Extremely rude staff. Horrible service. Was starving and came in to get some takeout, first however when I asked for the restroom they basically told me that they arent a free restroom????????????????? I was going to get some food but now Im never coming back!!!Wouldnt recommend to anyone who enjoys good customer service.Service: 0/5Food: ?/5wish I tried it but I guess another place will get my business.1 star for the benefit of the doubt that the food MIGHT be good. Excellent Thai food. My favorite appetizers are the curry puffs.Great flavor with a flaky crust. Best Thai food Ive found in the western suburbs. Spicy basil chicken is one of our favorite dishes.

I just enjoy their food. I always get fantastic service there. The place is well kept and the workers are always very kind. Will visit here again.

The food is really good and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the host kept interrupting us with random stories. He was speaking so long to other patrons to the point it took along while for him to come back with a check or refill our water glasses. I will try it again to see if he settles down a little.

3 words, Shrimp Fried Rice!! Their shrimp fried rice is the absolute best Ive ever feasted upon. How they get it so fluffy is beyond me. They also use the big jumbo shrimp and not the cheap little mini ones other places like to use. I always order the pad woon sen (which is on point as well) for dinner and get an order of shrimp fried rice to take for lunch the next day.

I feel this is the best Thai in DuPage County for sure. Maybe the best I have had outside of Thailand. Very clean and priced nice. Owner is friendly and chatty if you want.

This restaurant is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. everytime I I need a good supper, this restaurant comes instantly to my mind. superb and varied food and a large menu.well mannered team, and great atmosphere. Not less important, the bill is fair. I tell about this restaurant with no hesitation.

My favorite thai place. Food is unmatchably good. The only thing I would suggest is to ask the server to talk less so people can enjoy their food. He is old chap so out of respect could not ask him to stop ...I kinda enjoyed the conversation but it did get a little too much

Pad Thai is not supposed to be spicy. Theirs isnt. Just great savory sweet and a little bitter from sprouts. Also has a robust texture and mouth feel. Not at all slimy like some Ive had. Tom Yum not on the lunch menu. They made it special for me. Some of the best Ive had in 40 years of eating Thai.

I had the same experience as John Fletcher. Guy working the front told me to get out when I asked him if he could be bothered to serve me. He was joking and chatting with a table for 15m. I watched another customer wait and then walk out. When he got to me and asked me what I wanted, I asked him if he could be bothered to serve us. Note that we were both take-out orders.He told me he did not like my attitude and to get out. So I did. For good.He must own the place since I cant imagine anyone working there behaving this way.

Delicious food, quirky service.My local friends recommend this restaurant as one of their favorites, and warned me about the funky service. After having lunch there I agree.I had the green curry with tofu, which was delicious. Veggies not overcooked, and the sauce was flavorful and spicy.

We ordered the Tom Kha soup. It was basically coconut milk. I called to ask why the soup was just white, and the owner laughed at me. He told me I was wrong and that’s not how they make it at his restaurant. Nice customer service buddy. You lost our business for life!

My family loves this local Glen Ellyn restaurant! The food is always fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared by the owner/chef. Cashew stir fry and the Mussuman Curry are our favorites. The experience is to be savored. Great dine in or carry out!

Zero Stars. Owner/waiter is unhinged. Seems friendly enough at first but he made a mistake on our order, and when I pointed it out, he became ridiculously irate. Something he could easily fix. He told us to stop talking and to not come back. What a creep! Will never go back!

The food is good but it has been impossible to order anything from them lately, is this place closed? Whenever I call I get a busy signal or no one answers and its during hours that they are open. Ive even driven there and seen someone inside but they refused to unlock the door. The food is good but the hassle isnt worth it

Perfect for a quick lunch if your in the area. Price is fair for the quality (good) food and the portions are just right. I ordered 1 appetizer, they hooked it up with two so that was nice of them.

Panang Curry was very good. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Quality was top notch, and portions were appropriate. Id go again.

A must try. The service is great for a new place along with the food! It is quick but I went at a time of low service. Extremely good with average price to portion and quality. Would reccomend the potstickers, crab rangoon and the orange chicken! Those are all extremely good and taste so delicous! Would reccomend over many chain and non chain chinese and thai places. You dont feel like youre gonna gain 50 pounds from the chicken, potstickers or anything mentioned as there is less breading and healthier overall. Love the place and people the futures looking good for this place. Love it.

Yes zero stars...Ive liked the food here. Stopped in tonight and the guy working the front was dealing with broken glass. I watched him sweep the floor touch the broom and the dirty end of the dust pan. Then go directly over to the kitchen window and deliver food to two tables. When he got over to my table he asked what i would like, i polietly said Id like him to wash his handsHis response was to tell me he wasnt in a good mood so I had better watch it. He got really angry at me for asking him to wash his hands. I told him I had watched him sweep and touch the broom and dust pan then go straight to handling food. I then walked out.I will call the health department too. I had thought he was just busy and didnt think of it, now I know its that he didnt care.Too bad I liked the food, I wonder if the people in the kitchen know how he is in the front.I had to give it one star so it would accept the review.

Im a big fan of thai food. Unfortunately this restaurant falls a tad short. Aside from the quircky service from the owner, the food was mediocre. The red curry lacks flavor and richness that Thai food is known for. The texture on the thai wings were about the best things there. That might be something you could try. Im sure there are many regulars to this restaurant, but its just not for us. Try the new Thai Kitchen in Lombard. Youll be able to taste the difference. Not sure if wed go there again.

Let me start off by saying that the pad thai here is fantastic. My three stars refer to the service. I called an order in for carryout at 5:55 p.m. I was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. I arrived at 6:40 p.m. and was told it was going to be another 20 minutes. When I pointed out that I actually waited an additional 10 minutes to come in, the owner challenged me on the time of my order. He pulled his order ticket and he placed the order at 6:16 p.m. when I asked him why he waited 20 minutes to enter my order he basically called me a liar until I showed him my phone with the time the call was placed. Pretty disappointing to not only not have my food ready but also be insulted to boot.

Zero stars.Our Family and my friends family went to this restaurant last Saturday evening. There was only 1 customer in the restaurant. All other tables were empty. The person at the counter declined us stating that they did not allow 8 people. I had never experienced something like this before. Thought of sharing my experience.

The food is definitely worth the odd service style...

The food was decent, but portions were small, making it a little pricey. For $12, I shouldnt have to have a sandwich when I get home immediately afterward. Service was poor -- we were the only party in the place and we sat for 10 minutes before the waiter came over to see if we wanted anything. No, we just thought we would come in and sit for a while ... The same waiter failed to notice we needed our water refilled and couldnt remember which of us got which entrée. And finally, it took longer than it should to get the check, pay the bill and be on our way. If the place was really busy, I would be more forgiving about the service, but we were the only ones there (aside from some take out orders).

Love the food, I have tom yum noodles and it was really good, as an Asian who love anything coconut I got myself a sticky rice coconut deserts, wow one of the best... Oh the service was outstanding, the waitress was v v v sweet....

Average thai food located in a strip mall off of Butterfield Road. Prices were ok and portion sizes were averages. Nothing that really sets this place out from other Thai/Asian places.

I grew up in Thailand for the first 18 years of my life, and this is the closest thing to legit Thai food I have had in the Chicago suburbs. Definitely try the fried rice, but everything else is good too.

This was our 3rd visit to M&W. As a work group, we have weekly trips to many area Thai places. The first visit was shortly after opening. The service was poor, the soup cold, the food overpriced for lunch, and the quality ho-hum. But that can be forgiven right after opening. Our 2nd trip was marginally better, albeit awkward (listening to the owner berate the chef in the back). We decided to give it another shot. Wow.. big mistake. Id love to comment on the food, but we couldnt get that far.We walked into an empty restaurant shortly after noon on a Thursday and asked for a table for 5. The host (owner) offered us a booth with a chair on the end. We did not feel like squeezing and I asked if we could put two tables together. He informed me that we only do that with a reservation (you know, because everyone makes reservation for 5 people for a strip mall restaurant on a Thursday afternoon). I thought he was joking, but he was dead serious and we were speechless. After one in our group suggested that maybe we just go to another place, he very rudely told us that, yeah, maybe we should. As we left he became even more rude (as if he was surprised we were actually leaving) and told us no other restaurant could accommodate us. We drove up the road to Simply Thai in Wheaton where were greeted with a friendly smile by both the cooks and the the server.Unless you are taking a College of DuPage class on how NOT to run a restaurant, skip this place. There are many other fine Thai places in the area which offer better service and far better food.

Small place, family owned, the spring rolls were fab-u-lous, the kids meals with chicken tempura and fried rice were awesome and ordered twice since, the Tom Kar soup was delish, we have been there twice and they say theyll start DELIVERY to the Wheaton/Glen Ellyn area -- which would be a miracle since we have no decent asian delivery. Hope they succeed -- this location on the corner of Park/Butterfield has really high turnover. (tell your friends! go eat!)

Didn’t even go here, called to make a reservation for dinner for eight people. Was told their kitchen wasn’t equipped to handle cooking for 8 people so we wouldn’t be able to sit or eat together. How do you have a restaurant that can’t cook for 8 people?!? No wonder people said orders take forever!!
