This was a beautiful hike. There are I believe 5 different trails you can take. We did the Beaver trail. It was more strenuous than I thought it would be but great exercise! Took about 50 minutes and it was 2.3 miles. The longest trail is 3 miles. Also, there was actually a person blowing leaves off the trail! That was awesome.

Highly recommended for everyone, all ages. The preserve is lovely, well maintained, and family friendly. The hiking trails are accessible to almost anyone. You could easily visit the Nature Preserve daily or make it your once in a lifetime tourist attraction. Fantastic outdoor activity that satisfies the eye.

Great trails, in a spot you would believe was there. The water cascading off the rocks makes it cooler than the air around you. Went there on a nature hike with my wife and son, and we all loved it.

We did the Beaver Trail. A pleasant route that presented a few intermittent challenges - and which allows for a slightly squidgy and slippery detour the main waterfall. Well be back for sure.

Shortest trail (Frog trail) is a nice short walk through the forest with youngsters. We saw deer tracks multiple times, but unfortunately no deer...maybe next time.

Magnificent overlook of the Mississippi River, along the great river road. The trails can be described as primitive in nature, either gravel, grass or dirt! Take the deer trail, if you are looking for an arduous challenge!

No notice online that it was closed from Dec to March 31. Drove all the way there (about 45min) to get to a wooden sign saying the trails were closed. So disappointed. It would be great it they update their online presence to reflect their closure polices.

This place is unbelievable. I had the place to myself because of the day and season I went. But I enjoyed my hike tremendously. Its a must go for any age and any hiking skill level. You are not allowed to take wheelchairs however since the terrain is uneven and often to hard for the wheelchair to easily go in and out.

Beautiful trail with wonderful scenery, but Im not sure we ever found the lookout point. We also got lost (not too lost just unsure of which trail to take) due to scarce trailmarkers. Optional water crossings, bridged water crossings, elevation, nice views. Would definitely recommend
