting down the river! Water was awesome. Slightly cold for a minute but once ya got a little wet it was just fine.The water level was a little low and a few times I had to get up and walk to a deeper spot. There were several big drops and caused me to capsize once but catching my tube wasnt a problem. Thank God for that because it was a rental.Cant say enough how much fun it was without rose colored glasses on.

I Loved it. I and everyone were well distanced and we were all wearing face masks except for eating. It was awesome the environment was safe. And it is a beautiful park for both singles and families.

Nice fields, well taken care of but not enough parking especially at game time on the weekends. Its close to downtown so you can walk and grab a bite.

Nice easy walk. Nice creek that visitors can run and kayak in. The park has a rec center near by as well. Enough space to enjoy a picnic and a fine playground

Best free entertainment for summer !! Easily accessible for all ages, been going here for years and years, i prefer to go during the week as it is so popular that the weekends are crazy!!Unfortunately it is currently closed due to Covid.You can still walk the path, but there no river access

Park was clean and well kept. Beautiful and the creek nearby adds a nice atmosphere to the park. We had a little potluck picnic which was nice that the park had picnic tables. Was sad that the creek was blocked off due to covid but you can still walk along side it.

I love lions because its right next to downtown golden and the river and the park it is very fun to bring your family with you

Beautiful strolling paths along both sides of a roaring river, great for wading and tube floating in the summer. Dog friendly. Lots of benches to relax. Fun for the whole family. Hiking trails lead off the paved path, plus a playground, baseball fields and ample parking. There was even an air plein art class the first day we went! Pictures do not do it justice.

Great place! There is a huge playground (also smaller for little kids 1-2 y.o), swings for little kids and regular, benches, shelters, grass area, sand area, porta potty. Right next to the creek. You can walk along the creek or bike (portion paved and then dirt road (can easily do stroller walk). There is access to the creek for kids to play and throw rocks. Also can raft there, but check their website for more info.Today (July 10 2020) access to the creek was closed in most places, still a few spots to get to water. Creek is full and fast in places, watch your kids!

Love to tube here but it is always way too crowded which lowers the fun factor down also the bathrooms are nasty and seldom clean when you use them. That being said it is a very beautiful park that is fun to recreate in it gives you a nice balance of city and nature.

Wires and devil head thorns still all over the place Ive been informing them about this condition in the dog since it reopened. They said they would spray pesticides, but they have not removed the wires nor the devil head thorns. this is a dangerous place..

This is awesome. Dont take small kids tubing until August, (thats usually when the water is slow and shallow enough). For the more daring however, the rock jumping and tubing is awesome.

Park is nice but nothing like the photo as the creek is fenced off from public use.

Beautiful water way, to bad they have gotten so restrictive with the dogs, used to be able to walk up the river into the woods with much less restrictions. rules, rules, rules, no longer so enjoyable for the pets.

According to All Trails, this is called Terrys Park & Clear Creek. I bet in the spring this creek is really rolling & beautiful to watch. The trail goes further past the bridge.

One of my favorite golden parks because its so big and spacious. The creek water level is up pretty high because of all the snow melting in the mountains

This park is awesome year round. In the summer wading, swimming or tubing down Clear Creek is an enjoyable respite from the heat, there are baseball fields, tennis courts, picnic shelters, a playground and there is a farmers market on Saturdays. In the fall, the foliage is beautiful with the creek just babbling away. And in the winter, Golden goes all out to make the trail an absolutely wonderful Christmas light path to behold. All located within a quick walk of downtown Golden.

My kids and I love it here!! One of our favorite places to go, VERY family-friendly and a easy hike alone the creek.

We had a family reunion meal here while celebrating wedding rehearsal. The nearby river offers some additional fun when the water levels are safe enough to allow for it. I would highly suggest at minimum wearing a life vest no matter how great of a swimmer you are as there are tricky currents that change often, and in a perfect world a helmet as it is very easy to get pushed up into rocks.

Too many people. Go on weekdays and bring your own tube from walmart to save money. The water is literally 2 feet with man made rapids. Great pool areas for kids and feet dipping areas up and down river. Most fun is taking judges cards and watching tubers flip and dunk themselves. 2 feet not going to die! Hilarious free entertainments

We enjoyed the evening music followed by a kids movie! Our kids had a blast. The food trucks were fantastic. I totally loved the ice cream truck! Yummy!

Oh my great good bejeezers, this place has perhaps the crazy cool mountain space Ive ever been to. There are plenty of lots of unique and exciting things to do, A lot of them are completely free which is fantastical. if you have not been here you need to go here within the next 3 days, if humanly possible. Basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, a lot of open space and a nice river that you can jump in to cool down on a hot day, this park has everything except a playground. This is a great place to hang out and have some fun with some friends, or just go for a walk with a special somebody. Highly reccomend checking this place out.

Great stroll around downtown Golden. The river is Ice cold and the rapids are rolling! If you have time, take your shoes off and stay a while. Friendly rangers walking around. Family fun activities all along the river.

A great in town park that sits next to the river and has a wonderful trail which meanders along the river, up the hill, and back down and around to the river again.Trout Unlimited restored this section of river a few years ago, and the fish are using this area readily now.There are opportunities for kayakers and river boarders too--all in all a great spot to spend a day.No glass, no alcohol, and pets must be leashed.

Great walking area in Golden. Along the river or the shopping area. If you like water tubing this place gives you all you need. Be aware that your pets need to be on a leash at all times otherwise the park rangers will site you.

Such a great little escape from the world and so close. Clear Creek is flowing quick and cold. Very refreshing on a hot day

Really nice park! Great big open space so we can run with our kids and friends. The jungle gym is wonderful for kids to explore and play. There is a nice walking path along Clear Creek and in the summer we go tubing down the creek and through the fun rapids.

Beautiful place to spend the day

This is a go- to park for us. Playground equipment is perfect for small and big kids. The open space is perfect for dogs and group games. We did our two year olds birthday party here and it was perfect with the creek and the path and so much to do nearby!

This park is the exact kind of place that makes Colorado special.

Its a beautiful place. Unfortunately people dont really care about cleaning up after themselves. Beer cans, flip flops and so on.

Great park in downtown. The buffalo bill days are the best. Lots of events and lots of space for a downtown park. Clear creek right there if you want to swim or tube or kayak. Lots of places up the street with food.
