Food court food was actually really good. Drinks were strong. Trip would have been better if covid distance was gone. It was hard to find a spot at the tables. Good times though.

This was the first time Ive gone to Desert Diamond since the pandemic started, and I was really impressed with the cleanliness. Their new facility is great as well with a wide variety of machines. I highly recommend this casino!

Desert Diamond Casino is fantastic. My sister and nephew took me there and I had a wonderful time. My sister gave me some money and the casino provided me with a players card and I had a great time. After you are done with one of the slot machines theres always someone there to disinfect for The next player to use. The food court there is awesome. You get your choice of American, Asian or Mexican food there I had the Arizona burger and onion rings there and it was superb there. Plus they give you a plastic glass there which is complementary and you get free refills of soda there. Its a great experience there, I highly recommend going there.

Highly recommended! We picked this place because the menu looked great and we were not disappointed. Great food, great service, and exceptionally priced very good. Great for a romantic evening, couples, and fine dining at its best. We will visit again soon!

Amazing fun on top of fun. This place has a good vibe that makes me feel comfortable & safe. It reminds me of a casino called Majestic Star in INDIANA.. I Love this place.

My girlfriend and I are going to be in every Casino in the United States of America and really died it is the bucket list it is our thing that were going to do as we get older that started doing theres only three in Arizona we have not been to by far she thinks this one is the worst but that is not fair we think because we have nothing there before the pandemic but right now it is impossible to even go there and play and enjoy it and it is not really safe its always too crowded when we go people are nice theyre kind of we had an issue and it wasnt even nicely resolved and it was our first time being there that it took me a while to go back my girlfriend refuses to go there at all

I think their decor was nice, I didnt win anything, but never expect to. However in Vegas you win you lose but able to play a long time. Here you just lose, lose, and lose and leave with, I could have just given all my money when I got there. At least I could of left broke but still said I had a good time....

I am very disappointed with the service to night as we complied to there requirement with mask . we had been restricted to the type of mask we could use . in light of the harsh restriction we tried to make good hummer with it with a mast with dog ears and was restricted from it with security. so to what difference with it with a person with a mask and hat does t make. stupid people

Desert Diamond is a decent casino, but they need to reopen their POKER room. Theres no excuse why it remains closed. They have everything in place with plexiglass for it to be operational. If Talking Stick and Wild Horse can reopen, then Dessert Diamond can as well. Get it together West Valley.

Best new Steakhouse in Phoenix! They even have a Prime Dry Aged Porterhouse. Next time I go, Im going in hungry so I can get that 32 oz beauty for myself. Their menu is a pretty standard steakhouse menu, but their table side service really sets them apart from a Flemings or a Ruths Chris. Plus they cooked the steak right! If you know and like good food, this is the place for you. If you know and like good wine, they have the best wine prices in town for high end wines. They even have The Prisoner by the glass for under $20 a glass. The staff works well together to give top notch service. I didnt take any pictures, I just stole these ones of their yelp page. But you should definitely check it out. Dont go in planning on spending $45 for two people...it is a high end steakhouse at a great high end price, so plan on spending $60-$80 per person. It is an experience well worth it!

So. I must say this. How the hell can you take all the precautions in the world!!! Then allow people to remove masks and blow smoke and flick ashes all over the place!! I sat away from people but when I was near some. HALF OF THEM HAD THERE MASKS AROUND THERE KNECK. AND NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. it just makes no logical sense to do this!! LAZY IS WHAT THE CASINO WAS. I will find a smoke free casino for now on!!

Went here so many times. Back when it was still small and in the first building when they waited for the new casino. It was amazing used to go all the time but then Someone stole my voucher which was I think $50 for food and bar. Its not about the amount. I play enough to get rooms everywhere. I dont play the cent machines. I loose couple grand here and there even have a players card to prove it. But After I was stolen from and no one seemed to care, I left and made it a rule not to go back. Why should I. No one cared at all. I was a bit shocked to be honest. i Live in casinos and spend money, Casinos have been the best service I have ever had, understanding, caring, friendly and more. But to my SHOCK the Diamond is not this way, I dont know why and trust me If I could find someone that really cared about this place I would share my opinion so that things can improve but no one to be found that cares and thats sad. Just to give you an idea at this new location in the short time they opened in the one hall they had i had about 10 hand pays and got comped all the time.I dont usually leave reviews but this made me really upset and I just cannot understand how such an amazing place that has so much business can treat me so badly. Must have enough business to not have to care, I can understand that. WOW. Just shocked because this was my favorite place, so close to my house. Bummer.

They have upped the interior quite a bit looks nice inside now but when it comes to playing they have like rows and rows of the exact same game....

The new casino is VERY nice. I will give it that. But the parking deck is a DISASTER waiting to happen. 2 way and very narrow. I hope they open some outside parking eventually so that you dont have to go into the death trap parking deck. Also security making you throw out your water bottle on the way in is ridiculous. They arent searching you. So why cant you bring in water? Machines are incredibly tight. Im sure its because they have to limit hours and the amount of people. Plus pay for all of the new Covid precautions. I liked the casino better when it was first opened in the other building. I do hope they keep the plexiglass between machines. Its nice even for when people are smoking next to you. Its not blowing in your face.

Hate to say it but i miss the old dd casino. They had better games. The new casino is nice and spacious, but they definitely need to make it non smoking or have a smoking section, and bring in more video poker machines.

I love what theyve done so far i was literally there from the beginning stage to yesterday I went and the growth was amazing. I actually recommend going there now. Not saying its better than vee quevia or definitely not than talking stick but they also havent finished all of west valley DDC&H. I really recommend. Checking it out now.

Getting in to casino from parking structure straight to elevators, you are asked to have mask or one will be provided. Elevator is operated by employees and hand sanitizer is available at every turn. Uncle entered into casino you pass by thermal cameras to see your temp. If you are smoking or drinking a beverage you are allowed to have mask down. Saw someone hit a jackpot on a slot and win 15k.

One word that prevails over my entire visit: loud. Constant level of noise. Smokers allowed so some areas are smokey. Penny, nickle, dime, quarter, dollar and up slots. Free soft drinks and water. Food court, coffee, pastries, American, Asian and Mexican cuisine. Very clean and very organized. As you enter the Casino the infra red cameras have already scanned and taken your temperature with the camera to protect from COVID issues; Completely non- evasive. Ssecurity people were cordial and friendly and opened to my irritating question about their technology. LOL! TY DESERT DIAMOND.

Fun times as always! I left with more $ than I came with this time. Thats always a plus. Atmosphere was nice, enough games not to get antsy waiting your turn.

This is the tightest casino I have ever been to I have never seen anyone win anything I have never won anything and believe me I’ve tried several times I’m not going back and don’t advise anyone to. They will take your money and fast I lost $400.00 11-23-20 in an hour last time I went and I’m from out of state but have went there several times when I visited the Phoenix area never won nothing always taking money out of my wallet not winning and putting it back just loosing every time.It’s BAD

Dont really care for this casino. Its clean got good food. But the machines are very tight and its hard to win here. I played a lot of machines here its a big rip off. The only machines that look like they pay off is the high roller machines. But dont take my word for it because I havent really played them. But just from walking around in that room Ive seen a few people win. I rated this place three stars. Because all the other machines dont like to pay out. Ive been here many times and I wish I havent.

Beautiful Casino, best looking one in the Valley.Payouts on the other hand are next to none. Ive been here 3 times in an attempt to have fun and win a little. Sorely disappointing, every time no win or even line payout. Machines dont payout at all. Went through $100 only to receive about $1.00 total in payout. Sadly Desert Diamond will not receive my business. Being the only Casino in the West Valley this is disappointing.

Last night, Oct 16, 2020 was our first visit to this place in spite of hearing about it a lot of times already. The place is conveniently located close to Cabelas @ 94th Ave. in Glendale, Az. Am impressed by how staffs are following the protocol re: health safety, from the elevator, where there is a particular operator assigned (so as not too many hands touching those buttons you know ) to proper social distancing (where only 4 people are allowed to take the elevator at a time) Before entering the casino, temperatures are being taken via thermal imaging as well. At the floor, the first that catches my eyes is the Food Court... very well kept, clean (and is frequently cleaned by a staff as soon as someone is done eating or hanging out) The variety of foods being offered (American, Mexican, Asian and the Coffee and Pastries section are sure to satisfy ones hungry tummy and picky taste buds ) , as well as the price are very reasonable too and take note, unlimited fountain drinks are included in the price :-) They also have this fruit flavor shot machines which you can infuse your water, in case youre not a fan of sugary drinks The slot machines in the gambling area are particularly separated by protective shields, tons of hand sanitizing stations within every area, and the well kept bathrooms are equally impressive.This place is worth checking, should you feel hangin out for some fun and excitement in gaming, every once in a while :-)

Its usually too packed to play what I want but today it was chill. I played the machine I wanted and won a pretty good amount. I gotta say I had a great experience at the Diamond today.

Beautiful new casino and parking garage are impressive. Their attention to keeping the casino covid19 free is also impressive. They make it possible for guests NOT TO TOUCH more surfaces then necessary (elevator floor buttons..the have employees as operators). Could use looser machines though.

I love this place for many reasons. I have spent 4 hours at one machine. It is wonderful therapy..when I am sitting at that machine,I am at such peace .I helps me deal with covid. I like the fact that they are very serious about the mask situation.It is a huge beautiful place and I must say the machines are pretty friendly. There are a wonderful selection of beautyful machines.

If you play black jack this is not the place for you. They have a waiting list with at least 20 + people already on it when you show up and only have about 6 tables open with only 4 seats available per table. Hours will pass before you get a seat and you literally will have to take the only seat that is available, you can’t even choose what table you’d like to play at. They need to get rid of the list and open more tables. Until then i give a one star for poor effort to accommodate the card playing customers and recommend all card players go to another casino.

We lost a phone here and although security was polite they were also little to no help. It was clear they had bigger fish to fry than watching security footage to help us out. This casino has the potential to be a fun place to be, but it is so full of drug addicts and smoke it is hard to relax and have a good time here. Constantly packed full of people, you have to scoot by everyone very awkwardly. Also the ride share entrance is very difficult for both patrons and drivers to find.3 stars because of friendly staff, clean floor, quick bartenders, and clean bathrooms.

The staff was attentive. My phone fell out of my pocket and someone playing there took it. Security helped look for it in multiple areas. I ended up using the find my phone app and getting it back from someone who took it, but the security did try to help. As far as games go they have a horse race game that I played in Vegas on my 21st (similar idea, but the bets are more) that is a fun game. The slot machines have plexiglass between them and you can only sit at every other because of the new rules. The card tables have similar setups. They also have no contact temperature scanners upon entering.

The Casino was packed but there was enough room to play the slots. What I didnt see is anyone cleaning machines or the casino the whole time I visited, except for the restrooms! I know its a busy place, but to keep people safe thats the least they could try to do a little more!

We just visited now that they reopened, And it was amazing.It is really spacious inside, tons of slot machines, some tables as well.We had lunch at their sports bar, and the burgers we had were spectacular

Very clean and nice plastic dividers! Id like those left even when covid is over. Helps block the smoke! They even have cleaning crews randomly wiping down the slot machines.

Its all glam and no glory. With all the hype I heard, it wasnt what it was cracked up to be. And I didnt win. I also dont like that it only stays open til midnight. You are allowed to smoke in there tho(a plus).

Desert Diamond is very clean & most people stay 6 ft apart but Im not much of a gambler. We ate at 1986 Steakhouse! Filet mignon & lobster tail special was delicious! Highly recommend for nice dinner!

For a new casino I would expect better ventilation of the cigarette smoke. Very smokey and the non-smoking area is so small it is a joke. Statistics show that there are more non-smokers than smokers. Other states have casinos that are non-smoking with a nice area away from everyone so the smokers can smoke.

Went back last night, not one person was telling anyone not wearing their mask correctly or at all anything. A lady had her mask in her hand and walked right in front of 2 security people and they didnt say anything. In a walk through I saw 31 people not wearing a mask correctly and 7 with thiers completely off. The signs to wear a mask are for show, clearly they dont care so if you dont want to wear a mask this is probably a place to go.

I know it is NOT your fault but I lost a bucket of money today.. The last time I came the same thing happened too. It just that I was unable to switch machines because there are none to switch to. We were there right at 10:00 am I feel pressured to stay on a cold machine. Plus people are standing behind you wait for you to lose and leave.The staff is friendly and the casino is pretty and clean. The parking is a mess if you don t arrive early.It was just not very relaxing and fun for either of us.

I got all excited when this Casino opened in the area where i live.The Property, Design, Food, Staff are all amazing but the slot machines are a disaster, I lose 9 out of 10 times, $100 won’t last you 5 minutes!!I know how to play on the slot machines, But the machine doesn’t give enough bonuses or it gives (low winning bonus), The balance almost never go over the initial balance for you to cash out some winning.My brother in law and i used to go at least twice a week and now it’s been over a month since our last visit and most likely won’t go there again,It’s not possible that we have lost over than 2K in less than a month trying to capture some winning.This is more like the management trying to collect as much cash as possible quickly for the Casino to recover it’s losses due to it’s closure period during this Pandemic.Very disappointing!

Not allowed to bring in ones own bottle of water, however you can smoke like a chimney. You have to wait on social distancing circles to get in an elevator ( 4 to a car) to casino entrance. There was a line to get back in elevator to leave but very organized. Very clean. Tons of machines.Very crowded on a Sunday...economy must be doing great..thanks to Trump!

BEAUTIFUL casino! The nicest one I’ve seen here in Arizona and nicer than some I’ve seen in Las Vegas. However,VENTILATION IS A MASSIVE ISSUEI understand smoking is relatively standard in casinos but it’s almost hard to breath in the building sometimes.Also due to social distancing, though it is quite a spacious casino, it feels tight and claustrophobic. Not a lot of available machines.MOST IMPORTANT TO NOTEI’ve never seen more confusing slot machines. None of them are clear on how to play or anything. This casino seems to have strayed a bit to far into the future, using slot machines so digitized, that they almost seem impossible to win.I am not sure I’ll be returning until a more regular experience is available, if we ever reach that point. But if we do I’m sure desert diamond will truly begin to sparkle, as it is already a stunning sight.

So much better than when it originally opened. Remodel is beautiful and staff seem very nice, now if the payouts could be better and more often. Minor negatives, tge parking garage layout i a little odd but it works, also they are allowing smoking inside the casino whereas the trend with other casinos is to only allow it outsidev. Ill def. Go back

Such a beautiful casino. People were hitting left and right. Hubby and I won a few hundred ourselves. The food court was decent. However...the line for the elevator was insane. We ended up just taking the stairs.

This place is always packed to tie gills, difficult to find machines. I did however win for my first time EVER here, and one other time. 4⁰0 each time :( but lets face it, casinos here arent casinos there.

Not much bigger than old place, popular slots are non existent or only one exists within other games, drinks area not kept clean same goes for machines. I am not a smoker and if people want to smoke no problem, but be aware where your ashes drop. Show a little respect for others as well as yourself. Casino needs more help or better awareness training of staff.

Theres a super handsome Security/EMT thats there in the evenings with blonde combed hair and green eyes and he is really nice and super helpful. You should give him a raise!

You cant walk through the place without seeing people hitting jackpots. Desert Diamond Casino is beautiful and has some fantastic food! Nineteen 86 Steakhouse is the best high end steakhouse in the West Valley with the best wine prices in all of Phoenix area.

They have alot of covid precautions in place, it felt clean and safe. It was alot of fun, the drinks were good, and even better we won. They have alot more slots and the led lights everywhere are cool.

Its a beautiful place brand new lot of people were winning unfortunately I didnt win but the food was excellent I had a western burger with fries really delicious burger and the fries were excellent. And the staff at the food court was really friendly and professional.This is the first time that I went to a casino out here in the valley. This is a brand new casino that just opened its doors a few months ago. The staff for the most part is very friendly definitely would give this place a 5-star rating on just the food. They are taking the proper precautions during the pandemic they do require you to wear a mask and like most New York casinos they have a new ventilation system so theres not a lot of smoke in the air for the smokers that are there cuz theres a lot of them. I think people would really like this place they do have a lot of security so I wouldnt worry too much about bad things happening but like I said be aware of your surroundings. I am an avid slot gambler and last night I visited this place... it is a joke. It was very busy and their covid measures were beyond what is necessary. More machines were off than on! I was able to play 3 slots... $100 on each machine didnt even last 5 minutes. I was left with a balance of $.71 but apparently they only cash out in whole dollars... essentially they just STOLE another $.71. I have a few choice words for these theiving clowns that I will reserve for personal discussions. Needless to say I will NEVER return.

The casino is beautiful. We went on a Saturday evening and bcuz of covid half of the machines are blocked. It was so busy that we had to wait until someone got up from their machine and quickly hurry to sit down before anyone else.

The remodel is fabulous, it is a lot bigger so it is more easy to get turned around but they did good. If you do get turned around there is more than enough awesome staff that is ready to help!

Super busy and covid-over-kill on the temperature checks and elevator restrictions. We had dinner at 1986..... one of my favorite upscale restaurants! Still amazing!!

Its a casino and thats it. They have mostly what you need. They are restricted due to this political pandemic. So if you are worried or going to complain about the virus just stay home instead of ruining other peoples fun. Yes way to many smokers but what can you do? Beers are fairly priced. I win something everytime I go but I also stay away from slots. Keno or video poker is my go to but not to many machines because obviously they win more often. Walking away after a win is sometimes my problem. Then again I take only what I am willing to lose. Food at some restaurants looks delicious.

My girlfriend and I went there simply to kill some time. As well as get out of the heat! And werent expecting to leave winning anything. But even tho we played for a good two hours on the forth of July with only 15$ each. We ended up leaving with a extra 70$ more then I even went to spend. So all in all I had a good time so did my girl!

I went before coronavirus, and I really enjoyed it. The best margaritas I ever tasted. The bar was very fancy and I liked the chic furniture and decoration. The best place for a romantic dinner and a glass of wine.
