Been a member for 2 months now. What a great place. The golf course is in excellent condition the staff is friendly and efficient. The pool is maintained very well. They have done a very good job at committing to the social distancing and the virus complications. The restaurant and bar are exceptionally clean and the staff is just fantastic. My wife and I are very happy we joined.

Steak night is always delicious, new York strip cooked perfectly, baked potato and green beans.

Nice course. Looks open but has a lot of tree trouble. Need to be accurate off the tee box. Greens had a lot of spike marks around the hole but otherwise were rolling great.

Great golf course! Well maintained, nice driving range and putting area and most of all, a great bar/food lounge. Pro shop has everything you need. Wait staff and golf staff are second to none. Really enjoyed cigar alley, a unique place! Plenty of parking. One of Montgomery countys best golf course!

It was obvious that great effort is put into maintaining the banquet facilities. They were clean and in very good order.

I havent been here is many years, but I was impressed. A nice, chill country club with a course that is a solid layout and a brand new restaurant/patio area. The golf course has a lot of variety off the tee. Doglegs left and right, bunkers frame many landing areas, and there are some tight tee shots. But most holes open up nicely to reveal the greens. Standouts were the 4th that turns right into a green framed by water on the right. 10 is stunning. It drops off into another water hazard that frames three greens including the par 3 11th hole. The middle of the back 9 immediately reminded me of some holes at Laytonsville that have severely pitched fairways in between tree lined landing areas. Three of the par 5s are reachable and the last one, 18, would take two perfect shots for me. I had a ton of fun and enjoyed (seriously) being pushed by the foursome in the following tee time. Glad people keep it moving I out here.

We recently held the Laytonsville Lions Club Foundations charity golf outing at Montgomery Country Club. It was out first one in almost 15 years. The event off smoothly mostly due to the professionalism of the staff at the country club. The food was great, the service was even better and the event was enjoyed by everyone. We have already booked our 2nd outing for next year. A huge Thank You to Valencia aka, Vinnie for guiding me through the process of running this event.

Good swim team and above average food. Price of a membership is very cheap compared to other clubs in the area. Would recomend visiting and seeing the amazing golf course.

Excellent golf course, exceptional condition, super layout, some complex pin placements, key shot making essential to score low.

As a golf club, this is a 5-star track. One of the best courses in Maryland. Its a sneaky good, tree-lined, challenging, 50-year old course. Greens were redone about 8-10 years ago and the course is always in immaculate shape.On the down side, the clubhouse is not great and the food options are limited. There is also no tennis. Never been to the pool, but its 25y as opposed to 25m, so slightly shorter than regulation.Staff is excellent, especially for events. Members can use the facility to host events, catered by the club, and its a great place to do that. Valencia is the best in the business and runs every event going. And the grill and patio have been significantly upgraded in 2016.For a golf club, its the best bang for your buck in Montgomery County.

Exceptional service, as a lifeguard there, the pool is one of the best not to mention the club house.

Love Montgomery Country Club. This is a great golf course that is relatively unknown by many golfers in the area. It has a very laid back feel, and the members are truly what make this club unique. The course is awesome and it always well maintained. You wont see a lot of shirts and ties at this place which is why so many people enjoy it.

Fun course to play - many interesting holes.

This golf club is right across the street or through the woods from my sisters house but my brother-in-law in his friends golf there all the time and golf most of the time at a lot of Montgomery County golf park and planning commission golf Clubs. So I Rating them on what I hear From them 2nd hand but theyre avid golf players in love the game and this particular courses off 108

I never thought I would have to write a review like this. The reason why Im giving it a 3 out of 5 is because of the Chef Tim. He cannot cook to save his life. Theres this dinner buffet every Tuesday night that I go. The last couple times I went, I thought I was going to barf. The food was TERRIBLE! So many people have complained about the chef but no one does anything about it. Ive been a club member for years and I have NEVER had awful food there until this chef was hired. Theres no flavor, the smell is God awful, the menu constantly changes. Even when I order from the regular menu, it STILL sucks! Im not too sure why the club members love the new menu so much. There are less choices, the ingredients have changed for the worst, and theres only ONE good thing on the menu... and that is their funnel cake. Thats just my personal opinion, but something needs to happen or theyre going to lose club members. I would rather go eat elsewhere before heading to the club for any event. This is quite disappointing for a country club with a great reputation and with what they charge you for being a member. SO sad! On a better note: I love the people there! Everyone is very down to earth (at least the ones I know). The service is awesome, too! Very nice, professional, and respectful staff. #MakeMontgomeryCountryClubGreatAgain

Ive been a member here for around 8 years. They change the menu too often. Take off the most popular items and replace them with whatever is cheapest from sysco. However, the Club had turned it around in the past years with more menu items staying on the menu for longer periods of time. The golf course is excellent and in great condition. New servers are great and caring. Overall, MCC is a good Country Club for those in the greater Laytonsville area.
