Beautiful studio lofts with hardwood floors and high ceilings! You can eat, drink, and shop on the first floor, where several small businesses are located. (The excellent Old Moon Deli & Pie is the newest addition!) Its an easy walk to MOD Coffeehouse, galleries, restaurants, and bars. The community feels safe and friendly, and I cant emphasize enough how great the management is! Becky Major, the landlady, makes this place the best place to live in the area. Aside from being a true warrior at addressing any maintenance needs quickly, she is also a wonderful neighbor and an inspiring, creative powerhouse in the local community. NHAL has changed my life for the better.

Truly one of the most amazing places Ive ever lived. The people are amazing, Becky is amazing, and my loft was.. yeah... amazing. I had to move back to Houston for work but I miss it every day... Every. Day.

Ive lived here since May of 2012. Its a truly supportive art community and living loftspace right in the heart of downtown Galveston. Many mediums of artists live here, and its part of the thriving local community. We have one heck of a building supervisor and art coordinator who works endlessly to keep it all together. Truly supportive and inspiring atmosphere!

I have only lived here for a few months but it felt like home as soon as I sat the first box down. The building is conveniently located in the downtown district, walking distance to the Strand and many galleries, restaurants, and pubs. The building manager is very reachable and responsive.
