Unbelievable customer service! Mark willingly boxed two frames (that I did not purchase there-mind you) that I needed to ship for Christmas. Not only did he do this-but attempted to deliver them down the street once completed to where he thought I worked. (I had actually purchased them from Miss Behavin-and they connected me with Hockensmith’s-thus the confusion.) Once I returned that afternoon, he carried them across the street to my car. Mark went above and beyond and generously served a “non-customer” also in turn serving a local peer’s business. Love the small town feel of this transaction and the simple goodness of people. I may not have used Hockensmith’s services today-but I can assure you that I will in the future. (And Miss Behavin too for their help in connecting me to Mark and great customer service!)

I was introduced to this gallery for equine photography. The equine art is definitely stunning – a true appreciation of this beautiful animal. What else stands out is the amazing color in the prints – brilliant yet still natural – and the large-scale presentations – huge canvases and wall-size murals. And even a big, dramatic piece that would really make a difference in a room is affordable! There is also an in-house framing studio. Mark Sweazy is a super talented framer. I’m always surprised at how any piece becomes much more of a piece of art after it’s been framed by Mark. I highly recommend this gallery!

I love this gallery! They put a lot of care into their work and each piece has a personal touch - they really want you to leave with something that youll treasure for a long time. You can browse their gallery - a really nice selection of horse photography, original art, limited edition prints, and a lot more - or work with them to design a custom piece. Take advantage of their framing department, too. Mark (the framer) is professional and very talented. The gallery owner also has beautiful original books on Gypsy Horses and Spanish Mustangs (my personal favorite). They get TONS of compliments in our home, and make wonderful gifts, too!.

What a find in beautiful, historic downtown Georgetown! A gallery featuring outstanding Kentucky artists, including the gallery owner himself, who is an amazing horse photographer. They also do framing. (I got a cool photograph of a cat that looks like a painting on canvas, which graces my kitchen wall, as well as a unique book on mustangs, full of photos, which reads like the history of the horse in America.)

Ive been a fan and more-than-occasional buyer of Jim Brancaccios prints for years. Im pleased to see hes included in Hochensmith Gallerys impressive lineup of artists. I recently attended a show at the Georgetown gallery of Jims work. I was impressed. Its an ideal space to see the work of good regional artists.
