Its not the poshest movie theater and could use some TLC but plays all the big titles. Location is very convenient being right in the heart of the Germantown Town Center. I just hope we can get past the pandemic soon and all get back to going to the movies again soon! Who wouldve thought in February that it would be the last movie wed go to see!

Incredibly spacious parking lot at this Regal which is right near the Germantown downtown. The facility itself has a bit of an old, rustic feel to it but generally functions decently. In terms of size it was alright - not too small but also not overly gigantic.

Staff is friendly and theaters are clean. Overall a great movie going experience. They are doing all of the things that newer regal theaters are doing - Regal Unlimited, reserving seats, etc. And you can expect the typical prices of concessions.

I enjoyed my experience here. Very friendly staff and facility very clean; specifically the bathroom. Reasonable prices. Will come back.

Second time around: Nice theatre and has plenty of parking which now I know you can get to from the right or left ( I always took the long way around right if you’re facing the theater). Comfortable enough and price is just like any other Regal theater. $$.The good thing about this one are the shops and restaurants nearby: Panera and Chick Fil a! Right across the street.Overall I like it better than the Rockville Regal because of the parking (it’s just easier) and the pricing on some occasions is cheaper.

This was the first Regal I ever went to, and that was 10 years ago. Lets just say I still go there to this day. The Regal near my house closed so we drive an hour to go here now, but its worth it. Its clean, and the workers are very nice and work fast.

Has much improved over the past year. Assigned seating and digital tickets makes movie viewing way more modern and less of a hassle than before. Good movie selection and friendly staff.

The only movie theater in Germantown, and fortunately it’s pretty decent. Price can be very reasonable if you go there at the right time or on the right days. I know they recently opened a new movie theater (Cinépolis) in Kentlands which is admittedly more upscale and luxurious, but this movie theater will always be my go-to theater simply because it’s closer for me.

Ok theater in Germantown. Mostly you would be able to get tickets for new movies. Facilities need to be improved. Plenty of parking spots and a multi level covered parking helps dire weather situations. Nice pubs and restaurants in and around theater can help friends time out better.

The staff was friendly. The food options were good too. We had popcorn and chicken strips with fries. Its not overly crowded either. There are some candy vending machines and a few games for kids too. I mean, we had a good time.

I like having this movie theater in my back yard. It is convenient to the highway, and many food places. Staff was helpful, maki g sure we got to the right room for our movie.

I love that they have fathom events here! Its wonderful to see anime on the big screen so close to my home.

It was clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing that we did not like is that you have to reserve your seats. That seems like something you should be able to do if you want, but not something you should be forced to do.

I feel like every other time Ive been here, theres been issues with the film showing and theyve comped my tickets. They have all the good special events if they can get them to run properly. Staff is super nice and the place is clean. Concessions are good, fresh popcorn. Included photos of the last time we went and the movie player errored out.

This used to be my favorite theater to go to, but they really need to update this place ASAP. I would rather pay more for a ticket and go to Cinepolis, which is only a few more miles, to have real and reasonably priced food options and alcohol.

Very nice theater! Not super fancy, but still definitely nice enough. Saw The Secret Life of Pets here last year for a special screening on 7/24/18. Decent enough size theater and screen size. I remember it was quite clean too, and the lobby was nice as well.

Saw the movie Spies in Disguise. The place was clean and no long waits.

This place is pretty good. They do a good job keeping the riff raff out with their armed security. Has a good movies feel. No thrills. But a good time to say the least.

Old charming movie theater, got movie tickets online but you have to pick them up from the desk. The confectionery tills only had 2 staff on July 3th evening , you can imagine the lines. The seats reclined slightly which was nice. The theater was large and spacious.

They cant get the sound right. I saw three different movies in three different rooms and the sound was horrible (and exactly the same) for each one. It seems as though they have one person setting up the sound for all of the rooms and that person has trouble hearing upper frequencies. Im ok with theaters being loud, but the highs were pushed so much that it was a constant distraction and difficult to listen to. Whoever is setting up the sound at Regal Germantown needs to be reassigned.

My daughter dragged my .... up here to watch Frozen. Walked out of that particular movie confused, however the venue is the finest you would find in Germantown my home sweet home!

My husband and I have .ade our off day together to be a movie date/lunch or dinner. We love it. Clean and not too crowded.

Love our neighborhood theater. Its clean, minimal lines...(if there are lines, they move quickly), great concession service with good snack options. Stadium seating, so never a head in your way

Visit this theater often. Buying tickets online and scanning at the podium is quick and easy. Theaters are on par with others chains in area for comfort. Staff seem polite and helpful. Plenty of parking, only rarely had to use adjacent parking garage when a major release has opening day.

Weve been going to this theater for many years. Ive seen a decline in theater upkeep. Maybe they just need a few strategic updates? Anyway, its far from awful, but with so many newer theaters in the area, you really cant help comparing. The staff is always friendly and they have rotating deals on food and ticket discounts. Its definitely worth joining their free Crown Club so you can earn credits for free food and tickets, but you may have to visit a few times or come with a group before you accrue enough credits to redeem something. I appreciate that they dedicate several theaters to the blockbusters, which is helpful when the fancier theaters are sold out... but your daughter HAS to see Frozen 2 on opening weekend .

It was really a great experience as usual clean and quiet able to enjoy my movie. And my regal reward. Thanks to the manager

Kind of small but very nice, kind staff, relatively clean theaters

Maybe we hit them on a bad day, but today when we went to see “Little Women” the picture was out of focus (as were all the previews), we were directed to the wrong theater by whoever scanned our internet ticket, and several of the urinals in the men’s bathroom we’re out of order, on a day where just about every show was sold out. To me this reflects poor management and and distain towards the theaters patrons.

Great night to watch a movie. Polite & friendly staff. Clean floors and great food.

This location use to be one of the best when I was a child...it has gone down hill a lot since. It is due to wear and tear. The surrounding movie locations all have received the upgrades in their buildings and seating that it puts a stronger negative hit on this location. Besides that, it is average movie location with the usual sticky floors. Staff is nice there so that is always a big plus. I think it will be amazing once it gets its own upgrade. Movie selection are pretty good too with decent time selection for a smaller location (compared to Rio or rockville).

Regal Germantown is a good Cineplex with comfortable theaters and plenty of options.

Really nice place to watch a movie with the people you love. DEFINITELY recommended.

Love you can go anytime, like that they feature ticket for coming as much as you want, as many times as you want and they have all day movies and food if you are hungry.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff is very friendly! There was one time where I bought a soft drink and carried it to the theater; however, after I left, a crew member realized that there was something funny about the soda machine so he ran all the way to the theater and stopped me from drinking it before I could. Afterwards, he took the soda back and fixed the machine. He even went above and beyond and brought the new soda to me in the theater so I wouldn’t miss any trailers. Keep in mind, he did all of this without me even asking him to. It was very incredible.Additionally, the rest of the staff are very friendly and they interact and treat you like a human being. 10/10 I love going there!

Pretty good, the staff wasnt rude or anything and it was a good size theater. It wasnt anything special but its a decent place to see a movie. Would do again. Tho I will say the parking is in a weird spot but I can ez overlook that cause its in a weird spot

I like that this theatre has not changed much since it opened. It still has the feel of an old school megaplex, which is getting increasingly rare with more and more theatres converting to a more dine-in model. I like that this is still just an honest-to-goodness place to sit, have popcorn or candy, and watch a movie. Comfortable, clean, good-sized screens with plenty of showtimes and very nice staff.

Its ok but nothing to rave about, old style theater with smaller non reclining seats, they try to keep it clean but their patrons do not so the theaters can be a bit messy at times. Typical pricing on food and drinks. There are better options in this area and I would recommend going to RIO over Regal Germantown.

Love this theater. They dont have recliner seats, but the theaters are nice and its usually not too crowded.

Good movie option, tickets prices are similar to other theater. Lack covered car parking which is required in summers. The world has moved on with recliners and reserved seating, they need to renovate now.

Nice customer care, eager staff, great sound quality in movies

This is my first time in this theater. It was Christmas, so maybe it is different if you went on a different day. We had reseved 8 seats. Only 7 were available. A lady had reserved the handicapped seat in front of our 8th seat, but ít was broken and decided to take our seat I wasnt going to ask her to move again. Fortunately, there was an empty seat higher in the theater. That seat was fine, but not with our group. Additionally, there was no soap in the lobby womens room before the show. I reported this. There was still no soap after the show. Hopefully, the employees had a different one to use. I wont be going here again.Little Women was great!

I went to watch Captain Marvel and got the best seats since it was a Sunday night and all the kiddos and teens and college students were not there giving me the entire theater to myself. Parking was decent and there wasnt a huge line to buy the ticket. Definitely recommend ppl to go on a Sunday night if they want no one in the theater.

Seats arent updated like other Regals, but its close to a Red Robin and a Mexican restaurant. The crane machine was a little too hard in there too.

I am staying in town for work, so decided to grab a movie. This theater is small, which I love. The employees are very friendly! My only complaint is that I had to send my hot dog back because it was way over cooked. Seriously, people are paying $5 for a dog, make sure it isnt cooked to wrinkled rubber, cmon now. Im in town for around 3 weeks, so will be coming back for another movie.

Decent Theater. I frequent this theater due to location and great matinee prices. For five stars it needs to upgrade to reclining seats, reserved seating, and faster concession service.

Decent movie theater , they have okay service. To be honest this place is average , I fell like needs a little of bit of attention , maybe some new chairs & cleaner restrooms.

I liked the sound system on this theater. It is loud, ckear and the range is good. What not to like are some employees having a vad day and they project it to customers. Seats are classic; no recliner here. Picture quality is good too. Having said that, I enjoy going here for a quick movie. This location is close to chick fil a, ihop and panera across the street.

Theres nothing physically wrong with this theater. They have a great selection of snacks and foods and the theater is usually clean. The downside is that sometimes you have to get your tickets from the concession stand and its not properly signed, and there seems to be a lot of confusion about what lying to being because no one working there gives clear instructions

I havent been to the movies in a while so I was surprised to see that they had 10 minutes of ads and then another 10 minutes of trailers and ads before the movie started. The movie started 20 minutes late.

This is a good movie theater. It’s all very standard really. It could be improved by having reclined reserved seating. If that’s not a thing for you then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t go to this theater if your local.

I just dont know how to put it but we all know we enjoy the movies.

This is the only theater ive been to that is very very dirty place. you can see alot of popcorn all over the place, the management dont even care to clean the place. i wont never ever go to this place again!!!

The movie I was looking for was (almost intentionally) excluded from appearing on any promotional posters or walls. Not even a rated-R movie or anything like that. Had to buy tickets in advance to get past this intentional deception

Decent theater. Clean and great concession options. Parking behind the theater is rather awkward. They should have a rear entrance into the theater to make it easier for senior citizens and the disabled to comfortably enter the building without having to go all the way around to the front.

Outdated 1990s feel stadium seats. Convenient theatre in a good location with plenty of parking but its in desperate need of a remodel.Like most theatres, the concession stand drives away most customers with $9 sodas.All theatres are dimly lit, but even with poor lighting, the entire building) is dingy, worn, dirty.Its seems like the staff cleans up the bathroom, but the rest of the theatre has 20 years of gross all over the walls and ground into the carpet.

10/13 - Took the family to too watch the 10:45 showing of Venom. Informed the manager and the ticket dispenser twice of the blurry image before personally walking them to the theater. The revised to acknowledge a problem with the image until I suggested comparing it to the shooting next door. The manager finally acknowledged that there could be a problem caused by an unclean lens. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do about cleaning the lens without interrupting the showing.I will avoid this theater in the future due to the lack of professionalism and customer-oriented conduct I observed on this occasion.Though this is the first time encountering any incident at this theater, Ive encountered no incidents at any other. I will prefer to a theater slightly further to avoid the tainting of our family movie experience.Otherwise, the popcorn staff was friendly and courteous. They earned the three stars award in this review.

The theatre is nice. In the past it has always been well kept, but recently I walked into the movie and found quite the mess. The sound quality is good. The screen picture is fine. The seats are older and not as comfy as they could be, but adequate for most 2 hour movies. Plenty of parking. And food options outside of the theatre are good and within walking distance.

Extremely dirty. I was very disappointed in how this theatre is up kept. The bathrooms all night were nasty yet workers doing nothing at the counter. Floors sticky in the theatre and trash all over the floor.

Simple and Easy to get to.

If you go to the movies often, join the Regal rewards. You can earn free movie passes, drinks or popcorn. The seats are comfy, and its been clean every time I have gone.

I enjoyed my morning movie experience in there in the weekend. It is very quiet and not too many people.

Been to this theater most of my life and it has always had great staff with great customer service! Ive had friends see movies here and taken dates here and it has never let me down!

I don’t think I have ever left a bad review about a place before, but this theater left me no choice. Dirty, mismanaged, understaffed, overpriced...the list goes on. I can go to the Rio, sit in reclining reserved seats, and the cost is actually cheaper. The concession stand was horribly understaffed, and the lines were ridiculous. The entire theater was filthy. Popcorn everywhere, the trash was overflowing before our movie even started, by the end I had to step over trash because it was piled up on the floor. The theater smelled, and was very stuffy, the bathrooms were disgusting, and not a manager in sight when I asked for one. From now on I’ll drive the extra 10 minutes and go to the Rio.

Very nice movie theater although a bit dirty it seems like with all movie theaters, but all in all very nice and I went to watch endgame and it was nice the crowd was very enthusiastic about the movie it was a great experience.

For the most part this is a decent theater. Never have had a issue using digital tickets purchased online or my rewards card. Have been issued refunds without any hitches as well when needed. Concession stand is really nice. They are really helpful with offering suggestions when you have a group of peopme with yoh and cant decide the best sizes. Theater is pretty clean and havent seen any fights in years which is what I used to knkw this theater for a few yrs ago. They are definitely making a comeback.
