This place is absolutely beautiful. My fiance and I are truly thinking about having our wedding reception here.

I went on Tree lighting event which was really beautiful. They have decorated well enough the Christmas trees. Childrens are amused to see the place. There was also a santa for the kids. Staffs are friendly enough. Overall my experience was nice.

I got married here and the Event Manager, Mrs. Allen was so nice and helpful!

What can I say. If you are not using the programs offered by the center, shame! Ive taken several art classes; attended music offerings; held businesses meetings (50+ people) and training events and utilized their food service. Never a disappointed. Take time go. Take your kids. Have some local reasonable cost options.

Everything is great. Me and my kid had a great time during our visit. The volunteer and staffs are so kindly and helpful. This place has amble of parking lot and Clean restrooms. Highly recommend.

This redesigned elementary school has a wonderful theatre component and classrooms configured for teaching the arts. Dancing, pottery, sculpting, jewelry making, and much more are provided through the course offerings. I buy tickets for the theatre season because 1. Acoustics are great; 2. No seat in the house has a bad view 3. I can select the performances I want to attend, and 4. The selection of entertainers are varied in style and content. For a fantastic fun-filled evening, make sure to see local favorite Rock n Roll Jubilee who perform every year and whom I never fail to enjoy to the 10th degree.

This was where I got married 14 years ago and it was still magical. Such a great event place for many different size events. Staff is very nice.

Nice venue with comfortable seats. I was there for my grandsons high school graduation. To get to the seating area you must climb two sets of stairs which is difficult for me and many others. I took the small elevator instead, for which there was a waiting line of 5 to 10 minutes. Be sure to allow time for this in getting to your seats if you need the elevator. We parked the car in the garage next door. Next time I will arrive earlier to get a parking space on a lower level. Being on the top level it took 30 minutes or so to get out of the garage! So common sense, allow time for that, too!

The center was great. We saw David Baldacci and got books signed. The facilities there are first rate.

Great space for a meeting

This is an amazing cultural gem with ties to historic landmarks in the area while also producing forward-looking and inclusive cultural experiences! You can tell the people here take a lot of pride in bringing so many different shows, art exhibits, festivals, and much more to the community. Definitely a place to keep on your radar. Also home of the Latin Ballet of Virginia! Love their work and artistry!

Wonderful venue with stages for various performances and music, plus a gift shop, art gallery, and many interesting art pieces on display. The inside is beautifully appointed and the main auditorium is roomy and had plenty of good seating options. The acoustics were good. The gift shop is large with lots of jewelry. The art gallery is small but had a cool Lego exhibit when we visited. Very cool place to catch a show and explore and a little.

As far as conference space goes, this location has a good amount of space and rooms with technology that reliably works. However, there are a few small details that keep me from giving this 5 stars.Two examples:The mens room has a misfitting door on the only non-handicap stall.The cleanliness of tables can be spotty sometimes.

A very welcome use of an existing space that provides a wonderful resource for the community

I have attended several events here. The most common for us is our church service. Wave church is held here for now every Sunday. This facility is clean and well kept. I enjoy the local support for artists and their creativity that is displayed here. The landscaping is very pretty especially in the springtime. Wonderful place.

The Cultural Arts Center is a beautiful little gem hidden in Glen Allen. At first I couldnt really find the place. But once in, it was great. Very nice auditorium. Not big, but had excellent sound quality. There was a very nice ballroom. Even though it didnt look big, could easily accommodate 200+ people.

As a Caterer this place has a lot of amenities anyone would need for a nice event.

This was a basic but clean venue for a friends wedding reception we recently attended. There were plenty of tables and chairs for guests to enjoy their dinner and have plenty of elbow room, as well as a small dance floor and sound system for music and dancing. There was also a small room where the bride could change in and out of her wedding gown. Our friends employed Qs Barbeque to cater the meal so finding a place where you can have flexibility regarding food and drink is a plus in my opinion. I would not hesitate to consider this center for planning my own event.

Amazing pieces & great venue for a wedding

I dont know whats happened to this place. In the past I took a few classes here and they were decent, with some actual interesting art options, especially with jewelry and the no longer existing culinary arts. But now, first off the times suggest that most of the classes cater to retirees and second, the offerings are very generic, uninspired, and basically consist of extremely beginner techniques at best for most art areas. Plus the class fees are high. I say this with the knowledge that the funds pay the instructor and for the space, but what is the justification for $65for a course that only lasts 2 or 3 hours when the student is then required to pay for materials equal to that cost plus bring his or her own tools? Very disappointing, and even though I keep coming back to check, its all I see and its why I havent been registering for any more classes.

Attended the community choir Christmas program with friends. The program was well received by the crowded auditorium. The Christmas tree display was beautiful also. So nice to have this venue available in the Glen Allen community.

Such a wonderful artful place

First time at the arts center. There are many events this fall, such as ballet, mens chorus, etc. What I really love is the arts center promotes different artists paintings and other art works for sale. The uniqueness of each artist is beautiful.

A marvelous addition to Henricos cultural life. Thanks to Dick Glover who is truly missed having passed away a few years ago and who spearheaded this tremendous asset to our community while he served on Henricos board of supervisors.

We had our wedding there and loved it. However, the events manager is really hard to get a hold of and she doesnt really answer questions or anticipate what might be needed at a wedding. Its a shame because the facility is awesome and events manager is super nice, she just didnt seem very organized.

Lovely place. As a visitor to town, I enjoyed a nice theatre production. I also peeked in on a bluegrass concert and it was superb.

The Cultural Arts Center is in Glen Allen, VA. Dia de Los Muertos was being celebrated. Good food and people. Also the area had a little craft-selling going. Over all, had a good entertaining day.

I havent been here in a while, so today is a free bluegrass festival from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. They have live shows, live music, and actually a art collection, like a museum, hence the name Cultural Arts Center, to view also. The location is very accessible via 295.

One of the best facilities around Richmond if you are looking for a place for a gathering. They have different halls based on group size and its worth every dollar you pay.

It was so fabulous to see all of the exhibits and displays the gallery was so fancy. Got to see the names of artists and where they contribute their work throughout the city.

I enjoy the very reasonably priced plays presented here. The exhibits of art are well worth seeing & they have a wonderful mix of items in the gift shop. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping there.

Great center for arts and dance and more!

I love this place! It is such a neat environment on such a cool road, Mountain Road. Just far enough away from either the city of Richmond or the franchise feel of Short Pump, but right close to everything, its like a taste of country.My niece has a dance recital here in a few weeks, cant wait to go. We attended a SPARC event which was so much fun, and are looking at some of the classes they offer, so many!

Facilities are extremely nice and the staff is very courteous. The music events attract rare and wonderful talent. The events have donations for community outreach and impact. I am rating the building and staff alone.Reviews that are focusing on one cullinary class they took hosted by a 3rd party 7 years ago are not a proper way to review the GCAC as a facility. They have been through great changes since.

Great venue, the food was a little pricey considering what it was... Very overcooked, unseasoned, mediocre-at-best spaghetti was 15 bucks. Wouldnt go back for the good for sure... But the entertainment was phenomenal!
