Its actually in Gathier. We both had the Tuesday grouper tacos, mine to be blackened and Dianes grilled. We also started with the potato skins and they were small but good. We had asked if the taco came with fries or anything but our server said no so thats why we ordered the skins. The tacos came out looking good and they were except they blackened hers also, not enough that she went ahead and ate what she wanted. They also came with chips and salsa. Surprise! The tacos and the salsa were good but I felt that the items were overpriced. $8 for skins and around $15 for the tacos. Service was great except for the chips mistake. Not an enthusiastic recommendation but I might would try it again.

Wonderful food, view and crowd. Our server Shell was super. Perfect place for a hot summer meal and a few cold drinks. Try the Mermaid cocktail....come by boat or drive. Youlll enjoy.

Mixed drinks were not made correctly. It took 45 minutes to get Food. There was only 3 small families there when we arrived. Food was cold when got it. Waitress was sweet and tried to fix it.

All in all Hucks is a good place to grab a bite for what it is, a little hole in the wall place with good food.

The food was so delicious and the service was great! I loved the atmosphere and the facility and decor was awesome!

Wasnt very busy when we got there, ordered our food and it took over 45 mins to get it out. Our appetizers were brought out with our meal instead of before. Meanwhile other people who arrived after us was receiving all their food. The kids tenders were well over cooked. The crawfish platter definitely had some old tails in it. The waitress also forgot to put in part of our order, even though she read it all back to us correctly. Do not plan on returning.

I visited yesterday. The food was awesome! The atmosphere was amazing. Cool, little funky joint. I loved it! I will definitely go again. Soon.

Nice view! I had a shrimp basket and fried pickles. The fried pickles were pretty greasy. The shrimp was weirdly chewy. Coleslaw was good!

I worked here almost 15 years ago and its exactly as I remember it. (With some new menu items). Staff was friendly and service was quick. Hucks burgers are still awesome!

Service is very slow. Had to send drinks back that were terrible. Burgers were waay overpriced for the amount of meat you get. All 3 of our orders were incorrect, but due to such a long wait to get food we opted to make due and eat what we got. Probably wont be back.

Their service is quick their food is authentic try the buffalo shrimp po-boy you wont regret it

This is a wonderful local establishment with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was good and the net cold! Wer had fried mushrooms for an appetizer, too many to eat so eye taking a whole container home! I had the fried oysters, dad had the Hucks burger. Everything was good.

Hucks Cove has always been our favorite place to eat when we camped on the river, Ive moved now close to the Florida state line so we dont get there as often as we used to. I have a motorcycle group now with 38 members and we ride there now about 3 or 4 times a year. About 8 to 10 of us will be riding there this Saturday, I cant wait to taste that cold beer and buffalo shrimp....mmmm

Great quirky place. But Do Not be in a Hurry! I love their grilled chicken salad and most of the other dishes are great also!

They claim the works best burger but it is not even in the running. It is over spiced and tasted like meat loaf! I had 4 bites.

A diamond in the rough. My wife a been had a prior to Katrina and has taken me there twice since. What a great story and comeback for a small off the road bar and eatery. So much fun and also pet friendly.

Dog friendly restaurant that you are able to boat up to. Good place to come to after being on the water all day. Take a lunch break while fishing.

Our favorite place to eat! Love the laid back casual atmosphere at Hucks! Waitresses are always the sweetest and absolute best here!! Enjoying your meal while looking out over the water and even trying to get a glimpse of a gator keeps us coming back time and time again! Perfect for 2 or for the whole family. Oh yeah and did I mention... The food is always fantastic and thats just icing on the cake! Another great thing at Hucks Cove is that you can drive up or pull in on your boat and enjoy that tastiest food around while sitting inside enjoying the ac or out on the deck with a fan or two! I dont know how anyone could come and not want to keep coming time and time again. After our very first visit we were hooked!

Great place to come relax and chill. You get like a bar/ on the water atmosphere! They have live music, people see smiling having a good time, and they food was amazing especially the Fried gator and the crawfish platter

Right after my husband and I arrived we discovered that we would not be able to stay. This place IS NOT wheelchair accessible. They are steps everywhere to get into the place. When I tried to find someone to see if there was a wheelchair friendly entrance I couldnt find a single person to ask. There was no hostess and no server in sight. Also the restrooms to the place are outside in a building with a very small ramp to use.

Food was good. Service was lacking. Got bit by mosquitos.

Loved the wings but my order was wrong. They brought me fried shrimp and I ordered grilled. I didnt eat them and they said the kitchen was closed so they wouldnt make me grilled shrimp. They took off 1.70 of my sons 200.00 bill because they messed up my order. What a joke.

Hucks Cove was simply Amazing! The food was top-notch (blackened grouper). The server was quick and friendly. Mark, the owner, is very passionate about the restaurant and the customers! Will eat there every time!

This place has been on my regular rotation for years. Despite the sometimes lackluster food and mediocre service the beer is cold, the motif is island funky relaxed, and the view is pretty decent from just about any seat in the house. Today the lackadaisical service reached an all time low. Tonight, June 2nd, at 6:30pm, my family and I walked in and sat in our typical spot inside/downstairs by the windows. A larger party of a dozen or so was being served a few tables over. The restaurant was not overly crowded, maybe 40% of capacity. The waitresses staged the other parties food on the table right next to us. There were at least 3 waitresses within 5 feet of our table. For the next 25 minutes we would sit and try to catch the eye of any waitresses that passed by. It seemed like after getting the large parties food out, all of the waitresses went on extended break. They excelled at being unavailable. During those minutes we observed waitresses: socializing with each other, counting their tips at the bar, smoking cigarettes, texting, and drinking at the bar. We never received so much as a menu or a glass of water. I find this unforgivable and I dont think I will be back. Its a fun-themed and somewhat scenic place with sometimes good food but more than average bad service.

Austin is the cook there. Its amazing food. Go there and ask for his cooking for the night. You wont regret it

Always gotten great food and great service!

My Uncle lives in Gautier and took us out for a late lunch. Food was excellent. To get the local flavor I had the craw fish po-boy which was great. Everyone enjoyed the food, the outdoor seating was great. Next year, when we return to Gautier, you can bet that the whole fam damily will be having lunch at Hucks. Dont remember her name, but the blond haired waitress was a hoot and really took good care of us. Next summer, Ill try to remember to bring yall a Ohio license plate to put on your wall!

Really good Grouper salad. Bleu cheese dressing is very chunky and quite good. The bourbon pie is awesome but ask for it to be warmed a little.

We like to stop by on our motorcycles when were out riding. They have good food and you can sit right next to the dock and have a cold drink. We love going there to eat!

Usually the food is great...today the oysters were horrible. Too much crunchy batter not enough oyster and over cooked. My husbands blackened shrimp poboy was good. Service was great as always....

Service was terrible!!!The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu of how and what is served. Our appetizers came out with the meal. They were not busy at all and it still took a long time to get our food, and when it did come out it wasnt very hot.

Serene setting on the bayou with an awesome outdoor dining area. Great place to relax and usher in the weekend with fresh Gulf seafood and beverages.
