Beautiful! Such a nice hiking trail along Clear Creek. Golden is a cute little town and we had a wonderful day learning about its history and enjoying the local food. Will definitely be back and hopefully get to go tubing down the creek!

Absolutely beautiful stretch of water running through a picturesque Colorado town. Nice large soft grassy park and plenty of little seating areas down by the water. Nice sculptures and decor. RV parking area along the upper end of the creek with a baseball field. Really fantastic spot A+

This trail is organized and has been designed to encourage walking on the banks of the water. The paved trail appears to go on for quite a while and is definitely peaceful. An afternoon or after a meal would benefit from a walk on the Clear Creek Trail.

Great place too busy with people not social distancing and some no masks.

Perfect for a short walk on a weekend

This is an absolutely gorgeous trail meandering through the city of Golden, unveiling wondrous nooks. A trail filled with small hills. Paved throughout. In the summer, youll see thousands of people enjoying a tube ride down Clear Creek. In the winter, a wonderland of Christmas lights. Highly recommended for everyone!

This is one heck of a beautiful place. The road is great so getting around in any vehicle is great. There are so many pull offs to explore the different parts of the canyon. The climbing is wonderful and well established with great access. There are garbage cans at certain pull offs if you need to toss something away. Some areas have little beach like areas you can sit and tan. If the water is low enough you could take a cold dip. Im a fan of this area and everyone should check it out.

Great trail for a bike ride. Its wide, shady and a good amount of incline thats not too aggressive. Great way to get to Golden and stop along the creek or grab some food and drinks.

Free parking, super kid friendly at the start. Stroller accessible, many points to dip into the river. Its very dog friendly with multiple stations along the path for poo bags and trash bins. Theres offshoots that go into the mesas and through the trees, so you can take the non gravel/paved ways for the difficult trails attached to the main Riverwalk. Starts in the town and continues into the media area. Theres a baseball field you walk past where theres a public restroom thats very well kept and a changing table. Theres an historic mining village on the other side of the river, parallel to the little museum that also has a cafe that overlooks the river. you can continue the walk into town where the streets are lined with cute stores, spas, and eateries. Its also biking friendly, too--even for little kids.

I am biased.Lived in Golden for a while and this was the first trail I walked in Golden, the first time I visited looking for a place.Came here often with my pup when she was walking this plane with me.She loved to swim in the crik.Its changed allot since 2006, much busier.They have really groomed the water park and extended the width and length of the paved portion of the trail.It goes straight West and is nice at dusk. Very picturesque as you walk into the front range.Great in summer, lots of tubers, swimmers and fly fishers. Be careful if you tube, the Rapids and current are no joke. They have a river dive rescue team for a reason.Not a long trail and not technical by any means.Past 93 it is not paved, but is quiet and more wooded. Typically where tubers begin.You can choose to turn south over the bridge and continue the paved portion on the other side of the crik next to the football field.Its great for wildlife as well, birds, Raptors, foxes etc.I dont walk it as much since my dog has rejoined with source...kind of upsets me.Highly recommend for kids, adults and four legeds.
