My wife and I went to try out our new pistols. They were open till 8pm, which was nice. They let my wife shoot for free and I was also free as I am prior service military. Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere for new and experienced shooters. Cant wait to go back.

Great store and staff. I recently bought a handgun from them. Went back a few days later and bought another. Really like the friendly knowledgeable staff! Going to be taking my concealed carry permit in December.

Great storefront and range. Employees very friendly, knowledgeable, funny and helpful. Large & nice selection of firearms for rentals at a very reasonable fee and for purchase at good reasonable prices. A indoor range that allows .223 was a very nice surprise! My son had a great time there as did I and we plan on bringing mom/wife next time. Kids (appropriate age) and women shoot for free, you can’t beat that.

Went to this store interested in purchasing a handgun. However the white haired gentleman behind the counter did not seem to have time for customers. He was too busy telling jokes to two other gentleman. After several minutes attempting to gain his attention, I gave up, throwing my hands in the air, I left the store. He did not slow down with his story. I guess they have all the business they want.

I took the Enhanced Open Carry class here back in September. The class was very informal thanks to the wonderful instructor Dana hes awesome!! Hes the only guy I know that can teach a 8hr class and you will not be bored!!

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. Just about everything in the store is at a reasonable price. The range is very nice we go there as a family and shoot all the time. The staff is never too busy to answer any questions you have about anything

Don’t take your pistol in to fit it for a holster. I asked a gentleman if it was ok and he asked if my pistol was loaded. I pulled my pistol out to drop the magazine and show him the chamber was clear. He freaked out and basically accused me of pointing the pistol in his direction. I’ve carried and practiced FA safety longer than he has been alive but he had to show himself so I left and won’t return. It’s unfortunate because my wife and daughter was about to take some classes there but we will go elsewhere. I understand the need to make sure people practice safety but when a customer is and you have to act like you’re the only one who knows how to brandish and clear a firearm you should work elsewhere. I’m headed to guns and leather.

I love going here. And theyll tell you that too. Everyone here is a wise-cracking professional, competent and able to answer just about every question you throw at them. Their handgun permit class is the best. Informative as it should be but it doesnt feel like youre back in high school droning on and on. Loyal customer here till the end.

My husband and I were here just a couple of months ago. The place looked awesome and the people were helpful and friendly. Good place to practice. Just dont shoot above the line and you will be good as gold ! I recommend this to anyone and ladies, we shoot free on Mondays

The staff here is what sets Sumner apart from the rest of the local gun shops. Everyone that works here is always pleasant to speak with and very knowledgeable. Unlike most gun stores you go into, the staff here is not condescending, they will actually speak to you like a human being.The range is basic but more than adequate for an indoor range.Trading is always a breeze and I have found Sumner to be very fair on trades.I only knock them 1 star because the selection of fire arms offered is not that great. Sure, if you want Glock, Ruger, Springfield, SCCY or Canik you’re covered but they only offer 1 model of CZ, no HK, No Dan Wesson and a very limited supply of 1911’s.They also need a better selection of kydex holsters. I suggest being a Alien Gear dealer.

I wanted to rate this establishment higher, I really did. The range is decent, and pricing is definitely reasonable.However, upon exiting the firing range, an employee that I didnt catch the name of decided to make an extremely disrespectful statement.His joke was implying that they were collecting loose change, credit cards, etc, in order purchase ammo. I said I cant afford to buy anyone else ammo. I work security downtown in Nashville.His response was Oh. Work security and probably on welfare, too.Im a disabled combat veteran, and prior law enforcement. To me, having never used any government benefits in my life, this was absolutely uncalled for. After I started walking out, informing them I wouldnt be returning due to the disrespectful nature of comments made by employees. I had a family reunion with my two brothers, and grandfather, and we all wanted to go shooting. Ill be taking my business elsewhere, from now on.

Service was excellent, Tim told us a lot of helpful information, and he asked us if we wanted to go in the gun range without us asking. Very safe very clean. Great gun shop.

Customer Service Excellence. My little girl went in and purchased reloading supplies for her dear old dad. She failed to pick one item up and I had to go to the shop with the receipt to try to retrieve one item. Turns out it was special order and after a time was no longer in the shop. So instead of making me wait for another to be ordered they upgraded my (Present) from what was paid for to the awesome product that was on hand. Clean Professional staff and Business. Make it your go to place for Firearms and Accessories and dont for get training. Peace.

I made a phone call asking them about a particular product. They did not have the exact product in stock And they had to close early due to an illness. Being that I was only a couple of moments away, they told me to come-on and anyways and they would see if they could find a product to match my needs. The 1st holster that was presented to me was a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone for their firearm needs. Furthermore I appreciate professional courtesy and them staying for a couple of extra minutes and helping me out.

Every time I have been in, everyone is courteous and helpful. Every time I have shot at the range, even when there is a giant line and wait list, they are polite and on time. Ive only purchased one firearm from this location, but it certainly wont be my last.The range is nice, and 25 yards long, with 10 lanes and a good bit of booth space. The prices are super reasonable and theyve got a nice little collection of rentals, though im sure its not as extensive as some of the larger guns shops in the Nashville-Metro area.They teach TN carry permit classes. This is, without a doubt, where I will do my practicing, learning and testing.If you are local to Sumner county dont look any further than this place to shop and shoot.

I took the required testing/class in order to carry a weapon yesterday. A Couple of issues that disturbed me.1.Two students cell phones were buzzing and chirping during the day, extremely hard to concentrate on info being taught.(Id suggest the instructor ask all students to turn OFF there cell phones before the class starts,if and emergency should arise the students should have given notice for all emergencies calls to call the main store number in advance.2. The class room chairs should be replaced or seat padding added.Other than these two issues The class went well.the general manager who taught this class did overall a great job.

Great facility and really nice staff! They had a good selection of firearms and had good prices as well. I went there to shoot an IDPA match and one of the employees was shooting in it as well. Like a complete rookie, my front site post flew off my gun because I did not put Loctite on it. He helped me find it (miracle) and went in the back to get some Loctite! I definitely enjoyed my visit and will be back.
