Shannon and Nicole are very helpful. Karen the head of the banquet crew is also knowledgeable, and attentive. Angel at the bar is a good guy. they seem to have good audio video equipment but I had some difficulty with it.

YOU MUST GET MARRIED HERE! From day 1 we worked with Nicole and her alone makes it ALL worth it. With COVID we were concerned but she and her STAFF really came through and made us and our guests feel safe. Everything went off without hitch, not ONE single complaint. The staff made sure that my husband and I had drinks and had our dinner. The price point is an amazing deal and VERY reasonable. I thought with the price that maybe it wouldnt be good....the food is beyond delicious (at the tasting and at the wedding). STAFF is great and amazing. The VIEWS are also amazing and breath taking. I cant stress it, just do it, get married here, you wont regret it.

We recently had our wedding at Mount Vernon Canyon Club and it was the most special day! Planning a wedding during COVID is no easy task. We worked with Nicole Truax who made the process so easy and she made sure our day was going to happen. Our wedding ended up being so amazing and it is because the staff at Mount Vernon are so incredible. Our guests raved about the food and the atmosphere. I would highly recommend having your wedding at this dreamy mountain venue!

Amazing place? The food was absolutely tasty! They had an omelet bar, salad bar, dessert bar and other great foods for brunch! The views are out of this world. They have a swimming pool and restaurant area, tennis courts and hiking trails. Beautiful place for weddings, gatherings or just a nice time out. Restrooms are large and clean they have mouth wash if you need a quick fresh breath.

Oh my goodness. Where do I begin? My husband and I live in Indiana and decided to do a destination wedding in Colorado. I visited Mt Vernon twice in our planning process but 99% of our wedding was planned remotely. Mary and the other event staff were spectacular. Professional, kind and helpful from start to finish. The venue and surrounding scenery is gorgeous. The food was awesome. Many family and friends said it was the best food theyve ever had at a wedding. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting Colorado. Mt Vernon and its impeccable views were a perfect immersion into the beauty of Colorado.

Staff was absolutely incredible, went above and beyond to take care of us. Food was delicious! I didnt see an elevator for wheelchairs to get to the main floor where you dine or to the lounge. They did have handicap parking and restroom facilities. The views were breathtaking!

My husband and I just had our wedding here and we couldnt be happier with our choice in venue. All of our guests were in aww of the view, service was top notch, everyone was very accommodating and flexible, the food was fantastic and they kept everyones glasses full! We had to delay our ceremony because of an attire emergency and they made last minute adjustments to the timeline of our wedding so that everything still went off without a hitch. The coordinator that I had been working with during the two years of planning wasnt there on our wedding day but, everything was exactly as we had requested, despite that. I highly recommend Mount Vernon Country Club and dont think you can find a better bang for your buck. They do not charge a site fee which is a huge plus for couples on a budget.

My Bride and I recently attended a food and wine pairing at the Mount Vernon Canyon Club. Each course of our meal was meticulously prepared and well matched to a native Colorado wine. Ryan, our chef spent time before each course sharing his thought process behind each dish, the wine pairing, as well as the trials along the way to each successful outcome. Thank you again for an informative and interesting evening. We hope to be back again, soon.

Great service and great food

Amazing venue only known by the locals! We had our wedding here in March and the whole process was seamless! The dinner and cake was great! The planners were amazing and helped us with all the details. The wait staff during the wedding was top-notch! All of the little things they did helped us have a memorable evening!

Love Mt Vernon Canyon Club! Working with Mary was a dream. My daughter and her fiance live out of state so we planned much of the wedding and reception virtually. I knew this was the place once I visited, saw the gorgeous views and the elegant setting. Sent my daughter the photos and they loved it too. Mary was very patient with us as we bombarded her with all kinds of questions. Super kind person and very knowledgeable. The wedding and reception were absolutely gorgeous! Food was delicious - a cupcake tower instead of cake was yummy! We had the upper deck and the whole upper floor. The cool thing - we knew there was a wedding and reception going on below us but we didnt hear a thing. If youre planning a wedding in CO and want incredible views and need to stay close to Denver, Mt Vernon Canyon Club is the place!!!!

My son has had his prom here the last couple of years. The dance includes a charity dinner. The kids love this place, the food is good and they have a large area for their celebration. This country club is on Lookout Mountain so there are beautiful mountain views in every direction.

We are always excited to get invited for holiday meals here. It was nice to see an addition of several gluten free options for Easter. The servers were polite and attentive but not hovering. All the food was delicious and fresh.

Poor service, been a member for the past 2 years. Great view and pool but the restaurant is in need of someone who knows what they are doing. Even the waitstaff complains about the on goings. I could ignore all this if I hadn’t paid the membership fee, which it seems most of these reviews are not members. Just look at yelp to get a better view of this place.

Its so beautiful up there. Its likely that you will spot an elk herd or a fox , or even Turkeys! Its not pretentious, and they have a pretty good seafood night! Become a member, youll be there often!

We fell in love with this venue for the amazing mountain scenery without having the usual mountain venue price tag. Mary was so helpful and was quick to reply to any emails I had and was great the day of making sure everyone was happy and things went smoothly. This venue has the perk of including food and alcohol and rentals, saving us time of having to find a ton of outside vendors. We got a ton of compliments on the venue and you dont even have to have a member ship to hold an event here. I would highly recommend this venue for any event you are holding.

I was here for a work retreat, and the views alone were worth enough me wanting to come back! We had a work meeting in the upper levels of the club house, and it a great balcony that we could hang out on during breaks. During lunch, we were on the second level, with another great balcony. The views all around are wonderful. Since it was for work, we didnt get to partake in much of the fun amenities at the club, but the pool looked nice :)Food seemed just fine from what I remember. A co-worker commented that wed probably never be able to afford a membership here, but if you ever get a chance to visit for an event, its a great visit.

What can I say about this great place. We have been looking at this venue for our wedding. The view is special in and of it self, but what truly makes this place unique and exciting for a wedding is the staff. From Nicole, to the waitstaff, everyone has been patient, informative and hard working. This place is special.

I recently attended a wedding here out on the deck and in the Canyon Room and it was one of the most best places to get married. I highly recommend having events here and also getting married out on the deck. This will be a place I will never forget coming to.

Big annual banquet. Hoity doity. But two tables didnt get their main course until after the rest of the tables got their dessert!Otherwise, very elegant. Everyone enjoys the event because the site is so precious.

We had our wedding at this venue and it was perfect in every way possible.Leading up to the wedding we worked with Mary the majority of the time to plan our event. Mary made sure that our questions were answered and that we were on pace with making decisions and turning in paperwork. We visited the venue a few times prior to the wedding both to do cake tasting as well as just to view the room and take measurements. Mary was always very friendly and understanding of our busy schedules, and we were invited to come back as many times as we needed to make sure that we were ready.The day prior to the wedding we had our rehearsal at the venue. Mary was juggling another ongoing event and despite some of us being late to the rehearsal was still able to answer our questions and give us all the time we needed to prepare. We were very clear before the wedding what was going to be done for us, what we needed to do, and what the final costs would be broken down into a nice, easy to understand invoice. The venue did a great job making sure there were no hidden surprises.On the wedding day, we were given plenty of time to decorate the room as we wanted, and had everything comfortably set up before the first guests started to arrive. Contrary to some other reviews I have seen, the staff was extremely polite and helpful to us, making sure to get us anything we needed and answer any questions we had. The tables were set up such that the room felt full but not crowded, and everything the venue supplied seemed high quality including the cake which was delicious. As the ceremony started, Mary (discretely) directed us when to walk which helped a lot and made sure the order was correct. At the reception, the entire staff was very timely in bringing out the food (we had a served dinner) and making sure that we had everything we needed or wanted. We even were able to adjust on the fly for a surprise guest to make sure that they had food too. Overall everything that night was perfect with no mix-ups or mistakes, which considering the complexity of having a wedding is pretty incredible.After the wedding we were able to follow up and make sure that all final costs were settled. Once again, there were no real surprises or bills that we werent expecting, and the overall cost was extremely reasonable compared to some of the other venues we looked at. We definitely would recommend anyone who is thinking about having a wedding here to go for it, we are sure you wont be disappointed.

Went for 5280 week and while my steak was cooked perfectly I have never in my life seen such a heavy pepper crust. When I asked our waitress she agreed about the abundance of whole peppercorns. Later the manager came around and snarked at me, and was insistent that I was wrong. Food was decent but managerial staff should know better

Very pleased with the facilities here at Mount Vernon. Several areas to dine while enjoying essentially unlimited views of the Rockies, Denver, and more. Several large decks allow many different vistas of the surrounding beauty (including the elk, the Rockies, and city lights at night)--very classy design. Oh, and a great pool!Several recently updated rooms make this venue a fabulous destination for events. And of course the friendly staff, full calendar of events, and limitless crab legs make membership here a delight!

My parents are members and weve been coming here for 30 years, whenever we visit Colorado. I have to say that Mt. Vernon is feeling really dated and the food seems kinda lazy and uninspired. It just feels like the whole place needs a complete makeover. Ditch the stuffy white tablecloths, remodel the dining room and bring it into the 21st century. And add some exciting new dishes to the menu.On the plus side, the the views are always spectacular!

One of my favorite spots to go for a variety of events. Beautiful amenities, food and views. I think of it as high class casual and always enjoy everything about it as a non member. I know members have a huge variety of nice program and event offerings.

Great fun! A relaxed atmosphere with a refined service and you cant beat the views.

The views at this place are unbelievable, they have a very unique layout in a building that was built in 1923. The membership is fairly expensive, but you get a lot of access for your money. The wait staff was efficient during our event but extremely noisy, and not very friendly which included some literal eye-rolling from the staff. The people at our table laughed that we felt like we were going to get yelled at by the lady and it was actually a joke amongst other people attending how grumpy some of the staff was. I still rated it 5 stars because I am only rating the venue. The staff gets one star. I give them a little bit of Grace because they were dealing with two other events at the same time.

Tried the new Marketplace brunch today, Outstanding! Several food stations featuring sweet and savory brunch items including made to order omelettes, several fresh carved meats, salads, biscuits & gravy, and eggs Benedict, even a kids food station with pizza and chicken fingers :-) . Sweet potato pancakes are a must try!

I was there for a CPW luncheon for volunteers. The place was beautiful, the views amazing, service was excellent. The food was absolutely horrendous!

The food is horrendous. REALLY, every single time Ive gone (unwillingly now days), I hate that the person who brings us has to pay for my wife and I to be there. I WILL NOT eat even free food from this place. Even my mother and father are starting to try to weasel out of going here for an event.
