Ive never done a escape room before and they made it a bunch of fun. We did the Double Agent mission as a group of 6 people and it was a blast.Hunter was a really cool game master / guide, and they did a great job in spite of the whole covid thing. I would highly recommend and plan to setup another visit sometime soon.

Best way to enjoy the day inside in a safe way. We played 3 games. I it was great. We had masks and felt very safe and the games were a lot of fun. We have done over 30 escape rooms and these two were some of our favorite ones. Only 3 of us played double agent and the asylum and we got out of both with time to spare. Thank you for the great time.

My friends and I have done almost every escape room within the area, and can confidently say that this place is the best. The rooms are challenging and interesting, with fun themes. We completed all three rooms, all of them with unique and interesting puzzles. In addition, Brian was a fantastic Game master. Great experience

I totally would recommend this place! The escape room itself was fun to do with lots of puzzles to be solved. Our instructor was super nice and always helped us when we needed hints. He also explained the rules and how to play the game really well.

We celebrated my daughter’s 13th Birthday here with her friends and loved the experience. It is very clean and fun and challenging! The owner is awesome at explaining everything and making it all memorable experience!

My family had a great time at the CluedIn Escape Rooms. There was 9 of us, ranging in ages from 8 to 63, and everyone was able to contribute to solving the mystery, The Game Master. Brian, our host, was wonderful, warm and friendly. The time flew by, and yes, we solved the puzzle before our time was up. Afterwards we did a team photo, making our own signs, CluedIn provided the craft materials and Brian snapped our team picture on our phones. We are definitely going back to take on the other games.

Brian was extremely accommodating with our group. He was very responsive to all questions and was wonderful to work with. The escape room itself was SO fun too! It is conveniently locates off Roosevelt and near highways. I would definitely recommend!

Such a great experience during our first experience playing the Gamemaster as a group of 10, that we wanted to come back for my husbands birthday. We played the Double Agent this time. Both games have been planned with such creativity and detail! Many fun twists and careful planning included! We look forward to trying out the last game in the near future.

My son did this for his 13th Birthday. He and his math heavy buddies beat the clock by more than 8 minutes. He said it was awesome. Would definitely recommend to parents with gamer kids, to find out if they are learning anything.

Brought my three buddies over there to try out the Double Agent room and it was pretty tough but it had some really cool clues that all made sense once we saw everything at the end of our time. We all really enjoyed the experience so go check it out and say hi to Brian for me! Thanks again!-Dan!

My family and I try to do a few escape rooms every year, its become a wonderful tradition of ours. We absolutely loved this room! We played Double Agent which they ranked as an 8/10 difficulty room and also their hardest current room. We finished with about 14 minutes to spare, but had to fight hard for every puzzle. Great mix of combo locks, word puzzles, maps, clocks, and even some physical challenges. I highly recommend this room for all experienced escape room fans out there.

The room was fun for the 11 year old boys birthday party we hosted there for my son. However the party host was very rude and short with the kids. He did not have much patience for them & never really greeted us or smiled. He didn’t want to answer a lot of questions he did a lot more scolding them then letting them explore and have fun. There is a sign that says “free cake if you can escape”. The party host said to the kids - there is no cake you’re not going to cry are you?? In a very rude condescending manner. It was unacceptable for the amount of money we spent there.

We had so much fun the first time around that we went back a week later. Brian was awesome and went above and beyond. Well be back in the future. Highly recommend The Game Master room.

Done about ten different escape rooms in the city and suburbs. We did the Double Agent room here with a group of 3, and it was definitely one of the best Ive ever done. Great mix of puzzles, technology, and fun. Non-linear, which I prefer. Finished with just a few minutes on the clock. Good story and the host was very friendly and kind. Probably on the more difficult end of the rooms Ive done.

CluedIn Escape rooms are outstanding! We have now played the Game Master and Double Agent games. Brian (the owner) has a really great take and approach to his eascape room designs making the rooms very unique and CONSTANTLY FUN! As an escape room owner and designer myself, I really enjoy his games! I can’t wait to do his new room Asylum! OUTSTANDING JOB BRIAN!

Just got done with my first experience at an escape room! Chose this place because clients had recommended it and it did not disappoint! We had a group of 6 and did the Asylum room. It kept us on our toes for sure! Would highly recommend this place, the staff was really great and into character! We will be back to try the other 2 rooms they have!

What a fun experience! My husband and I challenged the asylum and it was awesome. This was our first escape room experience so having Brian there to guide us through what to expect was great. He designed these rooms and the incredible attention to details as a parent from the moment you step inside. We required a couple of subtle hints but it was so exciting when we figured out a clue and it made you want to figure out the next one. We can’t wait to go back with our sons. I highly recommend it.

We defeated the game master. Great fun for a group of kids and 2 adults. Many video game Easter eggs and references show the level of detail put into this room.

We had a great experience at Clued In! We had a group of 6 (2 first timers) and we did the Double Agent room. It was hard but it was fun! You can ask for help if you want, which we did a lot, and they gave us some clues to help solve the next puzzle. They put A LOT of thought into the puzzles, clues, room decorations. We were impressed and are excited to try another room!

The Double Agent room was excellent! Challenging but solvable, unique ideas for clues, and a great scenario. We thought this to be one of the better escape rooms we have done! Well done!

Brian at CluedIn Escape Rooms in Glen Ellyn was simply a terriffic host!!!This was our first time in an Escape Room and we couldnt have asked for a better host that was understanding, patient and kind! We didnt end up escaping but Brian insisted that we got to about 75% complete! If we would have just had another hour!!!! The point is that we had fun even though we didnt escape! Brian is working on some other Escape challenges and I hope to attend another one at the easy level! Thanks Brian!!!

This place was awesome! I had so much fun and I would recommend it to any family or friend group looking for something different to do. Ive done an escape room before but this place was a lot more helpful and made the game so interesting. We had 9 in our group but everyone was working on different things and we all were so invested. Every time we got something right we all were super pumped. Definitely would say its a mood booster and gets your gears grinding. If youre thinking about it, do it!! Its an awesome experience thats fun for the whole group.

Incredible! The owner was incredibly polite and extremely talented in his role as he guided our group through the escape room. I cant say too much here without giving things away, so I will just say this is the best new business Ive been to in the western suburbs in a long time

Celebrated my birthday with friends and what a great/fun experience. There were so many puzzles and challenges that everyone got to solve something and we escape with 27 mins to spare. Highly recommend visiting CluedIn!

The pop-up escape room was a lot of fun and very creative. It was Stranger Things themed and took elements from both the show and the brewery that hosted it. That was really cool! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and fun experience that makes you think. I cant wait to try again!

What a WONDERFUL experience! My family and I went to CluedIn yesterday and had a BLAST! It was so much fun and such a great time. This was our first experience at an escape room and we will definitely be back for another time. We can’t wait to tell EVERYONE we know about it. The host “Brian” was also amazing. All around great time with the family!

Best escape ever! We finished the Asylum with three minutes to spare but we have to admit that some of that was just pure luck. Some really interesting twist and riddles. Hunter was our guide and made it fun.

We did the Gamemaster with 2 adults and 4 kids, (ages 9-13). We had a great time and loved the detail given to our storyline and clues! We met the owner and creator before beginning our room, and he very friendly and good at setting the kids up for success. It was obvious that he wanted everyone to have a great time.

Something new and fun to try out. Would go back again.

Really fantastic escape room with multi layers, automation, and fantastic complexity.We went with our 3 boys (15, 13 & 10) and finished with 8:23 to spare. This is a great outing for families, birthday parties, corporate outings and church groups.Highly recommend it!!!

This was our first escape room & we all had fun! I reached out to them to book a couple weeks in advance to let them know that a member of our party is on the Autism Spectrum and I would like of we could have a room to ourselves so he would be more comfortable in participating. Without hesitation they responded that they would block the rest of the openings so we had the room to ourselves. Our room leader was Dan & he was great! If we got stuck or started heading in the wrong direction, he would gently guide us back on track. They do a really good job with the room set up & cryptic hints. We all had fun & will definitely return!

Our family of 4 went to the Escape room The Asylum. We had a fun experience. It was engaging, challenging and interesting.

We have a great time. Perfect for our team building activity, but would be equally fun with a group of friends. Not sure the dynamics with strangers. The Escape room had plenty of creative clues for all ages and levels. Will Deyo again

CluedIn Escape Room - The Asylum was a very fun and quite challenging for our group. I believe the host mentioned that only 40% of groups make it fully through the room. At the end of the hour time limit, we were at the very last puzzle and about to escape, but we werent able to make it in time. If you are a fan of escape rooms, I would give this one a try!

This was my first ever escape room, but my friends have done more than a handful. We all had an amazing time and they said it is definitely one of the best they’ve been to. We opted for The Game Master room because we had an 8 and 11 year old with us so we didn’t want anything too difficult. We escaped with only 1 minute and 7 seconds left!! We can’t wait to go back and try The Asylum room and the new room opening later this month!! Thank you Jason for a great night out!

We had an amazing time in the Double Agent room. This was my 85th room, and I would definitely rank it in my top 10. The room was challenging, innovative, and well thought out.

CluedIn was GREAT! We chose the Game Master puzzle, and it did not disappoint. We included our 10 and 7 year old boys in this experience, and they loved it! I would definitely recommend this experience.

We really enjoyed the new game-themed room. It was fun, unique, and paced well. A great option to initiate younger players since it centered around board-and-video-games. Probably my favorite of the 8 that Ive done in the area. The owner is passionate about providing a great experience for all levels. He told us about his plans to add more rooms that I am excited to try. I have done two rooms here and will keep returning as new challenges are added.

All I can really say is WOW.This is quite possibly the greatest escape room place that I have ever visited. I came in with my girlfriend and her family and we did both the Game Master and Double Agent rooms (you can bet that were coming back and doing the Asylum and anything new that they come out with next).The level of care that the owner and his staff put into this place is clear as day from the moment that you walk in. The place is well maintained and you feel like youre walking into a hotel lobby when you get in. They have neat little puzzles that you can work on if you get there early and are pretty lenient with the schedule as well (they let us go into the room early).The quality of the rooms is absolutely incredible. I dont want to spoil much so I wont go into the nitty gritty of the rooms, but I can speak for the quality of the puzzles and the rooms themselves.In regards to the quality of the puzzles, they are extremely well thought out. When the owner was creating these rooms, he clearly didnt stoop to the level of similar escape room companies. There arent many (if any at all from what I recall) dumb math puzzles or generic puzzles of that sort. Every single puzzle I did in both those rooms was a completely new experience and something that I had never done before because they correlated to the room itself.That leads me to the quality of the rooms themselves, every room was unique and all the puzzles were personalized to the room. Im a gamer myself, so the Game Master room was a real treat and Double Agent was just awesome in it of itself because of a fantastic and original twist that the owner put in (youll have to visit and find out what it is for yourself, but trust me, its worth it). Every room followed its theme incredibly, and you truly felt immersed in the story that was presented to you.Furthermore, I dont even want to begin to think about the technical side of these rooms, as the quality and innovative technology that is used blew me away. There were things in these rooms that I had never seen, or could honestly even really think of given the opportunity.I also want to talk about the owner a bit, because he is incredible. From the moment we stepped in, he was there to greet us. You can tell he really cares about the company hes created, and thats why you immediately get that satisfactory small business vibe when you walk in. Hes a really interesting guy as well, and does the coding himself and even involves his staff in the brainstorming and creation of new rooms!Tl;dr: I would recommend this escape room company to anybody and everybody. This place is state of the art through and through, and has a much appreciated small business feel to it that you cant really get anywhere else. The quality of the rooms is the best Ive ever experienced (and Ive done quite a bit of them). All the rooms and puzzles feel completely original, and you even feel immersed in the story itself. Honestly, the two rooms we did are the first escape rooms Ive considered doing again, thats how good they are.

Ive been to other escape rooms, this one was way more fun. More interaction and the room was set up much better for the story and puzzles. The puzzles themselves were a good mix where there were parts the whole group (we had four) could interact with. Would definitely recommend!

CluedIn is great! Perfect for parties and they really accommodate tweens by skill in completing the rooms. Want more rooms so can keep going there specifically!!

Having been to a few different escape rooms now this was a fresh take. Instead of just sticking you in a room these puzzles felt well thought out and the stories were strongly themed. There are some nice surprises in each room and Im looking forward to their next room opening!

We hosted CluedIn Escape Rooms at Bristol Club Apartments and the event was a huge success! The pop-up escape room incorporated our apartment floor plans which the residents really enjoyed! The puzzle was medium difficulty which was perfect- a nice challenge! Overall it was so much fun and I highly recommend checking out their space in Glen Ellyn!

We used both rooms and had a birthday party for our daughters. It was very well organized. We were able to bring cake and use the party room after we escaped. The girls had a great time. We would absolutely recommend this!

Completed the Asylum room with my dad, brother and sister. It was a little weird at first to have the game master in the room, but we ended up really liking it as the puzzles got more difficult. The room was challenging but really fun and engaging - we are itching to go back again soon! Would highly recommend.

Did the Game Master room a while ago, the room had a lot of puzzles that were a lot of fun to solve. I liked the details and the story for the room a lot. I liked the little surprise moments you got during the game!The staff was really friendly (shoutout to Brian and Hunter)also if you need a refreshment before or after the game, you can get yourself some HINT-water!

We did it third escape room, or second at Clued In. We had a great time both times. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. Its a great way to spend an evening with friends

Awesome escape room! We had the best time. The clues were challenging yet not too complex that you couldnt solve them. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. We escaped in just under a hour. It was so much fun!

Great staff, clean place, and awesome room....GameMaster! Time flies by, so concentrate on each puzzle together, dont advance ahead because everything is tied together and youll get even more stuck if you do things without completing what you have going at the moment. Must do it with at least 4 people.Looking forward to do their other rooms, Asylum looks like it would be quite a time. Cant wait for their new one in June/July....Double Agent, sound like is going to be quite unique.

The Asylum escape room was a lot of fun. I have done numerous escape rooms and this one was well thought out, included various types of clues and puzzles, and featured an enthusiastic host. I highly recommend this escape room.

I went with a group of 4 to the asylum room. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed most of the puzzles. It wasnt very difficult (but we have done escape rooms before).Im only giving 4 stars because the guide gave us hints without us asking for them, which made it too easy.

Two awesome game rooms, good for most ages. The Game Master plays 8 people and is centered around board and video games, the Aslyum fits 6 and puts a clever spin on scary. Cant wait for more rooms to open!

Kole met us in the lobby and explained the rules to us. We were a team of 6 friends, 3 couples. It was very fun to figure the clues. Although we didn’t meet the time limit, Kole came in the room and went over the clues we didn’t understand. It was a great and fun experience. We will definitely do an escape room again!!

My son and I were in The Asylum on Sunday 6/4/17, it was our first experience with an escape room and it was a lot of fun. Brian was a great host, we had a scheduling conflict and he was very accommodating in switching our time. Although my son and I were the only 2 to do this challenge (I can now see why you want all 6 people), we did manage to finish the challenge with less than 1 second to spare. We will be back soon to try our luck at The Game Master room!

Went here on a date, and we had an absolute amazing time! Brian, our host, was amazing. Had just enough difficulty to give you a solid sense of accomplishment with each puzzle. Heard there is another room in the works at this place, and Id definitely like to check that one out when it come to fruition.

I had a great experience at the Gamemaster Escape Room. I just felt that it should have been a little more challenging and with a little more things to throw off the people trying to complete the escape room. Otherwise, it was great and was very enjoyable!

I completed The Asylum room with my family as a Christmas outing.All of the people I interacted with at Cluedin where more than helpful and professional. The room was enjoyable and the challenges appropriate for all ages. Almost every puzzle felt unique and flavorful. Hats off to the designer.That being said, the ambience was a little underwhelming compared to other escape rooms Ive done in the area.I thought The Asylum was a bit too linear. I was also not excited about having a guide with us in the room itself. My family members and I would have liked a bit more freedom in solving the puzzles and I think the room could use a few detractors to enhance the scenery and raise the difficulty.Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed the experience and I would still recommend Cluedin to others, I just thought this missed the high bar some of the other escape rooms have set.I look forward to the opportunity to try another room at Cluedin.
