If I ever get questioned about my most memorable/best experience adventure park/rides, the answer will be Glenwood Caverns Adventure park. This is probably one of those days in my life when I had non-stop fun all day!!!The rides are pretty scary (I’m super scared of heights) but extremely fun. The rides are soooo fun that you literally scream the entire time you’re seated. There is absolutely no ride that is bad. All the rides have their own way of fun.If I have to choose my favorite ride/experience, it’d be the mine drop .This will be your absolutely amazing family experience because they have rides and experiences for all age group including proper food establishments + alcoholic beverages.Must go!!!!!!!

This is a wonderful little park up on top of the mountain outside of Glenwood springs Colorado. I had a blast on the rides that they had and not even all of them were open and it was definitely worth the full price $59 that I paid online but when I showed up they refunded me $15 and said that I should be given a discount because of how a few rides were shut down today. every staff that Ive interacted with on every level from right operators to the gondola tax to just people walking around the park have been very friendly very helpful and just gave me a wonderful experience. If youre anywhere in the vicinity come check them out you could run through everything in the park if theyre not busy in a few hours but you honestly can spend the whole day here having fun by yourself or with a bunch of kids. The mountain coaster is probably one of the most unique rides Ive ever been on in my life, it alone is worth the entry price!

Really great park with very fun rides! The views are spectacular, and the new Haunted Mine Drop is one of the most surprisingly thrilling ride that we have been on. I was especially impressed with the staff at the top of the park. They were very friendly and professional. They also were enforcing wearing masks while standing in line, and we really appreciated that since my 87 year old Army veteran Dad was enjoying a day out and about with us to celebrate our sons birthday. I had one minor issue, but the manager and owner are very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back, and we recommend this park highly!

This park was incredible and my kids LOVED it! It is located at the top of the mountain so the views are amazing. The Alpine Coaster and Zip line were my kids favorite rides. Make sure you check your kids heights before you go because they are SUPER strict about it. Masks were also strictly enforced, including all children over age 2. We were also able to bring water bottles and snacks into the park. We loved the cave tour and our guide Tyler was funny!

It’s expensive. But man - what a great time! We scheduled to get there at 10AM so we had the maximum time with our kids. The morning started out great - cool weather and no lines. We went on the Alpine Slide and the Eagle zip line about 20 times total. All the other rides were cool too. One that was unexpectedly cool was the 4D theater. You have to try it! Works all the senses and the chairs move. The mine tour was cool. All of the staff were great. Only the negative I’d say was the restaurant food was surprisingly bad. Expensive for what you got - which was basically a microwaved plate of food. Otherwise - great experience and worth the money.

Probably the most anxious I’ve ever been in my life to ride the canyon swing and it was so fun. Would have rode again if we had time. More scared of the flyer while on it which was surprising. Then the haunted drop ride sealed the deal. So much fun if you love thrill rides. The coaster and zip were also very fun. I love amusement parks and this was a very cool experience on top of the mountain. Only did the fairy cave tour and was great.

Fire. The Fairy Cavern is cool, but the other one around back is even better. The tour guides are knowledgeable, and the people working here are always friendly and willing to help. We took our three kids here a week ago. Due to Covid-19 they are doing timed entry in to the park- the issue with that is that you have to pay the same price no matter if you get in at 10am (opening) or later in the day... and considering that the wait times are so long- you pay the full price to only get to ride a few rides. In the 5 hours we were there we were only able to get in one cave and ride 3 rides due to closures and long lines. They only had one restaurant open for food- it took an hour just to get something to eat. One of the workers told us that they had so much closed down because they didn’t have enough staff- the college students went back to school.... I understand that- but they really should consider discounting the tickets when so much is closed. It’s a nice park in a beautiful location- it’s clear that it is well kept but we left not wanting to come back after spending so much for so little. :(

This is a small but fun amusement park! Most of the rides are very thrilling - some smaller kiddos may not have a great time if they dont like fast rides. The Alpine slide is the BEST! Leave time for multiple rides on it - trust me! Also go for a no-break ride for an extra thrill! The giant swing is scary but oh so fun! Make sure you sit on the side facing the park (not towards the canyon) for the biggest thrill - staring straight down 1,300 feet into the canyon below! I also highly recommend the cave tours - its a great way to escape the heat at 52 degrees year- round! If you only have time for one cave Kings Row is the most decorated room in Colorado! There are a lot of stairs and its always damp so I recommend good shoes. You can buy passes good for all day, unlimited rides and cave tours included or you can buy tickets for a per-ride option.

So much fun, great family day! Loved everything about it. The caves, the rides, and even the gondola up was part of the adventure! The only thing I was bummed about was their measuring for the rides. I specifically measured my daughter (who loves rides) to make sure she could go on the bigger rides. With a tape measure she was exactly 48in. According to their makeshift PVC measuring stick they said she was easily 2in too short and couldnt go on a couple of the rides she was so excited to go on. She was heartbroken! There is no way their measuring sticks are accurate! Even so we were able to save the day because their is plenty of rides my daughter was able to enjoy.

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is a priceless little gem, nestled up 7100 feet on a mountaintop, above Glenwood. Coming all the way from Phoenix, AZ to experience this adventure center did not disappoint! From the moment you park in the main parking lot, you are whisked up the mountain on a fun Gondola ride. I would highly suggest arriving there first thing in the morning when they open, as the lines to the rides were extremely short early in the day. Our family started on the Alpine Coaster (and we are so glad we did, as it had a long line for the rest of the day). We were pleased our small 8-year-old twins could ride with us on this coaster. The Giant Canyon Swing and the Haunted Mine Drop were also two of our favorite rides! All of the height requirements for children are clearly posted at each ride, so we felt extremely safe. Glenwood Caverns also offers several walking cave tours - I would highly suggest incorporating these in your day as well. Not only can you escape the heat for an hour or so, but the caves were astonishing! This park offer shade stations and misters in some areas, which is great for families spending an entire day there, and their food prices are rather reasonable as well. We were pleasantly surprised that all of their attractions, including the Rock Climbing Wall, Laser Tag, and the 4D Motion Theatre were all included in the general admission ticket price! This park should be on every familys summer bucket-list! Thanks Glenwood Caverns for a perfect family day!

The Adventure Park is a fun place to go. However, one thing you should be aware of. The children are able to ride several of the large rides. My grandson passed out 3 times on the giant swing from the g force. I have never witnessed someone passing out. I was glad that I was the one next to him because this was terrifying for him. If he was on the ride with another child he may have been injured. I had to hold his head still and let him know that he was going to be okay when he would come to. He did like some of the other rides though.

Great old place, best part is the cave tour and alpine coaster, unless you are into the thrill swing. They close very early (cave tours end around 5:30, park at 7) considering the gondolas are often stopped because of high winds, in which case they provide very hot shuttles which take forever. We also experienced a mix of staff, some very nice and helpful and some very rude to the point I had to report it. Dont know why a place thats been around so long isnt being run more smoothly. Still worth the trek if you are in Glenwood, nice to have some fun during these times. Most ppl complied with the mask orders especially in the necessary places.

This is a cool little amusement park. Little being the operative word. But its compact foot print makes getting around easy. The rides here are rowdy. The new mine drop is good, the canyon swing puts any viking ship ride you have been on to shame because of the pneumatic drive, even the spinng swing ride makes you pucker a bit. And everyone we met was super friendly and helpful. The only issue we had is the value. If we had to wait in line for rides the price is a tad steep at $50+. To top it off, the day we went two of the major rides were not operating which meant we had even less to do. Thankfully it was a slow day and the kids had a blast anyway.

Lived in Colorado 20years but this is the first time Ive made it to this place. While staying at Breckenridge, i decided this place offered a much better value than the alpine slide at Breckenridge. Well worth the drive. Views are stunning, and the several thrill rides that are unforgettable. The alpine slide is a blast, and at full speed, youll feel your car feel like it wants to become airborne. This park was not designed for those fearful of heights. The swing that launches you over the 1000foot drop leaves you looking straight at the ground far below. Caves are a great way to see fantastic formations and escape summer heat. Food prices are fair. Park is clean and unlike most any other Theme park in the US.

Very fun park. If the lift is not running. The bus ride to the top is scary. Enjoy.

Not for anyone afraid of heights! Multiple thrill seekers soon to be new favorite rides! A little pricey but we had more fun than Elitch Gardens. Skip the diner if you want to save a few bucks and eat at the snack bars outside.

Keep in mind this was a winter visit with an adult family. Fun to take the gondola and not too expensive but I will say the gondola ONLY HOLDS 5, not 6 which split you up. My gondola said it held 6 but others said 5. Regardless the views are stellar and the ride is smooth. Fun to see all the activities that I would have wanted to do as a kid. I would recommend for that kitschy tourist experience!
