There is a half mile drive around the pond perfect for biking. The cars have a speed limit of 15 miles per hour so it is safe for biking. You have to avoid the walkers and other bike riders but it should not be a problem.
A nice place to walk on the bike paths or around the duck pond itself! Nice little area that has a nice creek/river/waterfall that people fish in. Cozy and makes you feel close to nature. Quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go walking with the extended bike paths. If youd like to see more of my pictures (Instagram): rahsphotos
Nice park with plenty of parking and multiple trails to go on. You can walk a little to connect you to the Saddle Brook trail which covers 6 miles from end to end.
Simply a great park for walking running or walk your furry- kid. Stop by and enjoy yourself!
Great path around the pond for the kiddos with natural entertainment from the ducks & the occasional turtle that can be seen from the observation deck, usually not too crowded, people are courteous & keep their distance during the pandemic. Frequent & clean benches, some on the shade, to sit & take a break. Highly recommend!
Beautiful scenery. I love that there was a playground for children and it was amazing to see the waterfowls.
A good place to clear one mind of these troubling days. You take a moment of your worries. The view is beautiful.
Great little duck pond at this section of Saddle River county park. Theres a walking path, as well as the road, that circles the pond. Lots of ducks, geese and, of course, squirrels. It has tennis courts, a kiddie playground with a jungle gym and a fishing pier. (Water kinda green) It also has a lot of parking, benches, picnic tables, a gazebo and a small covered pavillion. The restroom facilities are reasonably new. No sports fields. Peaceful section and nice for picnicking. Use caution driving as the road is shared with bikers and walkers.
Peaceful, especially during sunset sitting opposite the sun. It is calming.
Love this place, clean and well kept. The people who visit are friendly and courteous. Plenty of connecting trails for bikes and hiking.
Nice place to spend with kids when the weather is good.
Beautifully kept. Nice paths for walking, hiking, biking, etc..... little bit of nature in the suburbs.
This is a great place to see geese. Not sure why they call it the duck pond. There are about 15 geese for every duck. Still a great beautiful place to enjoy nature. Also my friend Doug tried to kiss me here once. That was wackadoo. I have also made friends with a family of deer. The parents are Johnathan and Catherine. They are currently in a custody battle regarding their children Simba and Nala. Johnathan does not want to pay child support.
It was good went with my son and his family. Took grandbaby girl #2 fishing for the 1st time. She caught 4 bluegill fish and so did her mom. My son 7 and my daughter caught 8 all thrown back to hopefully get bigger for next time...lol
Nice sized pond that’s part of the county park. Plenty of benches all around it and lots of places to sit and have a picnic also. The playgrounds and grills are currently not able to be used. Only drawback is sometimes lots of geese poop.
Nice place for a walk or cycling with family.
Awesome park. Well maintained with great running/walking/biking paths
Great bike trail over 7 miles thru at least 5 towns
Always like coming to this park. Make sure to walk the path which runs along the brook. This bike and walking path runs for over seven miles and connects four Bergen County park sites. Benches along the path provide ample opportunity to relax and take in natures magnificence. The changing colors of the leaves are an added bonus this time of year.
Been coming here for 50 years. Lovely spot.
Loved watching the mother duck with her little ducklings
Glen Rock duck pond is a great place to relax anytime. There is a walking path with benches around the pond and shaded areas with picnic tables nearby. Theres a playground and tennis courts too. There is easy access to the Saddle River County Park bike path which leads to either the Dunkerhook park or the Ridgewood or Saddle Brook duck ponds depending which direction you walk. You can even extend the walk to Rochelle Park if you want a close to 6 mile walk one way.
Lovely spot for a walk! Paved path good for strollers. Nice pond
Great park.. Lots of parking. Clean, safe..
Very nice place to visit. The ducks and geese are enjoyable to watch. They are pretty much friendly ESPECIALLY Ducks . This is their land so respect the property and the animals. Keep your area clean and dont throw garbage in any inappropriate places. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR IF YOU HAVE KIDS AND THEY WANT TO RUN AFTER THEM!! NO! Its not a circus ! I wouldnt want to be chased either! If you dont like animals, especially DUCKS and Canadian geese than stay away. The area surrounding you is beautiful.
This place is just perfect for relaxing walk, jug or just simply sit & watch pond, ducks & birds watching!

Quiet po d. Good access to the Saddle River Pathway.
Lovely. Fall wildflowers and butterflies along the lake.
A lovely local park that is interconnected to 3 or 4 other towns with paved bike paths and restrooms at each town. Really beautiful in the spring and if you bike in the summer, you will be in the shade of trees most of the time so it is quite comfy.
Relaxing

This park is awesome! Great big place to work out, walk, run, take the kids to the park. Big jungle gyms ladys and gentlemen, big plus. 2018 summer stay fit live long everyone.
Great for taking a long stroll. Goes for miles through many towns. Can get crowded on weekends
Mr tedesco you are not doing a good job in managing the parks
Great place for children to play, but be careful when fishing. Most fish have anchor worms/parasites.
Great to have a good walk, just watch out for some of the crazy people on bikes..
Relaxing
