Nice place. But small, good for fishing. Kid playground is also good.

Lot of smalls, Sunnys , catfish ,carp ,eels and trout easy access all around lake plenty of parking friendly and safe place

Gorgeous, family-friendly park! There are benches along the walkway path for when you need to take a break. Lots of trees and greenery that offers shady spots throughout park. Theres a Dunkin Donuts right across the street too!

Lovely walking trail around a small lake stocked with trout. (Fishermen must have licenses.) Quiet and peaceful, lots of benches. Nice playground for little ones, small rink for street hockey. Restrooms on site are decent, interesting monument to Columbus.

Peaceful and lovely.

Dahnerts Park is a very cute place for stretching your legs. The centerpiece lake is well taken care of with approximately 3/8 of a mile paths around it for running/walking/biking. Theres also a small kids play area, a nice gazebo for shade breaks when walking, etc. There is also a full sized foot/inline hockey rink tucked away in the front corner of the park with regulation goals, which is great (pick up games every Sunday morning, played on foot). No basketball or tennis courts though, if that matters to you. Overall, very nice. Id give it 3 and a half stars if I could.

I love this park..Ive been coming to this place since I was a kid.

Small park, nice to walk the dog in now and then. Way too many geese. And with way too many geese, I need not say more. No water fountain. I dont think the bathrooms work. Its an old dumpy park in the middle of an old town. Get rid of the damn geese. The place will clean up nicely.

This park is so beautiful I sometimes go to run there because it’s so peaceful and safety.

This park is a great place to take the kids, very clean park, great for exercising and walking around. It is also a great place to take very nice pictures.

Love this place

Dahnerts Lake is a very small park but it fits the bill when I need to exercise.The path around the lake is .33 miles. After it rains the path gets a flooded a bit. There is a playground for the kiddies and benches all around the lake. They stock the lake with trout but youd better have a trout fishing license to catch them!

A very good park with a trail to walk, jog or run around a small pond. Very good play area for the kids of all age. You can only park on the streets. Midland Ave has parking spots but the side streets can be used for parking if you can walk couple of blocks to the park. An ice Cream truck is there during the summer hours. Park closes half an hour later after the sun set. Good place to unwind your day and relax a little doing light activities if you prefer.

There was a lot of room for people to play on I just wish they Add a soccer place so that way we dont have to play in the hockey place

Danherts lake aka the pump house. Nice little lake with a path around it. There is an island in the lake you can walk to on a bridge. Also a picnic area and a large playground.

This is a very lovely park with its small lake and a gazebo on it. Your kids will love the playground and you will love walking around the lake. There is always ducks. Its a pretty place to spend some time with your family.

My little guy loves this place. A nice trail to walk, a great playground and the trains run right behind the park. A great little place.

My girlfriend and i come here often for a brisk walk or even to relax and enjoy the weather. You can fish (license required) or bring the little ones to play on the jungle gym. Greay variety!

I love this park, the pond & the large tall trees. the only thing that bothers me is the older kids play rough on and near the toddlers play area. Their parents just sit there and dont say anything to them.I had to tell the kids to please be careful playing near my 22 month old grandson.

Dahnert is a very nice park for your children. You can walk or jog around the pond. Two gazebos one at each end for shade and a seat. The pond is great place to teach your kids to fish. They can catch blue gills, bullhead catfish hopefully not a carp lol. The kids will also love the playground why you ask cause the ice cream truck parks right outside the gate.

Pleasant place. Little water logging onthe pathwsy at one or two places when it rains heavily. Multiple play choices for the children.
