We took summit trail to the top. Is a nice trail but the summit was a little disappointing... A paved road and heating company property that was fenced off. Its a nice hike if youre looking for something very mild but if youre all about the views, find a different peak.

Fun hike up Summit Trail. Not much of a view, but the microwave dishes and cell towers are interesting. The hike down Incline Trail was a challenge... Steep, loose rocks, serious drop off at the edge of some parts of the trail.

A good workout. Trails are poorly marked, and there are trails all over that have no markings and are not on the map. I imagine the views were great at one time, but the trees have grown up so they are obstructed now.

Nice hike. Some relatively steep inclines. No real views from the summit, but there are some nice views. I would say look for the photo ops on Google.

I personally only been here once and went up the incline trail, its got its name for a reason its a calf burner if you dont stop hahaHowever I highly recommend this are in general the lake at the bottom is beautiful and peaceful. The parking is a little limited so depends on when you are goingViews from the top are limited but even is rainy weather the view is pretty far in general.Highly enjoyed this quick hike and would do again.

South Uncanoonuc is a great outdoors destination in Goffstown, NH. There are miles of trails and its only a short drive from most places in southern NH. The incline trail is a very steep path to the top that used to be the location of an incline railway. Other more gradual hiking paths are available. There is a lake here but its only open to Goffstown residents. A huge network of trails surrounds the mountain and also connects to North Uncanoonuc.

Easy to access but views are limited. The incline trail is the shortest way up. On the south side of the mountain are views looking south. It is easy to make the wrong turn going down the west side as there are a web of trails between south and north uncanoonuc. The lake at the bottom is worth viewing.

I love hiking this mountain. It provides great views at the top and has someb great trails. Its also fairly big considering its a tiny mountain in Goffstown. I can be out there for hours. My favorite trail is Walker to Summit. That has the best views. There are a couple reasons though that I can only give it 3 stars. The first is that it is not really well marked. There are signs at trail intersections, but not every trail even has tree markers, and when they do, they are not always frequent or clear enough. It is also tricky to actually find your way into the actual mountain from Link Trail. Finally, its super muddy early and late season. Like I said though, I will continue to hike it because now that I know the area, these drawbacks dont bother me. I would recommend it, but probably not alone the first time.

Incline trail is very short but super steep. Not a lot of views on the way up. The longer trail (Summit?) also has no real views on the way up. The lookout, just below the actual Summit which is just a road with electrical towers on top, is nice and you get a clear view of Manchester and the surrounding area. Black flies were horrible the other day so be sure to use bug spray. The hike is fine and local if you need something quick, but if youre a regular mountain hiker youll be underwhelmed.
