This is my 3rd trip in as many days to utilize the driving range. Twice the pro shop closed before 530pm and another time the young clerk refused to sell me the amount of range balls I wanted. Un-freaken believable.Im a small business owner and if an employee skipped out before the posted closing time or refused to sell items we have sitting and waiting to be purchased they would be eliminated immediately.

I play here quite a bit. I do love the layout of the course. Prices can be fair especially twilight summer rates. I would like to warn that when in season The Legends books tee times every 7 minutes, backing up groups of players creating a pressured game. I should be giving 2 stars but I overall enjoy my time here. The course is in okay shap, do not expect great consistant conditions here. My reasoning for 3 stars is for the bunkers SUCK and many holes have greens in rough shape with divets(it happens) and TONS of poop from ducks, lots of ducks. They should be controlling the ducks to certain areas with decoy owls/gator heads. I have witnessed a duck being struck and killed by a golf ball last year because they were to abundant down the fairway. The photo I attached is from hole 6 displaying the abundant poop that screwed up my putt(may want to zoom in). I do enjoy this course but hope this review helps The Legends golf course make imrpovements and fellow golfers make a decision if they want to play here or not.

Best I have seen the course in 3 years.Just a little more sand in the bunkers and softer tee boxes.

I don’t normally leave reviews for golf courses, but felt it was prudent to do so after playing at the Legend this weekend. The recent reviews I read were accurate. I was doubtful at first in the reviews I read, so decided to play the course myself. However, I was very disappointed with the conditions. The BUNKER’s were absolutely terrible. Rocks in dirt — is almost the best way to describe the bunkers. Some did not even have rakes available, so that it in itself showed how much they care about the bunkers. In some cases it was hard as Clay just beneath the surface so it was basically like hitting off a cart path. In addition, the rough off of the fairway was very very bad. It was not even dormant Bermuda, it was more like dirt with dead weeds growing over it. Extremely hard ground with bare lies, made it very unenjoyable to play. Fairways were ok at best, but the ground was still very hard - seemed like they haven’t aerated in a long time. Overall, very disappointed to see an Arnold Palmer course like this one get let go to such bad conditions. I’m hoping this review makes its way to management so they can take in this feedback and hopefully make a decision to invest back into the maintenance of this once great course.

I posted about my experience last week and pointed out a number of reasons why my experience wasnt the greatest. I came today and was met by Dave who is the general manager. He expressed how sorry he was for my last visit and expressed that he was happy to see me back. I noticed almost every single one of the points i brought up last week was addressed and significantly better this time around. I had my wife and my little girl with me and we were experiencing some issues with the group behind us hitting into us. I was not happy to say the least, but Dave came out and diffused and handled the situation like a true professional. A lot of establishments would look at a negative review and just dismiss it and not care if they lose one customer. The fact that there were such significant improvements that quickly shows this staff does care and takes the comments as a way to improve. I will be playing this course regularly on the weekends from now on because of my experience today and professionalism showed by Dave.

Course was a bit in the dry side when we played. Greens were okay. Not sure the value is there. If the green fees were a bit lower, it would have been more palatable.
