Im an out of town visitor. This is a neat park. I appreciated that it was gated for only adults with kiddos. I felt very safe. We went at 10am on a Wednesday in November and stayed for an hour and a half. We were the only ones there. It was $2 for my 3yr old. Me and my 6month old were free. The snack bar is only open on weekends, so bring snacks. There were some neat old-school structures to play on, plus some more modern-ish ones. And cute signs with rhyming couplets to bring the park to life. Splash pad area was not on, as its cold now, but looks super fun for hot weather. If I lived here, Id likely come here regularly.

Wow, this is such a hidden gem for parents! This is a decently sized, secluded and chill park on the north western side of Garden Grove Park. At $2 per person its supercheap to get in. Inside there are around 10+ small playgrounds, a small splash zone, and lots of green for picnics. To be clear there is only one small splash zone, but my kids had plenty of fun there. All the playgrounds are accessible by strollers through concrete trails. You can bring in your own food, there are drinking fountains, reservable spaces for kids birthday parties, clean restrooms with infant changing tables in both gender restrooms and there is a tiny concession stand where you can get water, soda, ice cream, chips for $1.Such a great place to spend with the kids.Note that this is a cash only place and isnt open in the colder months. Such a cute park! There is a $2 admission fee for anyone over 3. There is a snack bar, nice covered patio area right at the entrance. The splash pad has a good mixture of water features with a softer play pad for the littles. Right off the splash pad are a set of swings. Lots of grass and so many different play areas. So magical! Some of the equipment is older, but has such charm like the whale slide and serpent slide which is built into the hillside! Id visit again if it wasnt so far away.

Very cute little park with a nice size water play area. Theres a separate little splash section for the smaller kids and a playground as well. There are benches for seating but theres no shade for those unless the sun is hitting at an angle. There are a lot of trees so you can bring your own chairs and towels. The admission is $2 CASH ONLY.

We have had two birthday parties here. There is a nice area for food and the price to rent a table is reasonable. The adults can sit at the tables and catch up while the kids roam around the fenced-in play center (its huge!) and check in once in a while. It skews towards younger kids but the older kids have always seemed to have fun too. Lots of stuff to climb on and a water play area as well (not always open). The staff is fantastic and the park is clean and well maintained. There are a couple of things that arent allowed (cant remember what they are because my husband planned the parties) but nothing was a deal breaker. Its also a nice park to go to just to hang out with the kids.

Location - Park is a bit hidden to find but if you use GPS its not too bad.Parking - On a busy weekend it can be a bit crazy trying to find parking.Park - Place is pretty chill as they have multiple sections as in Birthday area, water area, slides, and other areas for the kids to play.Admission - I forgot the cost to get in but it was very minimal from what I recall.Crowd - They have a limit on how many can be in the area, but eventhough it was a busy weekend it didnt feel packed at all.Overall its a cool place for the kids to come play, or cool down in the water area or have a bday. I would come back another time and would recommend it.

Fun retro place to go. Especially great for small kids. They can spend a couple hours in the water play area. The water play area is surrounded by trees and vegetation so there is plenty of shade. They have aquatic themed play areas and slides. There are picnic tables near the entrance that can hold a large group. Nice to reserve for a party. Outside food and drinks are allowed. Even though it is close to the 22 freeway there isnt much noise heard.

We paid $2 per person and the playground was so old and dirty... lots of spiders all over the ladders and in the slides. So I dont even know why they charge you anything!

I have to say, this place is pretty cool. Its so tucked away on Atlantis street, no one would even know about this place unless theyve been here before. I was recently invited for a private event here on a Saturday. They stamp your hand and off you go....The benches nearby can seat about 2 different large parties. Inside the park are lots of greens and everything has a Water theme. Like the Whale slide or a King Trident park area.Oh, the Splash Pad opens on June 7 this year. The area is just right off of the covered seating area. Its not huge by any means, but if there isnt anyone around, it works just fine. When we were there, it wasnt open but I can foresee lots of kids soon. There are plenty of mixed trash cans around and some water fountains. There are 2 bathrooms right by the entrance and it is clean and has soap unlike public restrooms.Prices for entry is $2 a person here and worth it if you want some secluded area to play for your kids.

The kids said it was the best party theyve ever had!I am very glad there is a $2 entrance fee and a no lone adults allowed rule because it filters out riffraff and keeps the park safe.Would definitely recommend this park!

Im a mother of 7. It was a marvelous gift to our family. I personally, had 6 children in 8 years and took off for 4 years for good behavior and had the 7th.I started to play on a Womans Volleyball team in Garden Grove Park in the 60s and the special treat was to take my little ones to Atlantis for a picnic when it cost $.10 to get in. My first time was when a friend and I lived in Compton and we brought our little ones to Atlantis in the mid 60s. The dragon slide stood out with small trees being planted throughout the park. We have pictures which show the difference. The HUGE PLUS for the park was NO CHILD COULD EXIT without an adult. Atlantis has brought many a great memory to many a child and adult. Im so glad you STILL EXIST.Im planning on bringing my autistic grand daughter and her parents to enjoy what her father enjoyed. Thanks once again and I hope you continue for coming generations.

Ive been to better park that is free and the fact that this place charge $2 per person to get inside...its not worth it. We went there and the water is off. I dont think it should be seasonal only, it should be based on how hot it was that day. I was very disappointed because we had promised our toddler water play and when you promise a kid you have to keep your promise. It was the only reason why we go there. But since we paid $2/person we had to stay there to make our money worth it.
