This is an adventure you dont want to miss! Between the mine drop, the alpine coaster, 4d, cave tours, gondola ride, views and more, it is definetely worth a visit and an add to your bucket list. Family friendly and decently priced. What are you waiting for? Plan a visit now!

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is definitely a great place to take the kids! It is a really fun little park and even though we were there in November the kids loved the Alpine Coaster (we rode it 4 times) and the 4d theater. We didnt do the cave tours. Just not a big thing for us. We had some great hot chocolate (lots of flavors and a decent price) in the restaurant that overlooks the area from the top of the mountain. LOTS of pictures opportunities! The gondola going up and down was fun for the kids too. Very clean place and I bet even more fun in spring/summer when more stuff is open. Worth checking out for sure. Kids 4 and up will have a blast without a doubt!

Great place to have fun. The cavern tour was fun. The Alpine Slide was the best. And the gondola was really cool. We came during Thanksgiving, so several things were closed. I think they could have lowered their prices since several things were closed, but thats the tourist industry. Im sure its way better in the warmer parts of the year.

Visited the Kings Row cave, cool 45 min tour. Moderate number of stairs, not an issue for most people and kids, elderly might have issues.

The park is small, but organized and the rides all within a short distance. The caves are well worth seeing, and you can spend a solid 6 hours for your visit, assuming short lines. The alpine coaster is great, you get up to 30mph if you dont pull on the brakes and its just over half a mile long.Note, there is almost nowhere flat to walk, its all uphill or downhill or steps. The managed the social distancing pretty well, everyone seemed to have masks, although some of the visitors seemed to have forgotten they were supposed to go over their nose and mouth. When we were then the soft serve ice cream was being sold at half price in the last 30 mins. It was great and a bargain.

Look people, this is not Disneyland or Universal Studios, which is exactly why it gets 5 stars. Its a gem of an amusement park. The crowds are completely manageable. Ive been here 6 times over as many years, and not once have I regretted it. You are not being crammed into some mass of humanity to get sold the latest overpriced trinket or morsel and forced to believe youre in the happiest place in earth. The rides are enough for any adult to be entertained. Because of the mountain setting, the rides are positioned like no other amusement park youve ever visited. The kids love it to.The setting itself is so stunning. If you arent into rides and thrills, you can stay cool in the natural wonder of the caves, or just simply sit anywhere and enjoy the expansive views. The best part is the price. For what a 1 day park hopper costs at other unnamed places, you can take a whole family. You can also afford to feed the family too.Even though weve moved away from Colorado, we still come back as our amusement park destination of choice.

Visited Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park with some of our family from out of town. There was plenty of room to physically distance yourself from those around you. My family loved the rides and the experience. My wife and I decided to just watch this time around (we have experience the rides several times before). However, we still wanted to tour the Caves, but in the end, the line was too long to make it work for the rest of our plans for the day. The man at the customer service station happily refunded our Cave Tour Tickets. We were pleasantly surprised! Do business with GCAP. You and your family and friends will not be disappointed.

The price may seem steep at first but boy oh boy can you have a great time with the full day pass. My friends and I arrived at opening and there was almost no one there so we were able to do the rides over and over without any lines. The park isn’t huge so you run out of new things to do rather quick. That doesn’t mean the fun ends though, you can just keep doing the rides over and over til you get bored.

Great place for a cool (7100ft up) and fun time with over half a dozen ride that will get your blood flowing and stomach bursting with laughter and screams. Pick one of the 2 swings that carry you over the cliff looking down upon Interstate 70 and the Colorado River, a 2 person bunjee ride, relax in the ferris wheel or the lookout deck, then ride one of the 3 rollercoasters. One of the rollercoasters is a sitdown sled with brakes you control. Its called Alpine Mountain. That bad boy is FAST! You speed down the mountain twisting and turning as you control your rate of speed with the 2 hand brakes that are VERY easy to operate. Yes, you have an over the chest seatbelt. A smaller child can ride with an adult. At the bottom of the track, an automatic pulley system haul you back up top with a quite and relaxing ride that last about 3 minutes. You can cool off by going to one of the 2 cave tours. In mid-July, one cave was 52F degrees, while outside was 82F. There are 3 different admission prices: $20 (Gondola ride and park admission), $33 (Gondola and cave tours), $59 ( Gondola, cave tours, AND all rides unlimited times). Enjoy a good selection of snacks and drinks, alcoholic drinks too, from the snack bars, or some great dining at the restaurant that has an amazing dining area with a view that is breathtaking. The park hours are 7am to 7pm daily, except it closes at 9pm on Saturdays only. I saw get the $59 bracelet, take at least another $40 to $50, and spend 6+ hrs with rides, food, snacks, and drinks (non-alcoholic). Apologies for the lack of pics of all the rides. My fun was in a locker ($5 for the day) while I was riding and laughing my butt off with the wife and kids. Maybe next time, when wifey and I sneak away and go back for a date day of fun. Deuces!

The cave tours were very good. Tour guides were knowledgeable and funny. You have to take Gondola to go to the adventure park. Its a small park with great views, you can easily spend 3-4 hours checking out the park provided it is not very crowded. Its up on the hill, be prepared to do so up/down hill walk.

When the gondola was stopped for weather safety the staff handed out colored tickets to those who chose to wait. This lead just about all the customers to believe it was first come first serve. Many of us waited patiently in line for 1h+. When the gondola started to run again the staff moved the line, reversing the order, with no explanation started to serve customers who had waited ~30s vs those of us who waited for an h+. This put a damper on the whole day, families who waited with anxious or crying kiddos were given service after others who just came around the corner. This was so very unprofessional. Many of us were asking for more details and talked to the staff who said not only do the tickets not hold your place in line, you dont even need them to get on the gondola. We gave our 1h+ old tickets to the gondola operator who just threw them in the garbage. I just cant see us coming back. I hope others had a better time.Zander running the gemstone waterway did excellent!

Alpine coaster is the best ever. Never gets old. Mine drop is a blast and nothing like taking a swing over the canyon to wake you up. Awesome views from everywhere. Cave tour is awesome too. Food prices arent too crazy for an amusement park and good cold beer available too. Only thing that we didnt enjoy was honestly the soft serve ice cream it seems very not dairy like but not a big deal just putting it out there.

Review №51

Certainly a charming unique amusement park with a small number of awesome rides (the Alpine Coaster is a definite highlight and worth every second of the wait time). I would not recommend a vist during peak visit times (ie during a weekend in the summer). With a high volume of people and a small number of rides, the wait times are nearly unbearable. When attending the park during a peak time, avoid the Haunted Mine Drop at all costs - very long wait for a 60 second payoff.

Ja
Review №52

Lots of good things, but a lot of frustrating things as well. Really expensive for what it is, and you could do everything in 3 hours if it wasnt for waiting in all the lines. Same cost as 6 flags and not even close to the same quality, and the gondola is always slowing down or stopping due to wind. Its great if you are heading to Glenwood, but dont go to Glenwood just for the amusement park.
