Staying for the night. We originally had the top floor (booked two weeks in advance)and it was changed to the second last minute. The rooms have a very open floor plan. ( there is a open room windows open up to the kitchen and is not secluded at all. You have to walk through it to get to other rooms.) My room did not lock at all even after being given keys. One of the doors did not even shut. The neighbors can be heard through the walls. The staff however were supper friendly and the location is amazing.

Location,location,location, Good Harbor Beach and majestic Atlantic ocean directly across the street.Owner/innkeepers are friendly and welcoming.Inn is clean, quiet and a little haven of bliss.Everything good is very nearby...the beach, Rocky neck art region and restaurants, Rockport, downtown Gloucester...all just minutes away.

Wife and I had an amazing weekend. Room was very clean and cozy, owners couldn’t have been friendlier, and location to the beach is amazing. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is so cool. This is the second time my family has stayed here, and we are anticipating booking for a third time. Tony was, and is, a solid host and guy. My wife and I are up here now in December for a mini getaway during the Christmas season. The area is beautiful this time of year, and being able to see the sunrise from our room is amazing. Take the time to come here and stay, especially this time of year. Rooms are a bit dated, but adds to the charm. The little touches such as candy and cookies everywhere, and a christmas tree really made the trip.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Never had any interest in staying at a bed n breakfast. Boy was I missing out. Ed was amazing. Made us feel right at home. Im going back. THANKS Ed.

The owners are SO nice! Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and its right across the street from the beach. Beautiful common room with huge picture window overlooking the beach. Complimentary continental breakfast every day with muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. Theres an apartment with a full kitchen and two bedrooms you can rent, which is great if you dont want to spend a ton of money on restaurants.

Loved it. Great location, excellent views of the beach, SUPER friendly owners who really made me feel at home. Room decor is a little themed/consciously dated, super cute. I would probably not stay there for your more, er, amorous vacations, as its not particularly soundproof between rooms, but it was perfectly fine for hanging out and sleeping!

Beautiful old beach house with FANTASTIC Views! No available drinkable water source, No ice . The continental breakfast was a joke. It was put out the night before. I tried 1 bluebberrystuesal that was hard as a rock. Blue shutters has DEFINITELY taken the BREAKFAST out of B&B. I travel all over the country and this place is one i will DEFINITELY NOT put on my to stay at list again. Staff needs training in hospitality. The guests should never have to hear the host/ hostess complain about their work or lack of.

This is a B&B I always come to when I stay in the town. Have tried others, but always return to the homey, friendly, and inviting atmosphere of the inn. We stumbled on it because friends recommended it as a place unwind in. Its splendid! The mornings are wonderfully complimented by a basic breakfast accompanied by tips and banter. The evenings involve a convivial fire and company or a quiet retreat in the delightfully characterful rooms. Each room / suite is different. Finally, the hosts–and there are several–makes one wish more stars were available to compliment their company in all things - exceptional like the view from the bedroom window..

We’ve come back many times over the past ten years. Unmatched views and direct beach access combined with very friendly owners. Tony, Patty, Ed and Ann Marie will meet all of your needs and go above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience.

This is probably the 20th time Ive stayed here. The staff is so friendly and treats everyone like family.

Best place to stay in Gloucester. Tony, Patty, Ed and AnnMarie are gracious and friendly hosts. Right across the street from a great beach. Stayed there last summer. Spent most of my time relaxing on the beach with my guitar in hand or swimming in the crystal clear water.

Our stay was not nearly long enough. Location is perfect! We were given an upgrade to another room as our original room became unavailable, no charge for the upgrade!! Cant wait to return!

Serene, absolutely relaxing visit were able to check in very early Tony met us and was very warm and friendly. The view is just unbelievable the beach is perfect lots to take in. It is a bit like going back in time .....

They were very friendly and helped my pounding headache plan to go back next year!
