Nice area of Galveston to visit, its quiet and out of the way.

Nice view and a nice place to relax. There are lots of birds around and flowers. The natural trail goes around a swamp area (Small area). There is a place where you can fish from the beach nearby.There are a few small parking areas where you can park your vehicle and enjoy the view.Porta-Potties are there.

D.I.R.T.Y.!!! I wouldnt even get in the water it was slimy with algae, ships everyone so theres no telling whats in that water. Disgusting!Broken glass everywhere, trash all over the beach, in the water floating around, and no one picks it up! UGH! Now I know why after 38 years of coming to this island Ive never been there!!

Middle night crabs, sharp fossil on the beach. Exciting my heart and hurting my toes(so wear solid sandlers!)

I love everything about Galveston. I think it is just beautiful and we go as many times as we can in the summer.

Love the beach out here. They have a beach house with a play ground, picnic area, volleyball courts, and a stage. They also have a gift shop and snack bar.

Great place to fish from the beach, watch the ships coming into and leaving Galveston harbor, and wonderful viewing of shore birds. Porta Pots are the only facility.

Waves are big and you cant swim in half of it but there are a lot of shells and quiet places to fish. Worth a stop. Love the byob!

We stopped along Boddeker Road and watched the birds, the ships, the jumping fish. It was very enjoyable.

Everywhere I went to in galveston, at times not completely participating by going inside. Just the site and knowledge of what they offer is exciting.
