The signage is gone, glad I have it memorized. The slide is gone. The town is gone. Its really strange being here today. The kiddy rides, putt-putt, race cars and the few big-kid rides are left. Its way more expensive than 6 years ago and theres a lot less. Its just a sad reminder of a childhood destination. Im really mad at the owner of the land.

I have mixed reviews about this place. Yes it looks very run down and fences all over to keep people away from all the cool old buildings. Hopefully they will be fixing that part up. Seemed a bit expensive for what you got. But I did like the free parking, you dont have to pay anything to walk around, just if you want to ride. And all of the kids running the rides were very friendly and not trashy at all. Sadly I only took pictures of the bad parts. But the places that were running werent bad.

Total depressing dump. Run down falling down structures all around the outskirts of the place, surrounded by construction fencing. Theres like a dozen rides you have to buy tickets for to ride. Cheap but a total dump if you dont mind that kinda thing.

A lot of deconstruction around the park, buildings and old rides are being torn down. Not a lot of shade for hot sunny days. Pond for paddle and bumper boats smells bad. The rides were fun for the kids, geared for younger children, under 10. Theres an all day pass so they can ride all rides over and over, but not a large selection of rides. You can bring your own water, etc.

We just did the Easter egg hunt here, and it was awesome! The gentleman running it worked extremely hard to keep it fair for everyone, and they even checked to make sure kids didnt take more than 10 eggs each so that everyone got some. This was the best Easter egg hunt weve ever been a part of, and its a blast getting to stick around and ride the rides for the rest of the day!

This is great for a cheap little kid park to connect with your family. With lack of staff plan to be here at least 4 hours to ride/do what you want. The food is actual decent. The alpine slide is permanently closed thanks to the mine and a serious legal battle making this only for kids under 13 now.

Such inexpensive, great fun for the family. I went here when I was a kid. Not as much as back then, and very sad the alpine slide is no longer a thing, but we will definitely be back! The rides are operated by a bunch of teenagers, all who have gone through training and are very great at their jobs! I was impressed actually!

Fun, fun, fun! And not too awfully expensive. The go-karts are a lot of fun but I wish that they still had the Alpine Slide. My boys will never get to know the joy of sliding down that mountain on a paper thin sled. But yeah great place to take the family theres beer and food and concessions and different rides for the little ones.

Definitely not the Heritage Square of years ago. All of the old time buildings are gone. Theres approximately 6 little kid rides and 5 older kid rides (2 of those rides were closed down) The pro is its not packed so really no waiting. If youre a parent of a small child you dont need a wristband to ride with them on the kiddie rides. We brought 4 kids and wouldnt recommend, nor return.

Its not a bad place for kids. They have about the same amount of rides as lakeside kids area. They charge about the same. It is nothing like the original heritage square. almost all the original buildings have been torn down. the best ride they had which was the alpine slide has also been torn out.

To run a business successfully, with the technology available, simply post an update to your website to inform customers that the Easter opening event is canceled. That way your customers wont waste their time and perhaps theyll return to visit another time. Youve likely lost lots of customers by not taking just a moment to update social media links with a courteous notification.

If your children are 2-7 this place is great. The rides are super fun for them at that age and they dont see that things are run down. You can also bring your own food into the park. The park has seen better days for sure; I hope it gets revitalized, but its going to take a lot of effort and a lot of money, and Im not holding my breath. Our kids are 2 and 4 though, so well be back to find out. Between this and Elitch Gardens, a season pass to Elitchs is a clear winner, esp. if your kids are under 4.

The kids had fun on the rides but the games either ate their tokens or the games didnt spit out any tickets. On top of that, almost all of the games (20 yrs old) are 1-2 dollars to play. The park is in shambles and thats an understatement. They claim they are doing a complete remodel and upgrade but it looks as if its been this way for a while now. After reading some other reviews its been this way for over a year. Prices are high for the condition of the park. I hope they do actually upgrade the park, but I have my doubts. Signs say their lease ends in 2039 and theyll be around until then. If people stop supporting a run down, mismanaged park, they wont be around in two years. It looks and feels like a traveling carnival. We wont be back.

I cannot believe how much this place changed in 1 year. My family use to love coming here, but after today, we will NEVER come back. The owner was extremely rude and impatient not only to me, but to others as well. The place is way overpriced for the few small carnival rides they have. All the cute buildings that use to be here are now torn down and surrounded by a chain link fence. We use to love going into the souvenir shops and buying the delicious funnel cakes and ice cream. On top of all that, they no longer have the alpine slide. The place looks run down and abondened. Id like to add that Ive never wrote a reveiw on anything, but I was so disappointed with this place that I had to. Do yourself and your family a favor and go somewhere else or save your money. Youll be grateful you did.

The customer service was horrible. I was under the impression that it was free admission for their Easter/opening celebration. Apparently it was only free for the Easter event earlier in the day (they put between 11-5 online, but when we got there at 3, it was free earlier in the day, which wasnt specified) so we were forced to pay $60 to get in. When I asked the cashier to clarify, he started yelling (hopefully so everyone in the line could here as well) THESE ARE THE PRICES FOR THE DAY. IT IS NO LONGER FREE! I was a little shocked at that point, so I stood there for a second confused and he impatiently asks so which one do you want? The lines were so slow and long that we only got to ride 3 rides. I thought 2 hours would be plenty of time, but I was wrong. I asked to speak to the manager on my way out the door, and was informed they dont do refunds. I was, however, offered 3 passes to come back on another day, which I am grateful for. The park itself is nice and fun and my 4 year old had a blast and is excited to come back, but they seriously need to work on customer service.

Only amusement park and a cafe are open now. Train, shops, and theatre are closed forever. Rides are fine for five year old and younger. Most rides would be too mundane for older folks, except: go carts, small zip line, paddle boats, mini golf, Ferris wheel (about 40 feet tall). Best deal is $20 per kid for unlimited rides ($25 if you also want to include the go carts). Rides for kids under 48 inches require only one paying person (an adult). 19 tickets cost twenty dollars, and most normal rides cost three tickets. Avoid the arcade unless its extremely hot and you need shade and flashing lights for young kiddos.

Everything seemed pretty unkept and the rides seem pretty mundane, even for kids. They advertise a slick track course for fast go karts...it is a blatantly obvious lie. The track is not at all slick and the karts are not at all fast. I was just super unimpressed with everything I came across.

Just went by today, 11 July 2016, to see if we could ride the Alpine Slide. It was only 5:10 PM and was informed by a staff member that they were closing in 20 minutes, which we believed was still enough time to ride the slide. But were then told that the slide is closed permanently. Train is shut down as well. Only a few of the kiddie rides are left open among the deconstruction of this once quaint theme park that has been in and out of operation since 1957. It was designed by the same people that created Disneyland, hence the authentic looking Victorian building that are now being dismantled. So unless you want to take some young ones on a couple of kiddie rides, or see the sad remnants of a once Denver mainstay avoid going. Its just too sad.

Rides feel like theyre gonna fall apart, ferries wheel, pedal boats leak water in, most rollercoaster rides arent secured or bolted to the ground , as the rollercoaster passes by a section, the legs shift and move as if to slip off position. Not bad if you want your kids to get crushed by these infernal rides.

Id say the age range in their sweet spot is 5 to 8. Too far outside that either way and its not going to be that much fun. They have a pretty decent assortment of rides and on a Saturday there was no wait for any of the rides. The (actually pretty cool) zip line and gocarts were the highlight for the older kids. Spinny rides and mini golf were great for the younger kids, and both liked the mini Rollercoasters. Theyve done a pretty good job of making rides accessible to the younger kids as well. Double check the height and weight requirements before you come. For two kids and an adult, with good sized passable lunch and ice cream, it was $100 for the day. Considering the variety of fun and comparing to the cost of a bigger park, I give it a thumbs up.P.s. you can bring your lunch too.
