This is one of the best after school programs you can put your child in! My son loves the program. Its a mixture of hoops and homework. The staff is amazing! His grades have improved tremendously since he has been enrolled. He is definitely more confident in his academics and enjoys learning new skills in the sport of basketball.

This was my son’s fourth year attending Summer Jam Basketball Camp and as usual he loved every moment spent. Coach Jamil is very dedicated, hands-on, and passionate about the development of each child. He along with his well-appointed staff do an amazing job providing an exciting and competitive program for every level. My son looks forward to joining the fun next year. Hands down, I highly recommend the program!!!

My son absolutely loved this program. Hes in the after school program, and summer basketball camp. Hes usually a shy kid, so it was a really nice feeling to see him interacting with other kids. Ive seen his confidence boost, and its a fantastic feeling. So worth it! I also really like how the owner is so involved, and you can tell its something that they really feel inspired to do, and not simply just a job. I highly recommend this program to all parents!

We are a soccer family and this was the first time my 7year old had an experience in a camp for basketball. He absolutely loved it and looking forward to next year already. He had to miss one day due to my scheduling for work and he was furious. This was very well planned camp, set up was awesome and the staff were phenomenal. If I lived in the Germantown area, I would definitely enroll my kids in the after school program. I think is a great way to keep kids out of trouble since most parents are not home until later in the day due to work. Coach Jamil, you are a great man and making a huge impact in your community. Keep up the good work and stay blessed.

My son currently goes here 3 days a week after school. Hoops and Homework picks him up from school and brings him to their location and we have never had an issue with that.They have a good setup with some High School aged kids who actually help the younger children with homework and dont just play on their phones/ignore the kids. Also, the other employees who run the athletic side of the childcare always seem to be enjoying their time with the kids. Of course, the kids are always having a blast, they have a pretty good setup with the gym on one side and the academics (with chromebooks) on the other side. I would have no reservations about sending my son again next year.

Love this program. Staffs are wonderful And love what they do. Everytime I walk in there it feels more like a family. Ashia is amazing. If u ever have an issue just go to her and it will be fixed. The program is more than homework and basketball its about building the children teaching them to never give up and always motivating them.

Hoops and Homework is a fantastic after school program. My son has been enrolled since August 2015 and he absolutely loves it. Everyday, he tells me about the positive experiences hes had learning, interacting with staff and friends and of course playing basketball. I highly recommend this program and have already done so to family and friends.

We would like to express how much we have enjoyed being a part of Hoops and Homework. We cannot think of any program that could have made this past year any more special than Hoops and Homework.Hoops and Homework truly is a great program because of the dedication of the staff and the attention given to the kids. The staff is extraordinary. There are homework assistants, there are built-in computer programming sessions if desired and basketball training that gives kids a diverse experience. The homework assistance is great - the staff always made extra efforts so that the kids could understand the material. In addition, the kids are being picked directly from their schools.Coach Jamil is a highly experienced basketball coach. He communicates with the kids in a gently manner so that they understand the fundamentals of the game.
